Has anyone found the wireless charging accessories for this guy yet?
it's supposed to use the new wireless charging 'standard' so any pad with the same technology should work
e.g. from amazon, type in qi charger

Verizon sells the Wireless Charging Battery Cover.
I tried to paste the link but the Forum won't let me (not till after 8 posts anyways)...
Looks like the back cover is out of stock on Verizonwireless.com. Does anyone know or have heard of this cover working with a Palm Pre Touchstone? Thanks...
Well I got my wireless charging pad and back cover today. The back cover is twice as thick as the stock cover. I came from a Palm Pre so I have a bunch of touchstones. Unforunately, I can confirm that the revo wireless charing system is NOT compatible with the touchstone. The verizon charging pad seems to sense when the phone is near and turns on. The touchstone did not, so that is probably one of the problems. I measured the voltage from the back of the touchstone cover and it wasaround 5.1 Volts. I am hoping I can use the touchstone coil on the stock cover of my revo and wire the charging leads to the revo. The revo has 4 pins for charging but the touchstone only has two, so I need to find out how to wire this. i may have to go through the USB 5V connection. I love my touchstone car mount and I am really hoping to be able to use the touchstones for charging the Revo.

Also, gsxrpilot would you say the wireless charging it worth it? for the almost 100 bucks you spend on it? and does gsxrpilot mean you ride a gsxr street bike?
Well there is a deal this month where you get the back free with the pad, so $70 for both. I got a little more discount because I complained that the only reason I needed a new phone and wireless charger is because my Palm Pre stopped working. I would say that it is worth the convenience. Constantly plugging in the micro usb charger due to the low battery life gets old. Now if I can get my touchstones to work, it will really be worth it.
And yes I have a '92 GSXR-750 and love to fly RC Planes and Helis, hence gsxrpilot.

I might have to get that then. Also, that's sick. My neighbor has a 20xx dsxr 750. They are a blast to ride.
Couple of gripes about this...
I bought the Wireless charging back for my Revo and it's not compatible with the Powermat that I already have, apparently the "qi" technology works differently than the induction that the Powermat uses. It IS compatible with the Energizer power mat which uses the same "qi" technology. but you're looking at the same price for either charging base.
Secondly, the wireless charging cover is twice as thick as the stock cover so any skins or cases you want to get for the phone will not fit. My silicon cover almost fits but buldges out on the sides.
I still think wireless charging is the way to go, just a heads up for those of you who are looking into this.
Well I got my touchstone to work with my Revo! I scraped the charging coil from the back of a palm pre cover (bought 2 for less than $5), then hot glued it on the back of my stock revo cover. I had to dremel 4 holes where the metal disks were and added 2 disks per hole since the revo is heavier than the pre and more disks help it stay on the touchstone better. I now have 4 little bumps on the back of my cover. I searched everywhere for the connector that would fit in the stock cover but couldn't find it. So I wound up using magnet wire and soldering directly to the charging tabs on the coil and the top of the connectors on the phone. Didn't have to use too much solder so I could remove the wires if I wanted to go back to the verizon charger. It is nice having the stock cover back, the verizon wireless cover was so much thicker.

Any way you could post a picture? I'm interested to see if that setup would work for my powermat.
OK,I think I attached the picture correctly. I did the following:
1. Remove the charging sticker and assembly from the back of the Palm Pre charging cover. Do not use the Pixi charging cover assembly, there is a ribbon in it that cannot be re-assembled after removal.
2. I took my dremel tool and routed some space off the inside back of the cover. The revolution cover is a bit thicker than the pre cover and I was concerned it might be too thick to allow the inductive power through.
3. I also routed some indentations in the back of the cover. (see Phone Back Image) I'm not sure if this was necessary either but I had really hoped I could mount the phone vertically on the touchstone in my car like the pre so i put a second set of metal disks behind the indentations. As it turned out, the revo is much heavier than the pre so this didn't work.
4. I glued the sticker and assembly to the back of the stock cover. First I tried crazy glue which didn't work that well so I wound up using hot glue.
5. Finally I soldered magnet wire from the palm charging tabs to the wireless charging tabs. Top tab to the top charging post (there are 4 of these posts, I only used two) and bottom to bottom. The top tab and post is ground, the bottom tab and post are +5V. (see Phone Inside 2 image)
6. I snapped the cover on (there is still a small gap which I haven't quite worked out yet but it works ok). Stick it on the touchstone and it says "wireless Charging" (which is actually annoying and I thought I had figured a way to remove this notification but it came back)
Now all of my touchstones work for charging and I am not sure I will ever go back to the verizon wireless charger.

nice hack.....looks like your method could work on most any accessory case
how long would it take to charge the revo?
Charging probably takes slightly longer than through the USB port. The phone can get a little warm too but I have never had a problem. It's really convenient in the car where I glued the touchstone to my center console. If you have ever tried to drive while plugging in the tiny usb cable you will know what I am speaking about.
i just got my zerolemon, and was wondering if anyone has tried attaching the wireless receiver (for Qi charging) at the back of the battery.
Will the wireless charger pad still work over the TPU cover of the zerolemon?
I'm sure it would work if you extended the terminals so they reach. Having perseus kernel installed could help increase your charge rate, depending on your receiver and charging pad.
i know theoretically it should work but i'm concerned with the thickness of the TPU material and whether it will permit inductive charging.
has anyone here actually tried this?
There's a note 2 wireless charging thread that someone just posted in saying a Panasonic qi receiver worked with a body glove tpu case. If that is about the same thickness, then you be the judge.

Actually it does work. i Just ordered a qi receiver and pad and going to operate.
Since i am a new user they wont let me post links but if you google it "zerolemon qi" there is a guy who posted pictures on google plus and explains on how he did it..
G2 is of an impact creation on design yet if the G2 support the wireless charging, should we input a coil inside or could also have a charging case like it does as Galaxy S4 ?

WHAT?
Okay, so I'm not exactly sure what your asking. Are you thinking about a case with wireless charging built it, or a replacement back with wireless charging like the GS4? A few years ago, there were a few companies making cases with wireless charging for a few popular phones, but since the rise of the Qi standard, they have basically disappeared. Since the G2's back is not so easily removable, I doubt there will be a replacement version with wireless charging built in for the non-Verizon versions.
The Verizon version has wireless charging built in, so maybe you are wondering if it will work through a case? I have the HTC DNA currently, with an Otterbox Commuter case the wireless charging works just fine. So, I would imagine that the G2 should have the same result.
Made this wireless QI Car Charger with a small budget. Bought everything on Amazon
Sewell Direct AirStick Microsuction Tape by Sewell
eForHome Qi Enabled Wireless Charger Inductive Charging Pad Station
Nochoice Magnetic Car Phone Holder Upgraded Version (1 Magnet + 1 Ball)
Of course you can use any other wireless charger but i like the look of this one.
The microsuction tape works great with the glass back of the phone. I just bought at clear case and will try it with that and see if it will stick. I would say very similar to other wireless car chargers that cost $80.
Update:
Works great with my clear case
Galaxy S6 Edge Case, Obliq [Invisible Drop Protection] Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Cases [NaKED SHIELD][Gold Platinum]
Does not work with my other colored cases.

Have you stuck the Qi charger to the car with the magnetic mount, and then the phone to the charger with the AirStick tape?
How does the tape do with hard bumps? This looks great but I would be worried about the phone flying on bumps.

I made similar one, and actually gonna try that ball mount (better than my mount).
Anyway, the suction tape.... dropped my phone several times..
Several reasons..
1. bad contact due to my mount. (I am gonna improve this)
2. Not flat surface of the back of my phone (with the case)
3. dust on the suction tape. It looses its stickiness.
Otherwise, it works well. Pretty strong. You can clean up the dust for better adhesion.

Please let us know how the suction tape holds up with a case, i'm planning on doing the same exact thing, just waiting for my qi wireless pad. Thanks.

Is this available? I know LG said wireless charging will be available with the folio covers but all the pics I've seen match the plastic battery covers. I hope we can get ones that are leather. I personally love the brown leather.
I asked LG yesterday, still waiting for an answere

it would be non sense from LG not to release plastic and leather back with wireless charging enabled in it ....
i'm sure they will, i want this phone so bad , it's not a deal breacker for me , but i just bought an aukey luna wireless charger ...

Yeah, It would be silly for them to not include wireless charging. At the very least, they should make something we can enable; like with the S5

From what I know it's something you have to enable since it doesn't work straight out of the box, like the S6 can. You'll have to get a backplate or a wireless receiver (which is pretty much a sticker you put on top of the battery). I know I've seen these receivers for other devices, like with my S3, but I honestly don't know if there was one for the G3. If so, I don't see why someone wouldn't make one for the G4.

"wireless is out of the box on the G4, like the G3", ( it's simply not enabled by defaut ) you just need a backcover that has it , there is nothing to put on the battery to get it working , i have the G3 , it has wireless by defaut like the G4
just have a look on the net , ( google ) : check this out
this is an LG G3 back cover that enables wireless charging for US users , US G3 did not come with it by defaut , international ones yes ( D855 )
the G4 only has NFC by defaut , that's why i'm guessing LG will make a leather and plastic back with wireless charging as well , like they did on the G3

It's a separate back cover. When it's built in, it literally works straight out of the box, no separate case or whatnot is needed to add to it, isn't the case with the G4.
It has the pins, from pics I've myself seen (see link below), like my S3 has so you can enable it with those special back covers and receivers.
http://m.pocketnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-Review-Performance.jpg
Perhaps some places are offering the wireless back cover when you get the device, but this doesn't apply to all, so not by default. Unless you luck out with that kind of deal, you will have to spend the extra money if you want to actually use wireless charging on this device.

I have wireless charging on my VZN LG G2. When charging the battery/phone gets a bit hot. As I noted above it looks like the folio is only plastic. I wonder if LG thinks the leather will dry out or not stand up to the heat... or maybe the leather back with the stitch won't stay on the charger (it falls off)?

how long til the phone begins to heat up?
No long. Just surfing the net gets it warm.
I can say that the current circle case does not have the charging circuit in place. This is a unit that snaps over the current back rather than replace the back cover. Seems sprint, best buy are selling a Circle case and telling people it supports the wireless charging. Even sprints insert in the the clam shell says so. Either way $50.00 for the non NFC/Qi case seems really high.
wireless charging through folio leather backed G4's
I can only speak from personal experience, here in the UK experimenting with QI chips purchased on eBay for a few pounds each for my LG G4. Using the genuine LG QI foldable charger I have had no problems getting my handset charging with the original plastic backs, once the contacts on the chips were aligned correctly. I can not however get my handset charging wirelessly with a chip fitted to the genuine LG leather back, the problem seems to me to be that the leather backs are slightly thicker than both the standard plastic backs and the quick circle back, meaning the sender and the receiver are further apart, all be it only a couple of millimeters this seems to make the difference between success and failure regarding charging wirelessly. If with either quick circle case or plastic back fitted I place a few pieces of card between the back of the phone and the QI charger to simulate the increased thickness of the leather back, charging stops.
How is your experience with qi and leather cover?
I've bought some cheap reciever sticker which didn't work with the cheap 1 coil charger pad. But with 3 coil pad it was possible to charge it for some days. But since some days I don't get any conncetion even with 3 coil.
I've read qi is for 5 mm distance only acc. to standard and I think distance in real may be a bit higher. But this doesn't explain why it worked some time with 3 coil and later on not. Is it possible that I have destroayed the receiver? I've tried to re-positionthe sticker several times (because NFC didn't work), but I don't see any damage.
Only the receiver itself was sticked to the cover, I didn't usw the additional sticker with alu foil. May have this caused some damage?
Meanwhile I've ordered a plastic cover with built-in qi receiver. If this is working long time I'd like to order leather with built-in qi receiver, but only if you could confirm that leather and qi receiver is working since more than a few days.
Just so you know, I had 1 of those plastic covers with built-in qi receiver, but beware the quality... I found it was affecting the NFC function (we use it for public transport here) and to some extent WiFi... switched back to stock back and those issues were gone
