Long story short my Desire 510 decided that it wanted to reboot its self constantly. Yes i was annoyed but i think i done diddly messed up. I tried flashing new roms and it wouldn't work. In TWRP i think there is a option to revert image to stock or something along those lines. I tried that in a desperate attempt to fix it and it stayed the same for some time but then after an hour or so and it wouldn't even turn on. I cant even get into TWRP and its not responding to anything. This is probably frustrating to the pros on here and im sorry in advance but if i can have any help i appreciate it completely.

Well heres the story. I flashed cyanogen 6.0 and all was great,fast,smooth,perfect... Then it all went downhill. The backlight cut out. After wiping, reflashing, doing everything possible as far as that it was still the same.
I soon figured out that if i lock my phone while it was closed, then slid it open and hit menu the backlight would turn on, but it will not work when its not slid open at all.
Problem #2
As i have been dealing with the first problem and i dont have alot of time to fix it because of work and all, it grew even worse. Now when i do what i was doing to get the backlight to come on, The phone will randomly freeze/backlight wont come on at all/ Screen wont even come on.
When i turn on the phone sometimes the screen wont even come on but the backlight will and it wont get anywhere."blank lit black screen no tmobile g1 logo"
This also happens when i go to recovery using home+power. I remedy that by taking out the battery and starting the phone till it works.
Could someone please help me out here i dont really have to much to spend on a new phone and it would be great if i can get this one going like it should again.
you need to wipe before reinstall
if you have armonR, you wipe everything the wipe menu and flash the rom and the flash gapp-3
ive done that many times, hasnt solved anything. i dont know whats going on..getting to the point where i might just break down and get a htc hd2 and put android on it
Try flashing the Defanged Base (which you can find on the cyanogen wiki) then flash the Rom again.
to be honest it was time for an upgrade anyways, now i have the samsung vibrant. Its awesome. Thank you for the help anyways though.

You lucky f***! How are you liking it? I was thinking about getting one soon but i havent talked to anyone with one. Is there anything you dont like about it?
I bricked my phone tonight. sgh-t959v Why on earth I ever thought this would go as well as it did with my behold 2 back in the day I don't know.
Well for starters I rooted the phone, then when there was another update tonight I did it, Superuser was gone at this point. I was the Kies samsung update to 2.3...... So I rooted it again. Ok then the phone seemed really laggy compared to what it was before so I looked into Voodoo and such tried that. Putting the file on the SD didn't work because I had S3 something about certifications. So I found something on the market that would let me flash it with software. Then the phone wouldn't boot and kept trying to loop. I got it back in download, and put what I thought was the right stuff back on the phone since I searched for hours (no lie) to try to find a complete stock set. I did a backup with that stupid flash thing I used from the market, which ended up on the SD, which for some reason is now blank when I put it in the laptop.
The software must have been wrong because it still wouldn't start. Then I found this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1307637 and decided to try that. Odin kept do what seemed nothing. It would start and see the phone try and then no progress bar everything looked like it was working and then it would hang for some reason. Next time I am never messing with this crap ever agin if this phone ever works again.
At this point I have the PH ! PC and I can't get it into download. So I found out about the USB thing I can build I think.
What do I need to get this back? I am very sorry about the long explanation, ubt I was hoping if I spent the time explaining how I goofed up, someone might take the time to answer me.

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone is able to help me out with my HTC one M7. My phone has been out of commission since Monday night and I'm all out of options on what to do, I've even tried doing a factory reset as a last resort but that didn't seem to work as it looked like the process just stalled.
Here's a bit of background of what happened: Monday night I charged my phone through the wall outlet and went to have dinner, I came back to check on the phone and it was off. I thought that was odd so when I tried turning it back on I would only ever be able to get to the white HTC logo screen. I'm able to get into fastboot and recovery but after googling solutions and trying the options people have mentioned, it still isn't working. I'm not very tech oriented so I wouldn't know how to flash ROMs or anything like that...soooo, I'm hoping someone is able to explain steps in I'm able to understandr. I don't even know flashing ROMs is possible at this point since whenever I plug it into my PC, the drivers aren't recognized by Windows and says 'failed to install drivers'.
Any help is very much appreciated!! (I signed up to the forum in order to write this and seek help lol)
I haven't done ANY customization to the phone everything is all stock from my service provider so I'm really baffled at how this sudden fail could have happened. There was no OTA update either.

Unfortunately it's not, I've had the phone for a little over 2 years now. Seriously contemplating just using a loaner phone in the meantime while I wait for the new Nexus ...

Yes, I did. It flashed to the screen with 2 green arrows in a circle and 1 downward green arrow with a progress bar at the bottom but nothing happens during this period. I left the phone like that for about 30 mins just to see if anything would happen and nothing did.
Hello guys,
I've been messing around with my Motorola Razr i XT890 the last couple of days, trying to get it "back to life".
It suddenly shut down and would get stuck on the red "M" logo, right when the animation would start (the white wavey-type of lines freeze and that is all it would do. I, myself, am not really much up to date on rooting, installing custom roms, you know; the whole developing thing (I find it interesting, it is just that I lack time to be able to learn more). Anyway, the phone got stuck and I've managed to factory reset it, after a while the phone would freeze and again get stuck on the red logo, this went on until it would not boot at all. All I got was a short vibration and the green led would light up for like one second. Using this forum I've found a solution to bring it back to the point it would get back into fastboot (Actually holding the camera button down with usb attached, install some specific drivers and then run a batch file).
At this point this is my situation:
I'm stuck on fastboot, however I turn on the phone it will get into fastboot (see attached image to see what it says)

I, for some reason, have Philz Recovery installed and tried to use adb sideload to install a few files but my biggest problem is that I'm not sure which firmware I need, I'm really confused about all the terms and what not. I'm not the type of person that pays much attention and like knows the difference between JB or KitKat or whatever. All I know is that the phone was purchased in Germany along with a contract with either Vodafone or O2 (really not sure). I have so many files and tools installed on my PC and I would like to delete everything and start from scratch. I have fastboot and adb working (except for RSDLite, for some reason it just won't recognize the device, while adb sideload did work....haven't figured that one out yet.
If any one happens to know. or can post a link for 1 or 2 versions of the firmware and help me out. Just point me in the right direction, I know my way around a computer but like I said, I've never really done much in this area
I bought a new model Motorola soon after this one crashed the second time, so it's not even about the phone itself. I kind of challenged myself to get it working again, on top of that, it was a very good phone and I got really used to it. These new big screens are too much for me so if I get it working I might actually start using it again lol.
Also thanks to all of you who put time and effort in helping people who have these kind of problems, it's a really nice community overall and I've gotten to like it and will try to spend more time learning about this. I might just help out some lost soul myself some day
PS; sry about the green lol, I actually just realized it...I just can't be bothered cropping it out
As I was typing this large portion of text below, my phone kinda just came back to life on its own.....that was really ****ing weird. Thank you all for being here for newbies, I searched for help and my phone kinda did it's own thing. first post fail. lol
"I had broken my S6 a few days ago and the screen is completely blank and no touch. Sad story because that was my 3rd one, I have had two replacements due to the battery and it being a crap phone.
Anyways, to the man subject, I had a S5 laying around that I accidentally dropped while I was factory restoring it and the battery came out. I fixed THAT boot loop two days ago and yesterday I somehow managed to do something that caused it to get stuck on the AT&T screen, again. I am a noob but I have tried several thing such as trying to update from SD, tried ODIN as suggested, but it won't detect my device whatsoever. I do not understand how this all is so confusing and nobody can seem to make one golden post to explain it all to people simply. "
