Hi all,
New here so please excuse if i post in wrong place.
Need some desperate help. Just got my xiaomi note pro this afternoon after much awaiting. Looks to be a great phone but seem to run into a issue already. Opened the camera app and took some still pictures which come out great. Switched to video mode and there seems to be some flickering almost like lines down the screen. HELP!!!!!!!
Just spend over £250 and owned it for less than 20min and discovered this. Please can someone shed some light and help me out as i am new to this. Always used Android but its been samsung touchwiz. MUI is all new to me.

Hello Community,
I have actually just a short question. I have got an offering for touch HD for only 150€. The owner says the functionality is still given but after a ROM Update the background keeps black so it seems the lighting broke after the ROM update. However what I would like to know is, if this can happen and if there is any chance to get that fixed with less effort.
Or is this just a bad try of the seller to get my money
Thx for your help
Iv never hued of this happening, but i could be rong
i would put it down to the seller just trying to get money and the blacklight was broken in some way

ROM update shouldn't cause this, sounds more like a digitizer/main board issue.
Hi guys!
I've been experiencing this 'issue' (I really don't know how to call it) for a while now; it's going to be more than five months since I have the Z with me (I'm a really happy costumer and I don't know precisely when it started, so I'm expecting for your fresh view on the subject
When in the Camera app, sometimes, it looks like the camera is really making an effort focusing, leading to a 'pop' (or 'tac') sound, like if the lens just jumped in there. I don't really know for sure, what's causing this. Not mentioning I'm kind of embarrased if this turns out to be a REALLY dumb question
Hope you guys can clarify my mind on this.
Cheers!

Hey guys...
I took a picture of myself indoors with flash and I am beside myself in utter disbelief. LG took away dual LED that was so awesome on the G3 and I can't help but wonder... who's the genius that thought this was a good idea??? Close range shots of people with flash makes them look like they have a severe case of jaundice and are about to throw up. Taking the same photo with a G3 or even a Galaxy S5 yields normal looking skin tone. What amazes me is that after a few days of searching, I've only been able to find at most 2 mentions of this. Has no one else noticed how badly yellow/green tinted flash pictures are with the G4?
Are there any fixes / adjustments? Any chance Marshmallow might address color balance to help with this situation? I must be missing something because I can't fathom LG making such an obvious oversight because I'm sure there had to have been some thought and argument around removal of the 2nd LED. I can't facepalm myself enough... although I really truly hope I'm wrong.
Anyone?

Hello. I come with a little weird problem. I hope someone can advise me in fixing this. 2 weeks ago I caught a second s8. Android 7.0.
Well, nice and cheap. He has a problem with the cameras. That at first I thought. You buy a camera is mounted and ready. Well, nothing further
When starting the camera, in the best of cases it takes about 20 seconds to start the cameras and everything works fine.
Front or Rear. But 80%, it gives me camera error or unknown error.
What I did:
Delete data from the application .. data and data
Factory reset
Change rear camera with a new one
Update from android 7.0 to 8.0.
Testing with other camera applications ...
Rare is that iris recognition, quite well not 100% but almost always starts.
The only thing I have left to try is to change the front camera. But I doubt it .. any suggestions ????
Thanks in advance..

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device.

Hi guys,
first of all, it is my first time on xda, so sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section. Also, I have tried to find if somebody else posted the same issue, but with no luck. Secondly, sorry for my bad english, not my first language.
Back to business. I recently purchased a S10e, Exynos since I live in Europe. I noticed that when brightness is at maximum, I can see sort of a rectangle in the lower part of the screen. I use night mode along with all-black wallpaper, so it is particularly evident.
You can see it in imgur, the address is /TUvNYBq (can't share the whole link being a new member).
Is it a common problem to all the S10es? It doesn't bother me that much, unless it means that my screen is somehow defective - in that case is there any risk that the issue will get worse? should I return it?
Thank you in advance for your time!

I think you have screen burn in. No real way to fix that. To prevent it, just don't keep your phone screen on a lot and or don't keep brightness real high for long periods of time.

But is it possible to have burn-it after just 2 days of sporadic use?

Oh... well definitely not after 2 days. Did you get it used or new? If used, then the previous owner must have caused it. If new, then you might have a defect and you should return it for another.
