Matte tempered glass - G4 Accessories

Hi guys, recently bought from ebay the "kwmobile TOUCH SCREEN PROTECTOR TEMPERED GLASS FOR LG G4 ANTI-GLARE FOIL FILM" matte finish tempered glass screen protector(says foil film in title but i can confirm it is glass), was really hard to find so thought I'd share in case anyone else looking for the same. It was shipped free from Berlin and reached me in Ireland in 2 days. So far seems really good and is holding up nicely, application was easy.
UPDATE: Exact link to one I bought is - http://m.ebay.ie/itm/kwmobile-TOUCH...-FOR-LG-G4-ANTI-GLARE-FOIL-FILM-/400936064288 - if this is out of stock please search "kwmobile TOUCH SCREEN PROTECTOR TEMPERED GLASS FOR LG G4 ANTI-GLARE FOIL FILM" exactly on Ebay as I know there are multiple listings for the same product from the same seller - I bought from mobilepartner-berlin. Cheapest currently in stock link is - http://m.ebay.com.sg/itm/281719629460?_mwBanner=1#shpCntId

I would share link but i do not have enough posts to do so at the moment but if you search "kwmobile TOUCH SCREEN PROTECTOR TEMPERED GLASS FOR LG G4 ANTI-GLARE FOIL FILM" exactly on ebay the cheapest listing is the one i bought, it was sold by mobilepartner-berlin. So far the screen protector is holding up really nicely, i tried scratching some metal bracelets against it but no damage done. As for looks and usability it's all very nice, looks great and I'm really happy with the benefit of no reflection. It feels great and touchscreen responsiveness is also not affected which is always good. One other major benefit I have seen is that the screen no longer is a fingerprint magnet, at all - for me that alone was worth the purchase.

Would you be able to post a few photos?

Just ordered my one, will post photos and an update once it arrives.

Ooo, that looks great! I get bad glare on the tempered glass screen protector that I have on now. Will seek this one out.
Thanks for letting us all know! :good:

im guessing it dims the phone screen a little. how is it out in the sun?

Thinking about getting one of these, supposed to be picking up a G4 tonight (crossing my fingers that the seller comes through). Has anyone been able to find these on Amazon because I did a search with the noted keywords and while I find a lot of stuff from kwmobile there's nothing listed for the G4 in terms of a matte tempered glass screen protector. As someone that has been using Moshi AG iVisor protectors for a long long time they are what I want but they never made one for the G4, they did make a glossy tempered glass one but I can't stand that shiny crap.
The pics from the OP look absolutely fantastic and I really want to consider one of these but I just can't find it on Amazon in the US, maybe I'll check other countries and see if anything shows up.
irishlad99:
If you still have any more info like a specific model or part number of that screen protector that might help me track one down as well, if you can post the info that would be awesome, thanks.

It's actually really good out in the sun! Visibility is much improved thanks to the elimination of glare, I'll take some pics next time the sun comes out here (Rare occasion in Ireland)
As for dimming of the phones screen - I personally haven't found it to cause any problems and I still find it comfortable to use with auto brightness on, as long as the light is not fallimg on the phone at extreme angles like in some of my photos the screen is always perfectly visible indoors and outdoors, and if you find light falling at an extreme angle I've found tilting the phone a degree or two in another direction or shifting around a bit solves any issues. - hope that helps!

Thanks, I bought this one from Ebay, exact link is http://m.ebay.ie/itm/kwmobile-TOUCH...-FOR-LG-G4-ANTI-GLARE-FOIL-FILM-/400936064288 - although if you want to buy from Amazon I remember seeing that skinomi do a MatteSkin for the LG G4 - you could try searching "Skinomi MatteSkin LG G4" on Amazon. While skinomi is not tempered glass their skins are made of a very tough soft materials, I wouldve bought one myself but it's a lot more expensive (24.95 in dollars I believe) - More information on how to order + links have been added to original post

Thanks for that info, I added it to my eBay wish list hoping they might get some in stock again soon. I can't stand glossy screen protectors and tempered glass traditionally has always been really shiny and reflective. After I used a Moshi AG iVisor years ago honestly never wanted anything else ever again but they only make those for very specific phones unfortunately.
This is the first time I've ever seen an actual tempered glass screen protector that has a matte finish to it so I definitely want one, let's hope I get lucky (and so to other people that might want one).

I'm sure it would but they don't ship to the US it seems. I'm sure I'll find one sooner or later, thanks for looking around.

