Nethunter on N? - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can I flash nethunter for mashmallow on N dev preview 2?

I don't think so. In fact I can't run any kali commands as of Android 6.0.1 r24 ?

Trying to root Nexus 7. Toolkit 5.0, Lacks 4.3 support.

I'm trying to root my Nexus 7 (2012).
I have the Nexus 7 v5.0 toolkit.
It does not have my build version 4.3. The only way I can get an update is to donate? If not, how do I manually get the update that has 4.3 support?
Does anyone have this Version 5.2.8 ?
Thanks.
I am very confused by your post. If I interpret it correctly you are saying: There is a program that I would like to use, but I have to pay for it. Can anybody give it to me for free?
Why don't you read one of the great tutorials here in XDA and root your tablet manually. For that you will not need any toolkit and ... you are improving your knowledge.

WugFresh's Nexus Root Toolkit v1.7.2 already supports Android 4.3. I have rooted with this tool.

[Q] Exposed framework

Hi all, I've just upgraded from a Galaxy Nexus to the nexus 6 (what a difference!) and I'm having trouble getting xposed to work.
I've tried it on PA alpha and Euphoria ROM, with stock / lean kernel and followed fixes here:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/nexus-6-ho...tallation-errors-list-working-modules-1488930
But I'm not having any luck.
I'm next going to try a 5.1 ROM with init.d, but I don't have a lot of time to mess around with my phone today - I'd love to hear from anyone with xposed running and what combo of ROM / kernel you're using.
Cheers!
Ross

5.1 for not work with xposed.
K,
Both the ROMs I've tried so far were 5.0 based I believe... Should I be able to get xposed working with a stock 5.0 ROM / kernel?

I got it working with 5.0.2. Even after installing leankernel you have to use the lkconfig options to turn selinix to permissive. Then flash the xposed zip. Details are in the leankernel thread on using lkconfig.
Yeah the guide I found in op goes through a lot of this. Looking at the xposed thread, I think I'm using the wrong framework zip / apk!
Thanks for your help, I'll reply when I have some time to test

CM13 - help

As I said I'm attempting to compile the CM13 for GT-S6500 jena, but I'm not a real developer (at least yet) and I'm not that familiar with Linux :/ I'm stuck on building basic cm recovery.. Device's cpu variant is cortex a5 and it tries to compile using bionic/libc/arch-arm/arm.mk but a5 isn't supported and so it tells me to use 'generic' instead. And that's my problem - I have no idea how to change tools configuration. Any help would be appreciated !
Compiling recovery... We'll see how it goes and what I've done wrong this time

[REQUEST] Custom kernel for our device

Hi everyone!
As many of you know, the stock kernel on our device is really bad. Only 4 cores are working even when you are performing heavy tasks like gaming and even in benchmarks, 4 cores are always sleeping. Only time i saw them working was when i used a CPU stresser app.
If someone was able to make a custom kernel which would utilize all 8 cores it would make our devices so much faster!
for me us faster enough, what I miss on kernel are Otg drivers

I was told it wasn't possible, whe don't have enough voltage for that (5v?) not sure tough
I think only drivers are needed

In order to compile a custom kernel, first We need the kernel sources from Huawei, and (at least for Marshmallow) they haven't released a fully working one yet.

Well, I'd switch back to lolipop if there was a custom kernel for it. Only thing i really like about marshmallow is the smaller navigation bar and permissions and I could live without those features.
