Stock MM, rooted/Xposed/TWRP.
If I leave my phone sitting face up on my desk, sometimes the screen will come on for about 1-2 seconds for no apparent reason. It's not a full wakeup, because the screen times out really quickly.
It seems to be random, it only seems to happen a couple times a day.. honestly it's usually in my pocket so I wouldn't see it, so I'm not really sure how often it happens. So far it's happened twice in the 4 hours or so I've been sitting here.
I have all that "wave-over" stuff turned off.
I seem to remember it happening with LP too.

I've had some issues with my Tilt, mostly locking up during incoming calls, and strange battery behavior. When I would get an incoming call, I'd have close to a 50% chance of the phone app locking up. The "pop-up" displaying the incoming call would just stick there, and I couldn't answer it, and could no longer use the phone app, though other apps would seem to still work. The only solution would be to soft-boot. The other issue I've had has been sporadic battery drain... I sit the phone on my dresser at night, and sometimes it would only lose about 8% from the time I disconnected it from my pc the night before (thereby having a full charge), and sometimes it would lose four times that much. You can tell if its in one of it's battery drain moods because the phone is warm to the touch. It's as if sometimes something just starts using the processor and draining battery, unprovoked by me. One day it went into a huge spiral like this, staying pretty warm, loosing over 10% an hour, even after a soft boot. It eventually fixed itself before going dead, I think after connecting it to the pc.
One other thing that has never really worked is XpressMail. Got it all set up, and it would work with manually invoked send/receive, but "push" never really worked except for once or twice. I didn't think much about it, as it never really worked well on my previous phone. So I hadn't even used xpressmail in quite a while, until the other day when I needed something I knew was in my email. So I did a manual send/receive, and it downloaded a ton of email, as expected (since I hadn't done that in a while). But the strange thing is, after that manual send/receive, xpressmail has started working correctly (I'm getting mail "pushed" reliably), AND my phone app hasn't' locked up, AND I haven't had any strange batter life issues. It's better than it ever has been (losing about 25% a day with light usage).
It's only been a week since that happened, so I hate to jinx myself, but so far it appears that perhaps xpressmail has somehow just been bunged up ever since I got the phone, causing other problems, and somehow magically fixed itself during a forced send/receive. Anyone else have a similar experience?
I've found my Nook Color three times awake when it shouldn't be... At least two of those times I had unplugged it from the charger and hadn't opened it up at all, just basically unplugged it and took it with me to work. The third time I'm not sure, but seems like it just happened in the middle of the day for no reason.
I've also found my wifes NC doing this, except hers I found the battery was dead.
Anyone else seeing this happen?

Yes, I had the same problem which caused mine to completely run down the battery this past weekend and as luck would have it I did not have my charger with me for the entire weekend.
But I had seen it on before when taking it out of my bag after traveling and knew that it was being caused by the fact that I had changed the wifi sleep in "spare parts" from Android default to Never.
Not sure if that is what is causing this issue for you, but you may want to take a look and see what your current wifi sleep setting are.
I changed it back and have not had that problem for that past couple of days.
I've had this happen a few times. My defense against this is to manually lock it before putting it down, or into a bag.

Good point, I need to look... I don't think i changed the wifi sleep policy, but could be. My other idea is that maybe Setting Profiles is hanging it, but... Dunno.

Yeah, this seems to be a workaround.. Open the cover (mine lives in its cover), unplug, unlock, then turn off the screen. Seems good then. Just seems like that initial screen on when power is unplugged makes it stay awake sometimes.
I've also noticed something, although unrelated to this I think... When plugged in the device is always awake, even with the screen off. The Uptime widget has a "Wake on" or "Wake Percent" widget as well, and it's awake the entire time it's plugged in. Ah well.
Well I finally realized what was causing my Nook to wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and not go back to sleep; Titanium Backup! I had scheduled it to back up Wed/Sun at 3am, and sure enough the last two times it woke up and subsequently died overnight was at that time.
There is a preference to change the behavior of sleep during operations called WakeLocks Mode, so I've tried the "CPU Awake" vs "Screen awake" option just to see what happens.
So hopefully that helps, and at least I know what the deal is now. If the options in Ti Backup won't fix the issue I'll ask the developer, he might be able to to do something.
EDIT: Yep, this did fix the problem. No waking up to dead Nook Colors in the house anymore now.
I've been ROM-free for months now ever since this problem started but alas! Not even returning it to the stock using Sony's repair thing fixed it.
My phone has been rebooting at random moments and whenever I'm lucky enough to see it on, the battery status always changes. For example, I've recently charged it then put it in my pocket for a couple of hours, when I check it, I see the Sony Ericson logo and when it turns on the battery has completely gone from 90 to 20 something if I'm lucky and 3% or so if I'm not. This problem is often found when: I've left it in my pocket for even the slightest period of time, when someone's calling me (I can't even answer calls for more than a few seconds now because it always dies on me), and other random moments.
If it helps, the battery seems to be on fire every time it reboots itself. Thanks for any helpful suggestions and even for just reading.
Hi, it's been two week or so that I'm using my moto x and I love it. However some issues make me sad, 1- it drain fast even in standby mode, for example at nights it drains more than 15 percent of its juice. 2- moto display is a charming function, but it turns the display on by any noise or movement, mostly when I'm driving, both driving mode turned on or off.
Anyone has the same problem here?
Similar thing happening with mine XT1092 as well.
Things were better before the Lollipop upgrade but after the update, phone has started waking up randomly on random noises, happens atleast 4-5 times a day.
Sometimes it feels like it gets allergic to some particular environment/atmosphere and ends up waking up 5-6 times in a row within 15-20 minutes.
Did anyone find any solution to make Moto Voice wok in more efficient, accurate and speedy?
Recently, my phone has started running really hot in some circumstances, and the battery runs down really quickly.
Additionally, when the battery gets down to 21%, the phone immediately shuts down and then takes 10-15 minutes, at least, to charge enough that I can boot it back up.
I had a One XL that started experiencing similar issues after a year or two. Do these phones seriously only last that long?

i had no problems with my battery so far, might be worth checking what app is using the battery or accessing the web. I found thats where the most usage occurred.
Oh, it's only while I'm actually doing stuff with my phone, it doesn't just happen in the background. If I leave the screen off, I'm fine. But if I watch videos on YouTube, say, the phone gets so hot it's painful to hold, which wasn't happening before.
Plus the phone shutting off at 21% battery. Which would previously last a good 15-20 minutes, at least, even using it a bit.

i would contact HTC. Since its hardware failure, they usually fix for free (at least in UK) even off warranty.
it could be more than just battery...