Have to say I don't like this matte tempered protector at all. I can hardly see the screen when out in sunlight whereas with my older glossy one which I had to replace I could see the screen adequately even while wearing sunglasses ! Also it has an effect of diminishing the colors and you loose the deep blacks that the G4 offers. Really can't recommend this shield at all.

ezzony:
Did you actually find one of the tempered glass matte protectors someplace - that's what this thread is about, not the more easy to find matte plastic ones which is what I myself use. The OP found an actual tempered glass screen protector with the matte finish and I myself have tried to find the same thing but I've never had any success. What I use is from a company called SuperShieldz and it's an anti-glare anti-fingerprint matte screen protector (get a 6 pack for like $5 on Amazon).
If you've found a true tempered glass matte screen protector could you tell me where you found it/purchased it from?
Thanks...

looks great, thx for sharing

I am in the US and already have my Z3TC since last week but I'm using it with the plastic that it had because I have'nt bought a screen protector. Sony store doesn't have any acessories for it yet I'm waiting for a case and a screen protector and also the game control mount to be available. There is a tempered glass screen protector I found on Amazon but I don't know if it's any good because there are no reviews yet.
Here is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NA8D7S6/ref=pd_aw_sbs_2?pi=SY115&simLd=1
There's another one too: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NGXH8WQ?pc_redir=1412930863&robot_redir=1
Thanks guys!
Here's another one from Roxfit I'll update the first thread!
I've been using a VSTN glass protector for a week, and think it's quite decent.
BTW, does z3tc have anti-shatter film? I installed the protector without taking look at it.
Cool

You bought the VSTN screen protector on Amazon right? Was it easy to install?
I think since the Z2 sony doesn't put the anti-shatter film anymore because people hated it.
Yes, I guess there's no more ASF on Z3x because of the Z1. I'll look to it when I receive mine.

I bought it on amazon.co.jp (Japanese version), but amazon.com also has the same product (ASIN: B00NA8D7S6)
It was easy to install, and there's no air bubble. The camera and sensor holes are perfectly aligned.
No anti-shatter, nice! I wasted a whole day peeling z ultra....
Has anyone managed to find a tempered glass screen protector in UK for the tab z3 com
Has anyone managed to find a tempered glass screen protector in UK? I've searching for them for about a week and no has tempered glass screen protector for the Tab z3 Compact. Everyone has the standard plastic one's. I've even contacted a few suppliers on Amazon and eBay but no luck
I'm using the Sony oficial one, I've ordered when order the tablet plus the free white case.
So far I don't have complains. Really thin, clear, no bubbles, and good for typing/use/click.
12€ is not bad for a oficial one, but remember is only one SC if you screw up well 12€ for trash. Most officials ones on my country are like 19€ pack of 2sc, hope Sony does in future some of those packs.
I got this one here off ebay, Free shipping also, still waiting for it to arrive.

You're link is broken
I bought the official screen protector, well it does the work nothing more, nothing less. It is still painful to put flawlessly as usual (w/o any dust, or hair between the screen and the film). It's seems to be resistant to fingerprints, a simple wipe with a microfiber towel will clean the film.
Cheers

Just got it in the mail today (finally) and put it on. It was packaged great, wouldn't worry about it breaking during shipment (they included a capacitive stylus too which was nice). Install was easy, just take your time lining it up and use the guide stickers once you have it lined up to keep it there for an easier install.
The fit is okay. The hole for the proximity sensor could have been a little higher but it works. Its fills the tablet from top to bottom snug but the sides are slightly small but not bad at all.
The edges don't seem to be rounded like some other tempered glass protectors I have gotten but they aren't sharp. Sticks up just a little when on as expected.
Overall I'm happy with it. Price was good but shipping took almost a month.

Original Sony Protector
I went for the original Sony one & found it better than I expected tbh. It's got a slight anti-glare finish to it that I wouldn't normally choose but it works really well.
Might just have been lucky, but I found it really easy to install, compared to others I've fitted to my other devices.
On the whole I think I'd recommend it. I was going to use this until I found a good tempered glass one, but I'm starting to think there's little point changing it.

Screen protector or no?

