Thank you!
Any chance of making a flashable stock kernel for G900I as well...?
Thank you ☺?
How do you flash it if it's not a .md5 file? (Newbie question)
Thanks. Are you using this with g900f firmware? Because there updates are newer i think. How do you install it to. I am allways confused by all the different file types.

Hello,
I want to downgrade my phone from CM10.1 on an original Gingerbread ROM. First I have flashed a 2.3.4 version of DarkyRom. Now I want to have a stock firmware for my Galaxy.
All files that I could find were damaged. (Unpacked with 7ZIP and WinRAR). Then I found a T-Mobile branded version 2.3.6, but I hung permanently fixed in Bootloop.
What version can you recommend me and can you give me a three-part firmware?
Thank you very much
greeting
Julian

Hey,
Just checking, did you flash in a file called dbsdata.rfs.tar? That fille is essential when downgrading from CM9/CM10/10.1 because of different data partitions and so on. If you don't flash it in the phone ends up in a bootloop...
Try flash in dbsdata.rfs.tar (you can get it from so many places) then flash it in via Odin, then report back
Hope I helped

Nope due to partition format and layout changes. No new ROM uses the Samsung format or layout

Hello guys. I'd like to install international rom (G925F) on my phone by odin. My current rom is G925A. I will use the phone outside of the US. Do I have a chance to install the international rom after unlocking the phone?
You can install the xtrrstolite ROM from the s6 unified development section. It is international based. You can choose edge features, no Odin needed

how are you installing that rom? I tried using flashfire and it does not work.

can you link the specific site from which you were able to do this? I can't find any site that has all the files...
Dears,
I would appreciate your advice on whether I could safely flash n920i firmware on n920c variant.
Both are international versions, one is gulf (n920c), another is possibly europe?!? (n920i)
Anybody tried that?
Thank you and Best Regards.
Alain.
via odin not possible but a custom rom can work for you

I want update my KitKat 4.4.2 to stock Lollipoop 5.1 or 6.0.1 Marshmallow but OTA has not updated by country restriction.
I´m not Root user.
1-) Is dangeours update? Can I downgrade if it would not work?
2-) Which method is better ODIN or other?
3-) Which android´s version 5 or 6 better works in this phone?
4-) Any tutorial? I have seen http://forum.xda-developers.com/att...w-to-update-to-g900aoi5-5-1-unrooted-t3235774, it works in my phone?

if you know someone in the states, send it to them and let them do it and send it back
You should just be able to download the firmware and flash through Odin. It will update everything for you. The only problem is it will factory reset your device. So backup everything. Once you update to 5.0 or above, you can not flash back to KitKat. Just unzip the file, open Odin, click ap, find the file, then flash.

Thanks for yours reply.
I don´t know anyone in us.
If I change android rom, Must I change kernel and modem?
To update ROM, the baseband is: G900AAUCU2ANG3, what rom is compatible? Or the baseband doesn´t matter?
Can I install this in my phone and my baseband?

Yes. It's only one file. It takes care of kernel and modem. You don't have to do anything else besides flash the one file.

OP,
You will not be able to update the smg900a as long as you are on a network other than at&t . I have the same model and it came with kit kat .
I used this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/att...w-to-update-to-g900aoca-5-0-keeproot-t3076803
Please be sure to back up your info . You can use your internal storage if you dont have a SD card to store the two files.
Good luck.
Thanks
I could do with ODIN and this files: http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/g900aucs4cpa2-odin-files-em-hot-t3372388
My phone works very good.

Hi guys, can some one please help me find it?
You can download firmware with SamFirm and checked Binary Nature. Thus you have 4 files in firmware's zip.
