Hello. Can you help me? This is what happens:
I tried to upgrade my SGA into Gingerbread 2.3.6 ( my SGA is froyo 2.2.1) . I install ClockWerkMod 5.0.2.6 in my cellphone. It was installed successfully, but after that i go back to the recovery mode, then i stuck in the Samsung Logo and i don't know why, (my cp is already rooted).
I can go to download mode, but the problem is, 1 month ago, after installing CWMode, i decided to factory data reset to fix the problem in the recovery, and now , i cant open my SGA, i tried to flashed it in the Odin, but it says "fail", and now im so nervous, i don't know what to do, hope someone help me with my problem. Thank you

Factory reset won't recover you from recovery problem
Try:
Remove the battery for 5-10 mins. Then reboot
Code:
adb reboot
from your pc in recovery/download mode
I think that there is a problem with CWMode. I dunno what is that.
Also you need the following to flash stock ROM only on Samsung Galaxy Ace:
The files I have attached(Unzip them).
Proper Gingerbread ROM for your region(I live in India so I have Indian ROM)
Download from SamMobile
In Odin select OPS Cooper_v1.0.ops
Select all the options except Debug only.
Click 'One Package' button and select the ROM file(it is generally .tar.md5 and India's one is 238MB)
Click 'Start'
Best of Luck

i had the same problem and here is how i fix'ed it:
i made a jig tool like you and got it into download mode then installed I9000XWJM8
useing odin. you can download it from samfirmware.com.
and while the phone was boting up i used adb.
while the phone is booting up try adb shell
if you get into the shell type "reboot recovery"
and install Clockworkmod from clockworkmod install a new firmware.
hope that works
it did for me.

umm when exactly do i goto adb recovery mode ? when odin is finished with flashing and my phone goes to recovery ? and do i install clockworkmod frm adb then ???
and when in recovery mode it gives me the error .. : cant mount sdcard ... were u having the same problem ???
Your internal SD might be corrupt if you can get in to recovery after you flash and it gives you a error message it might be. If it is, it needs to be fixed by bell.
good luck
My Galaxy Ace is stuck in a reboot loop after trying to flash 2.3.6 onto it, when it had 2.3.5 on it previously.
I've used ODIN and no matter what firmware I try to flash onto it, it just goes into a reboot loop.
Any idea how to fix it?

press down home button and then power on phone ...--> you will enter into recovery mode .
select wipe with help of volume keys and there you go out of bootloop
My Galaxy Ace is also in some sorta reboot loop.
Everything was working fine with it (phone is rooted and CWM installed) until I did a phone reset because I was giving the phone to my gf. After doing this the phone reboots, the blue samsung logo plays (without sound) and then repeats ad-infinitum. I can get into recovery mode and download mode ok and I've tried wipe and even restored a CWM backup (it says it was successful) but the phone just keeps rebooting. I can see the phone in odin but I've never tried to flash anything onto it and quite frankly I'm unsure whether it would just make things worse (if it needs to go back to Samsung for repair). Any help would be appreciated...
If you have cwm ..why dont you download some custom rom like cm7and flash it ..that would bring your phone back to life ...then you can downgrade to stock rom if you want ...and btw in cwm try cache partition , clear data /factory reset and clear dalvik cache ..see if it boots after you do this ..

when i always flash by odin or by cwm i always do wipe , wipe cache and wipe dalvik, this helps me everytime
I managed to flash a firmware from samfirmware and it fixed the reboot.
Now my issue is when I connect to Kies, it says there's an updated firmware for the phone but it fails every attempt to install it. I went back to samfirmware and found this firmware: S5830ZSKPD ## but when I download and extract it there's only 1 x MD5 file and 1 x DLL file?! The other firmware had the 4 or 5 files needed to include in Odin... any ideas guys?
I think its a "one package file " ..I forgot the correct name but there is some option like that in odin ..dont worry it contains all the required files ..and if you are scared to do it then go to you tube ..there are many tutorials showing it then...

Yep, that's exactly what it was, thanks again.
Unfortunately with this firmware, Kies doesn't recognise it and provides no info.
I flashed back to the older firmware... I'll just have to keep experimenting I guess.