Looking for advice on screen protector vs. no screen protector for my shiny new Moto X that just arrived. I can't seem to find one locally so I'll have to order something online if I need it (tried local AT&T, Best Buy, and Office Max because I was walking by it). I used to run a Ghost Armor protector on my old Galaxy Nexus but took it off for the last 4-5 months or so before I moved to a Lumia 1020. The GNex with Samsung's version of Gorilla Glass 2 had no scratches on it. So I figured I'd not run one on the Lumia which had GG 3 (same as the Moto X).
However my Lumia has two nice strips of rubbed in scratches across the top & bottom parts of the screen about 1/2 an inch in from the edge that I noticed after a few months and they have just gotten worse in the last year. I'm paranoid the same thing is going to happen to the Moto since it's also GG 3. The phone always goes in a pants pocket with a plastic eye drop bottle but never keys.
I live recklessly. No screen protector or case. I was in a position where someone was telling me to get one, but I like the feeling of the glass on the curving at the edges. A screen protector would disrupt the flow. I take really good care of my phones anyway. My HTC One M7 I had before for over a year didn't have anything and it only has one thin scratch from my girlfriend's diamond earrings. Which by the way, pro tip: warn people with diamond earrings to mind your phone if you let someone use it.
Personal preference, but I like the phone how it is. I don't buy a good looking phone to put a case on it.
I usually think that screen protectors, and cases are like insults to the designers who made this delightful piece of machinery... so no screen for me, and no cases, naked Moto X for me.. as always!
Do you guys put your phones in your pockets or? I thought I took good care of my phones until the glass on my Lumia.

There's always going to be those guys that don't use screen protectors, and the ones that do. I'm one that does. I've had my X exactly 1 week without a protector, but am expecting it in the mail tomorrow. No scratches at this point, and I prefer to keep it that way with a little more solid protection than just the type of glass it is. I always order Japanese pet film from amazon, much cheaper than in store, and is a hard material so screen still feels natural.

I usually don't use screen protectors or cases, but I have found that I am incredibly clumsy with this phone so far and have managed to dent the edges of the phone and scratch the screen a bit. So now I use a naked tough case and a cheap matte screen protector. I was a bit hesitant on the matte protector but thankfully I like it very much. I even like the papery feel to it.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Free mobile app
No screen protector here. I switch between 3 phones daily and none of them have screen protectors. Aside from the fact that glass is pretty hard to scratch, I just like the feel of the bare glass and see no point in protecting a screen that you're never going to touch (if you use a protector). Just take care of it and you'll be fine. I do use cases on two of my phones, but the Moto X (which is my primary phone) stays naked 98% of the time.
All of my previous phones had a screen protector installed immediately, my Moto X hasn't had one since I got it.
I planned on getting one but the mall kiosk that used to be ghost armor, then another brand isn't there any longer. I cannot do them myself because of my OCD, I always ruin it somehow, believe me I have tried.
I have a very slim case on the X but I am tempted to not use that as well and go completely naked, would be the first time I have ever done that.
I'll always use a screen protector, even though I'm very careful with the devices. To me, since I already take very good care of the device - I'm extra picky on getting a screen protector that is very thin and clear. The device has curved glass towards the edges, so don't expect that to be covered unless you get one of those heat-application full coverage protectors.
This is the one I ended up going with... after 2 months or so, it's still fantastic. If you are familiar with the old Reallook protectors, this one's identical to that. Static application, plain and simple, thin with no orange peel.

Thanks for the tip. Those are cheap, I'll grab a pack of them to get by for now and give me some time to figure out if there are better ones. The whole tempered glass thing has me intrigued but a quick search showed they seem to want to hit those curved edges which causes them to not work well either.

Yeah I was really thinking about the tempered glass also, but I was worried about thickness and feel (as it wouldn't cover the edges either) - and eventually decided against it.
With today's technology, the phones don't need screen protector at all, but if you insist on running a screen protector, I'd suggest tempered screen protector as the ordinary ones are even not protective enough than the screen itself. One thing you should also consider is, running a tempered screen protector will make the touch reponse insensitive according to my personal experience.

Well, I thought I didn't need one on the phone I had before the Moto X, a Lumia 1020 that is also supposed to use Gorilla Glass 3. I think I mentioned already I have a Galaxy Nexus with Samsung's version of GG2 that had no screen protector for the last 4 months or so that I used it daily before getting the Lumia and it had no problems with scratches. The Lumia however in the same time started getting what you see in the attached picture. That picture is today after owning for a year and doing nothing differently than the Gnexus. The only other thing ever in the same pocket is a plastic eye drop bottle. In some ways it looks almost like a coating was rubbed off, but there are some good solid scratches in it as well that are not just some coating. So that's why I was paranoid about the Moto X.

