I am trying to root my galaxy s5 but I'm in training and have no access to a computer anyway to root with out computer galaxy sm 900A
Sorry
Currently there is no easy way to root without a computer. If you have updated to Android 4.4.4 then you are going to have some troubles. The towelroot app by Geohot used to work, but ever since Android 4.4.4 and possibly some earlier versions, the kernel has been rebuilt, and towelroot cannot work. If you really want it badly I'd search on how to install an older firmware. Then once it's installed, you towelroot.
So I have purchased a Teclast X98 Air II which came pre-installed with dual boot windows 8.1 and android 4.4.4.
However, the android is not rooted and I was wondering if there is a way to root it, without losing dual boot capabilities.
Or do I have to do everything from scratch?

Well that's exactly what I asked. I want to root it without losing dual boot.
Eh? I rooted it with the X98 toolbox ( http://d-h.st/9RX ) and can still boot into windows as well... (x98 air II, HG8N)
I have to press volume up while starting the tablet to choose between android and windows, but both are working fine...

From a search has anyone else achieved root in these forums?
Lol I think a lot of people will be glad with this post
I have an allwinner t3 k2001m head unit. Tried to root it for a whole day without any luck.
Just try:
Kinguser 5.2.1
or 5.1.0
Sorry Guys I would love to post the links but the stupid system won't let me do that before I do 10 posts. What do you mean they're inspiring to spam??... anyways just search google for it.
Both are older versions of kingroot and both of them worked at the first try. I have to warn you tho. I can't get to install supersu for some reason. "Su binaries occupied" And when I try with an older version of supersu, it seems like it's installing and updating the binaries but results in an error.
I did check the root with rootchecker and it shows that the root is valid. Me Myself and I are a total noob with android and rooting. So if anyone could fix that and let me know how! it would be very much appreciated.
Have a good day
with kind regards
Hello all together,
I don't know how to root a smartphone and I have unfortunately only a netbook with Windows XP.
How can I root a Motorola Moto G5 (Android 7.0) and a Gigaset GS170 (also Android 7.0) perhaps with Magisk without to need using a computer (because my netbook has the old Windows XP)?
If it's not possible to root one of these smartphones with Magisk: how else can I root them?
Own a Huawei P10
EMUI 5.1
Android 7.0
Last time I tried kingoroot and it failed. I think it maybe half way root but not completed. I left it and forgot about it. This was many years ago.
I tried kingoroot again today and it still fails (both PC & Android ways). I tried Towelroot. It just hangs.
I tried searching about P10 and seems others get same problem/issues too?
Is there any other ways to root?
