[UPDATE]
Does't work, It is late for me right now, will post fix later. Problem is program wont use .bin files, only .mbn files, so I need to figure that out, and find a way to get the partition table from a working d415, if not possible to get from the kdz. sorry fro the false sense of hope.
cant wait
Any hope...?

Alright, I started work on a C++ Project that i will see if I can reprogram the phone with. Hopefully, I can use the interface to access the "READ ONLY" part of the phone, erase it, then write to it the KDZ file. And honestly, if this works it could probably be modified for any phone that is hard to unbrick. Though I will tell you now it will probably take a while but I will maybe figure something out. No gaurentees. Though I will try.

Ok guys i have heard lots of Qualcomm 9008 device bricks. I have an idea to fix it. Dont know if it is possible.
First of all refer to this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/fix-unbrick-lg-g3-stuck-qualcomm-hs-usb-t2933853
There is a possiblity to write all parts but board diag doesnt work with G4.
I also have Nubia Emmc Write tool. But when i tried to flash rom from exrracted it needs xml file. I think this XML files refers to rom parts on chipset addresses.
So if someone can post or send me kind a file like this or a board diag which is supported with G4 there will be huge possiblity to test.
Please let us know what you think.

I think to find those files to repair via emmc pinouts you need octoplus jtag pro this box give new update for lg g4s dead boot repair
but we want this repair via usb cable as i heard that someone repair it via usb cable in my country but don't really know how
So this was our hope that it was repair by usb cable
I think we want to make some hard work for finding those files to repair this
With my opinion
We need following files to repair this phone
1st msm8992 emmc ddr.mbn
2nd msm8992loader.hex
3rd our phone's rawprogram.xml and some sbl1 files
1st file was shared by someone in xda forum this file is from another phone but same emmc

I think the only solution is jtag
some device supported it
Hi My phone got bricked LG G4 LS991.
I am about to buy octopus box LG with no-JTAG support will this help me to sort my issue or I need a JTAG one?
Here is the ZV6 LS991 Dump file.
http://www.gsm-file.com/index.php?route=download/confirm&dl_file_id=4035
I have a US991. I am able to create the file system on SD card and the phone while turn on and say Secure Boot Error 1006 and OFFICIAL underneath. I messed around for a while and made it change to LGE AndroidNET USB which does not show boot looping screen, but I can't replicate that again yet on my SD card.. I can do this with the LS991 dump and the files from a KDZ as well. I'm not sure what else to do? The trick here is to create the phones boot loader/file system on an SD card then insert it into the phone so you can get into download mode and flash.

HI, they are working on this I think......in this thread......with some success.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/help/unbrick-lg-g4-h811-9008-qualcomm-t3456421
It seems like you have an idea of what is going on.. I guess the idea is to have the proper DUMPS from all the variants.
What do you think about their progress? I think about their progress? Is it related to your suggestions and problems with your LS991? I think they are suggesting to make available all variant dumps.

Hello guys if you have a hard bricked lg l90 d415 this could be your last fix... If you dont have hardbricked lg l90 d415 i would like you to send me txt partition file (of lg l90d415)if possible cmon we can fo this together
I wish I could help but I don't have a D415. How does one get the partition txt file to send to you? Did you try to extract if from kdz?
This was my idea all along. My friend and I might work on a program to extract the partition file and work it into a .txt format to use. Will give more info later.

Hello everyone,
Im new at Rooting, but I'm good at following instruction from videos, forums, and whatever I get my hands on. I have an LG G4, that I recently rooted. There are some issue with Root, and some applications I cant run (like snapchat- I had tried with Rootswitcher and Magisk but failed).
I followed instructions from several videos and forums here at Xda-Devs. But nothing seems to work. I have download multiple firmwares but everytime i get an error. the lgflashtool14 goes up to 9 % and there is some logs in my phone, but everything stops.
Also I want to mentioned that this are the steps that i rooted
Please any help will be appreciated, I want to go back to stock. :fingers-crossed:
Edit : I have tried all variants of the firmware, some they not even get stuck they say " contact administrator "

I know snapdragon is bl locked but I thought I could possibly do something besides hard brick lol. You cannot debrick. What does your phone do?
EDIT: you probably are not bricked anyway. Actually you might be bricked if you flashed stock rev1 firmware instead. That would brick you...

Long shot but... qfil / firehose msm8998 is the way to go with this. Can be done, the hard part is getting the firehose programmer (and maybe rawprogram0 / patch0 xmls too)
Isnt it supported by Z3x / Sigma / Infinity / Octoplus?
Doesnt that "aryk" site have a load of programmer files that could work with your device?
Failing that, JTAG / EMMC flash (pinouts should be around somewhere)
Sorry can`t be more help. I`m working on a similar issue with a Moto Z2 play atm
EDIT: I`m sure the 835 (what you have) supports booting from the SD card.
You need to ask someone with a rooted Snapdragon N8 to make a copy of the first 167(ish) MB of mmcblk0
Like this... (Brief idea... whoever does this needs to do it obviously from shell, on the device itself wether thats from TWRP shell or ADB in *nix / Win thats up to you)
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/Loader.img bs=1024 count=168960
Once some kind soul has done this for you and you have downloaded it, write the resulting image to decent SD card using Win32diskimager, place in device and try booting. See if the bootloader runs enough to get you into ODIN.
YMMV but it is a recovery method for Snapdragons. Weather you overwrite EFS / Lose IMEI I don`t know. Only just getting back into Sammy scene.
It is kind of like a failsafe incase of EMMC corruption I think.
I can`t help with this sadly as I`m Exy

Maybe look around your area and see if you can find someone with big passion for problem solving.
Just got my Note 8. But I remember hard bricked phones in the past brought back to life with jtag devices. Anyone try Jtag device or gotten Jtag service done to hard bricked Note 8?
Last tax season was supposed to buy 1, but car issues. I know they're expensive. But if they can fix phones with ease. Then well worth it.

I have unbrick files for flashing qdl9008 mode for bootloader rev 2.
If you are on samfail v2 or v2.5 maybe ot the normal rev 2 bootloader they should work.
Let me know if you need them.