I found a 3 pack of tempered glass screen protectors for $9 USD on Amazon (with free Prime shipping!) so I caved and ordered them. It was such an amazing deal that I figured if I didn't like them it wasn't a big loss (not like $30+ name brand ones anyway). I must say, I'm pretty impressed. My only complaint is that they don't cover all the glass, but they really can't because of the curved edges on the X. It was super easy to install, and I got it on PERFECTLY with zero imperfections like dust, etc. It doesn't affect screen sensitivity at all, and since it's glass it still feels great. I'm surprising myself here, but I definitely recommend them, especially for people like me that generally hate screen protectors. For $9 for 3 of them you really can't go wrong.

Can you post a pic of what it looks like? (or a link to the post if I missed it somewhere) I'm curious how "not covered" the screen is since the only place I noticeably see a curve is right at the edge where it meets the bezel.

Here ya go. I think the screen starts sloping a little bit before it hits the obviously rounded edges. I read reviews for a bunch of different glass screen protectors and they were all either a little too small like mine, or the right size but the edges don't stick right because of the sloped glass. I bought one from a different manufacturer for my iPhone 6 as well and it has the same issue. The screen protector I have for it is just as small as the one for the Moto X because it too has rounded edges. It was annoying at first (on both phones) but I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me any more. I'm still not sure if I'm going to keep using them though, as I still prefer a bare screen.

Ah ok. Thanks for the pic, that looks like the same coverage as the Mr. Shield PET protectors I just bought. So I think I could live with that. Yeah I'd rather go without anything, but after my experience with that Lumia and GG3 I'm just paranoid. I've never had any other phone do that, and I would expect a screen protector to look just as bad after a few months if not worse so that makes it really confusing to me that it happened.

[REVIEW] Spigen Galaxy S6 Edge Steinheil Curved Crystal [Edge to Edge]

UPDATE: 05.08.15 - It's back in stock!
This came in the mail yesterday. Man, am I glad to get rid of that nasty CellBee [email protected]$$ tempered glass. I preordered this back on April 28, 2015, and as of today (05.06.15), they're sold out at Amazon, but I highly suggest to go to this link and preorder it NOW. I know Amazon only has 2 stars rating on it, but that's because the rating is shared with other products, especially that one that only covers the center. So here's my personal review. I hope it helps everyone who reads this. I will try my best to answer all of the questions posted.
Quality: ★★★★★
I've been a Spigen fan since my Galaxy S II. They're always top of the line, especially the "Crystal" line. You do get that crystal clear look, like it's not even there. The screen protector compliments the 5.1” Quad HD (2560X1440) Super AMOLED display of the Galaxy S6 Edge. It's as smooth as glass, no rubbery feel, and most of all, no orange peel effect. Because of the unique screen of this phone, the road to finding the best screen protector has been really hard. I've tried a lot of wet application screen protectors, and most of them really didn't provide what I was looking for. A lot of them are sticky, messy, have that orange peel look, and the wait time they ask you to endure after you install it just to make the screen protector "settle", is really a drag. Some take a couple of days, I've read and experienced some that took more than a week.

Installation: ★★★★☆
Since this is a dry install screen protector, the downside is that you have to have really steady hands. No troubles with aligning, since Spigen does provide you with sticker tabs that help you position the phone. The anchor did help to hold the screen protector in place while you slowly, ease it down with the squeegee provided. I did get a couple pieces of visible dust on it, but I managed to peel the screen protector off using the dust removal stickers, and they really work. I've seen an installation video from one of the comments, from another thread,( https://youtu.be/H_BioKpfav8 )and he mentioned that the sides lift off for him. Mine didn't. I didn't apply any solution to make it stick. I just followed the instructions, worked the bubbles out, and came out pretty good.
As you can see the edge here, no lift zone.
Look & Feel: ★★★★★
I can't stress this enough, it's really nice. Our phone probably is the best looking phone in the market right now, and I just think we only deserve the best protection there is. It's really smooth. I've used the phone outside, and it does help with reducing glare. Spigen didn't specify it, but it's not a fingerprint magnet either. It does get dirty from long periods of usage, especially if you have oily hands, but a quick wipe using a microfiber cloth will do the job. Here are some shots with the case on.
Here's a couple with the screen on.
Attached here is just a picture of some packaging of screen protectors and cases I've used. Don't forget to hit Thanks! :good:
I would be interested in an updated review after you've had it on for a week or two.
So for you this is just the best one right now
Cool, I'm glad I ordered one the other day. Thanks for the review!
Just what I was looking for:
covers edge-to-edge
smooth feel and not rubbery
I'm sold

Wow, you are right. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't even notice that mine's different from the packaging. That's weird. I'm sure mine's authentic, I got the certificate of authenticity that Spigen sends. I'll probably shoot them an email and ask.

