I think you should put the update.zip in the /dload/ folder
but you need to extract that from the zip, if you open the zip file you will see a dload folder already, just put that at the root of your phone internal storage

Try making sure the MM Beta update you down is just called update.zip and put that in /dload/
then go to settings...update...press menu and select local update....and then you can choose the update you want to apply

Oh yes sorry.
Try placing the original download...named update.zip in /dload/ (don't extract any items from the zip) and then restart device whilst volume + and - is pressed at the same time
Also try a factory reset if you can't get passed boot...do that by pressing volume + when u restart
Also try downloading files again I've had corrupt downloads very often.
Read the threads about extracting boot.IMG, cust.IMG, system.IMG and recovery.IMG from the B145 update.app file using huaweiupdateextractor....it may help

Could you do some small tutorial how to flash via fastboot ? I found this post and i don't know exacly what should i do:
bgx said:
I boot into fastboot and flash via fastboot cust.img, boot.img, recovery.img, system.img, data.img (Hope that I haven't forget something) from the B145 full firmware extracted with huawei extractor.
Then reboot and do a full factory reset with stock recovery.
Reboot and then do the partialupdate B303.
After that again full factory reset.
And then it worked!

As far as I know, you need to go to settings and enable - OEM Unlock....but this option is only available in 5.1.1...its not available in B303 Beta...however it does return in B321 Beta.
However as you cant turn phone on you wont be able to get to settings...so you cant unlock bootloader

I flashed B609 CWM Stock from XDA from B813 and it worked fine then reset to factory
Now on B609, I cannot flash B621 OTA, Stock or Incremental at all, just fails at 0%
I tried with stock recovery and cwm and twrp
I always get the "cannot execute the file from zip" usually because of the build.prop, even removing the checks from buildprop, it fails at 3dmodem folder
I checked the build.prop with Build.Prop viewer and all the inputs such as build, model etc is correct
There is no motion control tho, but keyboard and wifi works
I really dont like B609, very slow
I want to get to B815
Can anyone help me completely redo my phone????
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Thanks in advance

If you're talking about the power, + and - volume then yes I have tried that, each update of B621 never goes past 1% and it says it cannot execute the zip

Well, of course it cannot execute a zip file - there should be an update.app in the dload folder.
So try with B609 stock recovery, with an extracted update.app, and everything should be fine. I'd also try a factory reset before flashing, just to be sure.

What is the recovery you are using? Try flashing it from here, then three button method (VOL + and - and POWER). You could also try to flash B609 and its CUST partition first, and THEN the 621 OTA.
BTW if I were you, I'd wait for the official Lollipop since this one is not stable. It eats more RAM out of the box, and openin applications freeze the whole system after a few months. I just reverted back to B609 because the phone couldn't even play music without waiting for 30 seconds for the Play Music to load, then pressing the button, then waiting, then start, then crash, then start over and pray.
OK people, so i bring another (hopefuly helpful to someone) exprecience with BOOTLOOP.
Problem: I had stock B200 firmware (5.0.2). I wanted to try beta update of marshmallow, so i decided to try it. It was told me i can update directly from B200 one, so i just copied update.zip to DLOAD folder, went to settings and run local update. The phone restarted, booted into recovery and started flashing. BUT, i forgot that i had custom TWRP recovery and not stock one, anyway, TWRP started flashing the zip, error after error, but some files still copied and bricked the phone. I couldnt start any recovery, just fastboot and some mode that should download online file and reflash system, but it would be very easy so it has error too.
Here is what i did:
1. Download the update zip of marshmallow you were trying to flash and unpack UPDATE.APP
2. Extrac: RECOVERY.img and BOOT.img
3. set phone to fastboot mode and flash extracted BOOT.img, then RECOVERY.img
4. after that, you need somehow copy whole B200 firmware into sdcard / dload folder (i took micro sd and inserted into another phone, then copied it)
5. now you can boot into force flashing mode (power + volume up + volume down buttons) and it automaticaly reflash whole system.
6. after reboot you can use your P8
OK, i got it work!

