[APP][PORT]Facebook Home Launcher

Hello Guys!!!
This is the port Facebook Home for our devices.Fully Working!!!
Instruction:
1.Download the attached files
2. Extract the rar files on ur pc or smartphone matter where u downloaded it...
3. You will find 3 .apk apps ( copy des apps to ur sd card, if download it on ur pc)
4. uninstall the facebook and fb messenger with do wiping caches as well.
5. Install the extracted .apks
6. Login the Facebook App.
7. Run The Facebook Home n NJOY...
Only for Android 4.X
P.S.
You need to download all the files and put it in the same folder

Did you activate home from facebook settings. Log on to facebook go to setting at very bottom activate it.

Works! Not sure I like it though...

I found out that with Facebook home if you set your other (whichever your using) launcher (I use Nova) instead of fb home as you permanent launcher ans still leave fb home active then it takes the place of your lock screen. Looks really nice.
Well it works for me on Ice Cold 8.8 and worked for me as well on Open Kang. So I see no reason why it should do the same with all other roms though I haven't tried a Sense rom lock screen.

Facebook Home replaces the Sense lock screen. That seems to me not very comfortable.

It was just an idea for those who would like fb home but don't want it as their default launcher. Also you do know that the lock screen is not for security purpose unless you PIN it. Its purpose is to just lock phone from mistakenly activating any apps or butt dialing. So there really is no reason for anyone to feel uncomfortable about it.

Just wondering how much juice this thing will suck out of the battery? I'm guessing it will be a hog...

Just installed it for a longer look this morning. It really grows on you. I normally don't spend a lot of time w/ Facebook so this is a great way to see updates.

Very good. As for the ROM?

I've used the UNOFFICIAL CM10.1 JellyBean Nightlies / M-series and it is simply the best for my Inspire. The nightly builds for ALL of the JB ROMS seem to mess with GPS or Bluetooth, so I just gave up on them entirely. I'm a flashaholic and try everything, but this is the daily driver... No bugs

Emojs

Ok,so ive searched and searched trying to find out how to use emojis(iphone style)on a stock Jellybean 4.2.2 htc one(not rooted),and all it comes up with in search is ROMS.I have the standard emoji faces,but after the iphone style (buildings,animals,etc).I was using Chompsms,which had a plugin for emoji,but chompsms was using 30% of my battery life a day.Ive downloaded and tried installing a few off the Playstore,but they still dont show up.Can someone suggest something?Am i doing something wrong?This is my first Android phone,so please be gentle.Any advice would be appreciated

There's an emoji keyboard in the play store. It's a piece of crap though and it sucks to have to change keyboards back and forth.

Try Textra with the associated free emoji plug in. It has all the iphone emojis and works fine for me.

I had the chompsms app(also made by Delicous inc),but it was destroying my battery life for some reason.I also had the emoji plug in for chompsms,which would be the same as Textra.I was hoping there would be a setting.somewhere that would enable native Emoji,without rooting or require different roms and/or crappy,half done play store apps

I second TextraSMS. Aside from the native CM10.2 messaging app, it's the best one I found in the Play Store.

Okay speaking of the native CM messaging app, would it work to just grab the messenger.apk and install it as a system app in a stock based rom? Or is that crazy talk?

Twitter integration with sense 5.5 (viperone 3.1 RC2)

Hi all!
Does someone has this problem that Twitter can't be authorized to the use in htc BlinkFeed? If I try from the BlinkFeed settings I can't authorize Twitter, if I try from the General settings it doesn't work at all.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?

You on the Beta of Twitter? If so, it doesn't interact with HTC Sense so won't work in BlinkFeed

Not using a Beta, uninstalled Twitter and reinstalled it from Google Play but it is still not working.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Twitter (though I think a clear data would probably work too)
Did NOT open the Twitter app or add a Twitter Account through settings
Instead I went into Blinkfeed -> Topics and Services -> Services & Apps and clicked on Twitter
Get prompted to enter uesrname and password
Then get the Authorize Twitter for HTC Sense screen et viola Twitter is back in Blinkfeed

It worked for me, thank you very much!

App folder with shortcut? (No Widgets!)

Hello!
I am using the smart launcher pro, which doesn't have the folder support I desperately need!
I have tried half of the apps on the play store, but they are all old and have the Damn menu 3-dot at the bottom when i open the folder, which is really annoying!
Also it doesn't support Widgets on the front page so I need an app that can open the folder via a shortcut
I am using 4.4 Play Edition

Hi, I'm the developer of Smart Launcher. Some hours ago I released a new version of SL Pro that allow to create folder in the flower, the update is rolling out and if you didn't receive it yet, probably it will come tomorrow, just wait

What is HTC apps app for?

What is HTC app for when I use it it tells me no apps installed but there is have stock Rom phone locked and not rooted. I was hoping to download the HTC voice recorder app as I uninstalled it by accident have tried side loading it but it won't install.

Can't download using your link and if it's voice recorder app already tried to install it it doesn't work. Also want to know what HTC apps app actually does because I thought it was for downloading HTC apps but it seems to do nothing but take up space on my phone.

I ask HTC support they replied it associated with BlinkFeed & some said associated to getting OTA update file

Thanks for that have voice recorder app installed again as for HTC apps app not needed especially when it says no HTC apps installed haha any way thanks for the help :thumbup::beer:
