Whaaaat!?? Yet another battery app! yeesh!
Hey, don't be like that. This time its different. It's not about making your phone charge faster or extend battery life. This time, it's about STOP charging your battery.
Want to stop charging your Android phone's battery when connected to Computer USB?
You are a developer that often connect their phone via USB and don't want the battery to suffer?
Disable USB Charging will disable usb charging (obviously...). Allowing you to connect your phone via USB without straining your battery again and again and again.
---
Roadmap
Automatically disable USB Charging at 80% battery. And automatically enable charging when its < 80% battery.
Better user interface for tablet.
Support for disabling charging on Quick Charge device (dunno it already works or not, i have not tested it).
Force Enable charging on tablet when connected to low-power USB charger.
.... please add...
---
Please mention your device, Android version, and ROM if it's not working for you. Thank you.
Best app 2k16, thanks a lot! Working fine for my Huawei Honor 5X.
Update: Doesn't seem to work on my Moto G 2013 (falcon). Any idea why?

Hi all - does anyone know if it's possible to connect the N1 to a PC (to do adb, shell etc) without charging the battery? Reason for question is, I am trying to do some kernel/configuration benchmarking and do not wish to skew the battery usage/uptime figures too much! (fairly theorhetical question, I guess, as I realise accessing the N1 via USB could itself use battery)
I don't believe there is a way to do that. the only way I could think of is to get a usb that can only transfer data and not a charge for the battery.

Cut up your USB cable and clip the wire attached to pin 1.
Caveat: I haven't tried this but it's certainly possible.
There is such a thing as un-powered usb ports. However, I believe the name is misleading, as in reality they are simply low powered (if memory serves correctly). However, it might be worth looking into if you can't successfully clip the power as in the previous post.

An unpowered USB hub will still pass power. It just gets a maximum of 5v from the computer so you can't power multiple devices that actually need any substantial amount of power.
A powered USB hub just makes sure that all of the ports get their full 5v.
Hi
I don't know if people realise this but you can modify a generic car charger to automaticlly activate the Navi Panel mode so you don't need to buy the SU400 kit.
You will need a car charger that is capable of suppying 1 amp, to enable fast charging. ( Use an app called Spoon Charge to check) or disassemble the USB Micro A plug and ensure Data- and Data + are soldered together. DO NOT solder Data - and Data + togehter if not already done so this means the device is not capable of supplying 1amp.
If so you should have a unused pin ( this is called the ID pin) solder this along with Data + and Data - to OV.
When the charger is connected it will launch Navi Panle if enabled and turn on bluetooth and pair to a set device.
I will take a pic of the modded plug and post it up. In theory I would assume the same mechanism is used on more than this device.

OMG LEGEND bro. lol. Finally someone figured out HOW to do this so you don't have to buy that overpriced HD2 carkit. Thanks. Mod's this should be a sticky.
mods seriously this should be front page news
Are you sure, that this will work? Did you tried it yourself? Cause my CU-S400 is also activaiting the Navipanel even if i don't have plugged in the Charger! So I think that it hasn't anything to do with the mAh-size of the charging unit....
You're right.
Right connections for recognition Car Kit Mode :

Most probably a hardware issue. You might want to get it to the nearest Samsung Service Center and get the USB Port (or whatever you call it) replaced
I tried to fix the USB port. I teared down my mobile until I got the USB port in my hands and put the pcb under my microscope. I saw a corroded connection from the port to the motherboard. But I don't have a proper solder unit to repair that. So I tried with my big fat soldering iron....and killed one connection. I managed to repair that, so I have the same faulty mobile as before. My next try will be a wireless charging mod (with parts from a palm mobile).
But I bought a spare I9000 already for 50 Euros......
My Samsung Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070) suddenly auto shutdown whenever i turn it on. I have tried flashing stock firmware using Odin but it didn't helped. Seems like the only thing i can do is booting phone in the download mode. And as i already told, i flashed stock firmware but nothing happened and it's still performing the same as before.
I hope you people understood the problem clearly. However, if you need any further information, please ask and i will answer you.
Regards
Does it work when plugged into a charger? The battery might be failing as it's probably old already.

When i plug it into a charger, it auto restarts (restart loop).
It also happened to me. The way, I repaired this, is a connnecting a external battery charger e.g.

You mean, all i have to do is charging the battery 100% in an external charger?
Yes, that's it. Sorry for late reply.
So i just changed my ROM from android Pie to android 10+, the ROM is Pixel Experience
I have this issue where my phone charge so slow if i use then phone while charging, but it seems that it charge normally if i don't use the phone (it was different when i was still on Pie). From what i see that the maximum curr when i use the phone while charging is only 480mA (i cheked it with ampere and it stays on 480mA for a long time). I don't think 480mA is considered as "charging rapidly" but it says charging rapidly on my lockscreen. Is there any way to fix this? or to remove the limitation of 480mA? is it a bug or a new feature on android 10 which helps our battery life?

And another thing is the battery indicator on one of my game (toram online) shows that the battery still on 50%, yet on my status bar it says under 20%
had this bug after using havoc os 3.9 for a few months it persisted even after changing roms and installing vasrious versions of stock roms, after getting frustrated and feeling defeated i went to xiaomi service centres, they changed the charging sub-board and it dint help, after a motherboard replacement it started working fine again but it came back again and i just gave up on this phone , let me know if you find the solution
REDUCE BATTERY TEMPERATURE BELOW 38 % AND IT SHOULD BE 1000.
REDUCE IT BELOW 34 AND YOU CAN SEE 1500+.
For Me its showing 100-120 and charging slowly although charger is charging above 1500 for other devices at home (mia1)