I already have lolol, because if you go to their site you can see on their pictures ,some of them have the front camera cover and the front hear grill cover and some they dont. so i email them so we could know what we are ordering. im telling you guys i love spigen but they are dropping down the ball on quality and promoting their products...
good observation marcochapita
i don't know why mine is different from viciouspinoy
mine has come directly from spigen website and off course it's a original product with certificate of authenticity inside and everything.
If you watch better the box of viciouspinoy seems that the screen protector is not highlighted above the phone and also the 2 small icons in the left down part saw that the protector dosen't cover the front camera like mine.
like i have already wrote to another thread the front protector is amazing and it covers 100% the screen but the back doesn't cover all the surface of the phone.
viciouspinoy your back protector covers everything?
That's what I'm afraid I like yours tzitzos and I always buy from Spigen store on Amazon but I'm afraid I'm getting the one that doesn't cover the entire top like yours if you see the both boxes show on the Front the same cut on the top or yours shows the complete screen protector on the box that covers the entire s6 edge I'm asking you that because you didn't post any shots from your cover.

Dear Marco,
Many thanks for choosing Spigen!
If you are interested in dry installation, we suggest you to buy Spigen Steinheil Curved Crystal for Galaxy EDGE SGP11537. Additionally, it covers all edges of your device for full protection.

Case with built in Screen Protector?

Just received my S7 Edge today, I've actually bought the Tech21 case for it.
However with the lack of decent screen protectors at the minute is there not a case which takes care of this for you?
I've had a look around and found an X-Doria Defense 360 Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Case – Clear , anybody managed to get one or something similar which isn't too bulky?
Thanks
As i thought the Tech21 Evo Frame case edges must be fairly sharp and I can't get the screen protector to stay down especially up near the top. I've tried both the InvisibleShield Original and the Ultimate Shield one (I am in the UK). Has anybody got one to work with this case?
If not has any got any recommendations for cases with a built in screen protector as mentioned above?
Thanks

IQ Shield makes a case-friendly screen protectors for the phone. I am currently using it with my Tech21 Frame and have zero issues.

Right now they are one of the few that actually makes case-friendly screen protectors. They do ship internationally though.
What is the difference between the case friendly and a regular screen protector? They have a few different option on amazon, but don't explain the difference.
By the looks of the post above compared to what I have got it seems to be cut out more at the top and the bottom corners compared to trying to cover the whole screen. The weakest places with my cover on are up near the very top and bottom so this should help it from not lifting when you put the case on but still cover most of the screen.
Both Skinomi and ArmorSuit make "case-friendly" screen protectors for the GS7E.
I've found one...

Tried it at best buy. I have a film on so it had that slick oil thing going. But protects well. So not sure if the screen protector hindered full screen functionality.

it does look cool but its pre order so it not even available
i just bought this one http://tinyurl.com/gkqlckx hope its good as most s7 edge glass protectors are bad even the name brand ones ...
Just received the Ghostek Atomic 2.0 Case. Even though Screen is not glass does not feel that back. No stickiness like plastic films. But for now just had it on for some hours so can't really say for long run yet.
It is a bit wider like a little over 1/4" more than the UAG case. Which adds to black borders on the front as seen on the pictures. So if you already had trouble using it with one hand, this would cause a bit more trouble.
The thickness is about the same as the UAG case when both are facing screen down.
This case advertises Waterproof but has 2 openings for the speaker grill on top and the home button on bottom. I would expect water could get in through those openings. Screen is dot matrix.
The look of the case for me is nice and does not make it look ugly in my perspective. As because the screen guard as they call it make it look like the screen is showing more than some cases that adds front black plastic borders on top and bottom.
The one thing is you might want to use wireless charging more due to having to open up ports more often if using a usb charger.
Here are some pictures I took. Sorry about quality. The best Camera I have is the GS7 edge. lol.
http://imgur.com/a/osNxm
Right now I'm using it with the TANAAB Screen protector.
I'll post more about it. But first reactions seems to be a good case but would depend on how you would see it and if the 1/4" width bigger than a UAG case would be a drawback or not.
It Seems that Ghostek send several out to Mobilefun or Uviyo in batches but haven't shipped through their main site.
Update:
Update about the openings mentioned above. The waterproof works and does not get inside case if there's nothing that raises the area where the openings are. I had the TANAAB TGSP that doesn't go full length of the phone let water in but when removed and tested no water went in. So waiting to test it with a similar TGSP like GPEL2 that fully extends the the phone and see how that works.
When With TANAAB. Sensitivity didn't change and could provide good protection if needed as the outside screen is just a thin plastic film.
Just wanted to point this out.