Well I could flash it with Odin if I had the firmware but I don't.
It appears it's not available on SamFirmware.com
Do you know where I can download the following firmware?
PDA:KPD / PHONE:KPD / CSC:KPC (THL)
Thanks
Lol I cant understand those firmwares ..can you tell me which version of android you want like 2.3.4/2.3.5/2.3.6 ...then ill be able to help you wanr

Thanks anyway but I managed to find the firmware online and flashed it using Odin.
Now Kies says I'm using the latest which is a good start : )
Now I just need to find a way to root my SGS2 GT-I9100T
U can try a custom ROM from the Developer's forums here.
I also once stucked in the Reboot Loop..............
But then I installed a custom or if you want features from a official Rom, you can install Stock Based custom ROm from the Developer forums of Galaxy Ace. Really good Rom have been made by the developers
In the chance that someone else is looking for this latest OEM firmware update:
PDA:KPD / PHONE:KPD / CSC:KPC (THL)
It can be downloaded from: http://translate.googleusercontent....flgljh&usg=ALkJrhiMpHV83dugh4RGwhKpyjIrYIgn2Q
It is in "one part file" format and can be flashed using Odin.
whatever may be the problem ......just rem to keep a backup of ur previously used rom and just flash it with cwm...
Progress?

I have rooted my S5570I with universal root I found here, and it worked, but I decided to install MIUI and I forgot to install Clockwork Recovery, so it failed, and now when i try to turn on my phone it just gets stuck on boot. But I can access download and recovery mode. When I go to recovery, it says that it's unable to mount /system. And when I try to flash stock firmware in odin (Indian firmware on phone from Croatia, I have read that it's the same, only that my phone will be named Galaxy Pop) it won't discover my phone. (It is in download mode) And also kies can't discover it. Before I try to flash in odin, I make sure that no kies processes are open in task manager. I tried to install Clockwork recovery with flashing in normal android recovery, and it says that it's complete, and when I press reboot, take out the battery, and go to recovery again, it's the same. Can anyone help?

Sirs, i'm in a tragic situation. Pls help...
I rooted my galaxy mini pop plus (s5570i with gingerbread 2.3.6) and installed clockworkmod and i successfully did complete nandroid backup. Later unknowingly i installed rzRecovery. After that my phone does not boot. It stucks at samsung android logo. I am able to enter into cwm but when i try restore my backup it says error mounting /system. Is my phone bricked? Is there any solution? Kindly help
note:
1. Odin4.3 does not detect my phone,BUT odin3 does
2. The cwm i used is not permanant. when i press vol.up+home+power it always go to stock recovery. then i have to update the file samsung_pop_plus_cwm.zip
Try to flash cwm through odin and not through recovery. I think it could be a problem if stock recovery tries to replace itself with another recovery.img WHILE ALREADY USING THIS FILE

if i try with odin it shows FAIL; another version stucks at 'Nand writing started'. Another thing when i enter into download mode there is a heading 'ODIN MODE' in red color at the top of the window. And the logo is a green android shape. is it normal??? is it the default state???
First mistake you do, is flashing a recovery that doesn't work for you device.
Second mistake is you don't read instruction really well.
So, send it to SSC (Samsung Service Center), don't act suspicious or they'll know you root your phone.
Hello everyone ! I have a samsung galaxy s3 mini i8190
I flash CM , but i didn't like it so i tried to install with odin the original firmware.
Problem: Bootloop (logo Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini reboot infinite loop)
I can't enter in Recovery Mode, only i can enter in Download Mode
I use ODIN to try to install CWM , but still don't work..
And i have another problem. When I click start (in odin) it stops at SetupConnection, but if I disconnect & reconnect (usb) it starts flashing.
Please, help me.
Try to flash stock recovery instead of CWM.

I said this in the thread. If i'm wrong, please correct me.
Your kernel is f****ed up. You need to find any rooted stock kernel, flash it with Odin and then flash CWM. You don't need whole ROM, only kernel. Happened to me a lot while I was still on SGS1.
As for connection problem, perhaps clearing all drivers from your win and reinstall them could help.

Yes you did, but I asked you to try with STOCK RECOVERY instead.
It's not always a part of the official firmware package.

Download service firmware and solve all your problems
Then just flash whatever rom you'd like.
Thanks a lot tys0n ! My Phone works now!

What if my device cant be recognised by my pc. Ive tried every pc/laptop I own with different OS. So basically I have a bootloop stuck phone with no recovery mode available and it doesnt connect to the pc. Is there any way to fix that? Or is the phone completely bricked and I cant do anything about it.
PS: I have tried installing latest samsung drivers on my pc but it still cant recognise the phone.
Have had this phone for 6 years and it was ****ing amazing. I missed this little guy and want to fix him just as a "souvenir" since it was my first ever smartphone.
