Thanks for the reply.
Under requirements both ask for rooted with recovery firmwares.
Is there a shorter way or must I downgrade first?
thanks!

[Q] How to root my xperia Z 4.4.4?

Ive recently bought a Sony Xperia Z C6603, it came with 4.2, and updated to 4.3, a month ago I updated to 4.4.4 kitkat, Id like to know how to root it since I had samsung S2 before it and rooted it, and there are some apps I really miss with root. The problem is that video tutorials and written ones talk about 4.2, so is it the same with kitkat? Also I really like the stock sony look so I dont want to flash a new rom or anything, if its the same, a good video tutorial with links would be great, sorry Im pretty noob with android rooting.

Yes. That's why I linked you to it!
It's the only way to root 4.4.4 without unlocking your bootloader.

Root Xperia Z1 C6902 android 5.1.1

Can anybody please tell me about any one click or any easy root method for xperia z1 C6902 android 5.1.1?
Or else just tell me how to downgrade my phone to 5.0.2
I am new to this forum so if i have said anything incorrect please forgive me.
And thanks in advance.
And also provide links if you know how to downgrade to 5.0.2
There is no way to directly root Z1 lolipop 5.1.1. You have to downgrade (to Kitkat 4.4.2 is the best), get your z1 rooted, install recovery then update it to pre-rooted lolipop 5.1.1
Use Xperia Flashtool to downgrade or upgrade firmware.
Thanks for the reply.
Can u list the steps and the links and
Also please tell me how can I downgrade to 5.0.2 lollipop.
no do not downgrade to 5.0.2 since its awful to root because you need to change from kingroot to supersu... just downgrade to 4.4.2 and install nut's recovery and it will root it for you in the process... then flash prerooted 5.1.1. and you're golden
Okay. Thanks for the reply.
Can you list the steps and the links?
You know I am just a little new.
Thanks in advance.

First downgrade to .108 and root it.
Install dual recovery by NUT
Download .368 prerooted zip
Flash that zip via recovery. Good luck
Thankyou everyone at the xda for helping me.
And for the reply also.

Root z3 5.1.1

Hi guys can you please tell me how to or were to look if i want to root my sony xperia z3 5.1.1 firmware 23.4.a.1.200
thanks in advance
Maybe you'll be more successful when you ask/search in the correct forum for Z3. This is Z4/Z3+, which neither has a 5.1.1 firmware, nor is it rootable without unlocking the bootloader.
Cheers
Kingroot will root the Z3 now. But as Silent_simmal said, this isn't the correct forum.

To upgrade to a newer version of Android (and enjoy Material Design), you must flash a custom ROM. Head to the Android Development section and flash a ROM that works with a locked bootloader. If you unlocked your device's bootloader, you can enjoy CM/AOSP-based ROMs. Read the OP of the thread or read THIS for instructions on how to flash. Ensure you have a saved backup somewhere and your device's battery is >50%.
Marshmallow on the Xperia Z1/s is not stable; from what I see, it'll never be.

So if I find a ROM that works with a locked bootloader, I wouldn't have to bother about the difference in Xperia Z1's model?