I've tried this, albeit without the userdata.img however although it took me back to EMUI 3.1 and Lollipop some menu items were not working such as setting a screen lock and unable to get to guest mode.
Would also not update using the B114 full ROM, would only accept the B303 beta.

There is rollback package on polish site: http://consumer.huawei.com/pl/support/mobile-phones/mates-pl-sup.htm

I update to B132 and I have some bug on this firmware
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yVya1LV5IM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Mhg3hdcSq0
I want to dowgrade from nem-l21_c432b132 back to stock nem-l21_c432b100
I copy the dload and update.app B100 + *#*#2846579#*#* and press update, but is not working, i get update failed.
How can downgrade the firmware?
You got the update fail cause your version is higher than b100.
I think that if you want to downgrade you will have to download Full B100 not the OTA.
But I recommend if you want to do this use the b130 - I am using it and it is very good.
Do the whole procedurę through turned of phone: then VOL down and up together if I remember correctly.
I have try Full B100 not ota.
Not working.
Maybe some one know how to downgrade with fastboot?
nem-l21_c432b132 to nem-l21_c432b130 is working downgrade.
But i want nem-l21_c432b100
i try flashboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
At fastboot flash system system.img i get failed
someone can help me?
@zzhunt This is an experimental method to go back to B100 by using OEMinfo. You do on your own risk! Required unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP (from Meticulus). Before performing make a full backup in TWRP.
1. Download here this package and put together of firmware B100 on the memory card,
2. Run and install in TWRP this package.
3. When finished install it, restart your smartphone to fastboot mode (Reboot>Bootloader)
4. Plug it into your computer and flash original recovery [LINK] a command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
5. When you can flashed, then disconnect and hold power switch. When the informations will disappear from the display, immediately press the buttons Volume up and Volume down,
6. Will start the flashing system and after finishing restart your smartphone
7. Done!
I tested so far only on my device and don't know, what will happen with smartphone a different serial number/IMEI etc., but rather it should go.

In full stock firmware, after extracting it, there is dload folder. In dload folder there will be 2 folders and update app.
I try B100 firmware bulgaria and greece
On greece is only dload folder and update.app
And in bulgaria is 1 folder hw + update.app
http://postimg.org/image/w6e41dxet/
in hw folder is other folder EU and inside is update_data_hw_eu.app
I try with update.app + this folder.
Not working, at 5% fail install and start normal.
I want to go back to B100 because this updates B130-131-132 is junk for me.

You have unlocked bootloader? If not, you'll have to unlock - here is a tutorial on how to do it. Then you flash TWRP and perform what I wrote previously.
for me b132 optimized alot battery life and ram usage. also gpu works better.
Hello.
I have a P9 with unlocked bootloader, TWRP and root and android 6 ( stock ).
By mistake, i flash in TWRP a custom rom of P9-lite.
Now, i can't enter in TWRP. I can't even flash stock rom with 3 buton method ( update.app in dload folder ).
With Vol - and Power, or Vol + and power, i only see the screens in attach.
I've tried flash with fastboot ( the only thing that works ) system.img, boot.img, cust.img and recovery.img ( extracted from the stock rom with Huawei update extractor) and nothing works.
I try various versions of TWRP, with no success.
Can anybody help me?
dload is not starting at all?
What was your last build?
use dc-phoenix and push update 15 credits (15 euros) then you can place a dload.app to your sdcard. ive done it and it worked just fine

You can use srk tool and also you can try 'fastboot flash system system.img' command. If pc cannot detect your device, you can do nothing. Just control that fastboot devices command. If adb says command not allowed, device may be locked ur bootloader. Try to unlock again. Check this 'fastboot oem get-bootinfo'

Yes just try it. Especially fastboot flash cust cust.img
If cannot, just flash them what you can and try dload method again and again.
I think most important is oryginal recovery

Try these steps:
1. Flash stock recovery in fastboot mode.
2. Power off device by long pressing power button
3. wait about 1 minute
4. try dload
When you say dload doesn't work what do you mean? Nothing happens at all? or it fails mid update?

Use the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" obviously change the last bit to whatever you named your image file.