I just swapped out my Note 7 for the s7 edge and purchased the Defender and has crazy problems with the screen registering the touches. I then removed the screen protector now the phone is loose in the case and the bottoms don't align anymore. So I did the OtterBox warranty and when that case comes in I'll get a refund from Sprint for the Defender and go with a different case. Did you remove the screen protector and have the same button issues? Also like the screen was pushing the phone down in the case which aligned the buttons. Really sucks it just doesn't work without the thick crappy built in screen protector.

case friendly screen protectors for note 8

hey guys
like many here i pre ordered the note 8. i also have a UAG Monarch case pre ordered.
since this is my first phone with a edge screen i noticed that it will be kinda hard to find a good screen protector. for 2 days im looking through amazon to find something but for now it seems impossible to find something decent.
glass screen protectors seem to be really bad on edge phones so i really don't want or need one of those. also because i only get a screen protector for minor scratches and not for other reasons like a shattered screen.
also there are so many cheap asia products which seem to be from the same factory but just rebranded with different names. the protectors, the packaging, everything looks the same except the name on it. mostly them, but also many others got so many fake reviews that i will not buy them ever, even if they were really good, which i doubt.
for example stuff from those companys: supcase, profer, cubevit, g-color, danibos, klearlook, moko, yootech and so on. all fake and crap.
i also looked for a s8+ screen protector just so i can see which brand is good and which one i should get for the note 8 but there isn't even something good for the s8+. WTF!!! even the one from spigen seems to be crap.
so can any one in here recommend me a simple nice tpu screen protector with edge sides covered which will also be case friendly???
i had a s4 before and i took of my screen protector 6 months ago. since then i got many minor scratches even tho i got nothing then my phone in my pockets. so i don't want this to happen with my new phone.
please guys im getting crazy here. only 10 more days to find something. thanks!!!
ok i think i will try this one and hope it will be good.
maybe someone else in here tried this brand already on s8/s8+ and can tell me something about it?
thanks!!

I'm not a big fan of plastic protectors - in terms to protecting against scratches they are better than nothing, but generally suffer from poor oleophobic properties, don't feel as "slick" as glass, and sometimes mark up when using the S-Pen.

+1 glass is much better way to go!
i gave in and had best buy put on an invisibleshield hd on my note 8.. I am pleasantly surprised by the nice feel and so far no spen issues with marking..its case friendly and im glad i had them apply it.. (also price matched for $19.99 from zagg) i went through 2 different tempered glass ones off amazon ..Honestly i think im going to keep this one on for the duration.. it fits perfect and since its case friendly theres no lifting up at the edges.

Check out the current thread on whitestone. There's no way I'd pay $50 for one protector. I bought three for a fraction of the price of one of theirs and am totally satisfied with the one I'm using now.

There obviously could be a huge variation in the quality of the sticky-edged/dot-matrix type protectors, but it's difficult to imagine any coming close to the performance of the Whitestone with regard to sensitivity, clarity, fit and feel.
The Whitestone isn't cheap, but it is very good.

Yeah I get that. Using the one that I linked, I honestly can't justify paying the price for whitestone. It can't be 5 times better but costing nearly 5 times more.... It needs to be.

Well, the Whitestone is 100 times better than the p.o.s. protector I put on to start off with.

This works well for me.
Note 8 screen protector/cases
I have the Note 8 with a Zagg HD Clear Invisible Shield (not the glass one) and a Otterbox Defender case. Not happy with either. The Defender case pushes on the edges of the screen protector and it peels up. Not too happy with the Otterbox Defender holster. It's flimsy and doesn't hold on to the case very well. I have problems with my phone being popped or pulled out of the holster of something rubs or catches on it. It comes out pretty easy. It's not held in the holster very well at all. Anyway, I just purchased a Whitestone. I hear they're the best glass protectors. As far as compatible cases, I know there are some YouTube videos that people test screen protectors with various cases.
