xposed- just not a fan. It affects performance
Restores from anything - not a fan of Tb either. It creates issues also.

Take the app/apps you want to add from the zip and place it in the correct "Add_apps_flashable" folder Then flash in TWRP. These will all work correctly as long as the app has all the extra apps needed. It'll be your job to figure out what's needed.
Add_apps_flashable
V1_Removed_apps
710_init.d_Kernel - Already included in the ROM.
810_initd_kernel
I need boot.img for any other S2's that want init.d support. Pulled from the .tar or from TWRP. As long as it's boot.???, it'll work. So don't worry about the extension.

I need some feedback on this also. Especially if you HAVE NOT Odin'd M yet. M Is so new that I"m still trying to figure it out.
Make sure you read the OP and post #2. As I will not help you if you didn't follow directions posted. At least until I get a stable base.

This should not be a request or anything.
I just wanted to ask of there are any possibilities for a t715 version as it is already available and the "for now" in op left me thinking.
Thank you

I was on Neek PB1, I did a full wipe except internal and external storage. After flash this first releace, I got a bootloop. I'm going to try again.

Possibly? I'm gonna try and get all the roms together if I can. But the different markets may make that too difficult and time consuming.
The nice thing is we ALL seem to be getting 6.0.1. Finally all of us on the same Android.
I need to find out some things first, as my attempt at the 815 hasn't been working. That might be in my end. Give me some time.

Yes I have, but a did a FULL WIPE, it must not remain after that. I tried again with just a factory reset after flash my PB1 nandroid backup. NADA. Bootloop again. I checked MD5 checksum of the file and they match again what a android file host says. I'm going to do again, this time, formating DATA besides the full backup. I will keep you posted.
UPDATE: No luck. Even formating DATA. Bootloop.

Apparently this ROM is based on the UK version, so am I correct in assuming that 5g wifi doesn't work?

@JekyllInside @Broncos15 since you are the only 2 I know of with issues installing this out of 21 DL's so far, here's what I need you to do/follow:
1. Make sure your TWRP is 3.0.0.2 - the most current.
2. Remove your ext sd card, and put the ROM on int sd so you can install it.
3. In TWRP, select "Wipe", "Advanced", and select /cache, /data, /system, and /dalvic
4. Install the ROM
If it bootloops, gets stuck, what ever, then boot back into TWRP
Flash this kernel 1st. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24533100289590241
if it still hangsup, boot back into TWRP
Flash this kernel 2nd. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24533100289590242
Let me know how it goes, and/or which kernel worked for you so I can add it to post #2 for others to use.

I haven't had time to check that. But even if it doesn't, you can't have it all right off the bat.

I wasn't complaining, just asking. 5g is a necessity for me, so there is no point in even trying the ROM if it doesn't work.

[Q] Can't download files on this site

I heard something recently about fileshare sites being shut down...is that what I'm experiencing. Tried to download files from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1359068 and none of the links work. Actually a couple did but said I could only download a file I uploaded myself. I tried downloading from another thread on this site and had the same problem. Any solutions/alternatives? How can I download from the link I posted above?
Thanks!

I see a KJ4 link. Have you tried the KJ5 thread? It's the newest one for our 7310.
Hi nirogu325, thanks for replying. This is what I am trying to do:
-Enable adhoc connection so I can use my windows mobile phone as a hotspot for my tabl, and
-Enable USB charging for my tab in my car and elsewhere, not just wall jack.
Based on what I've read, I need busybox (Titanium back up says it's installed but when I downloaded an app called wifiadhocenabler, it says it is not installed. Installing it from the market says I need Nand Unlock and this is where I'm stuck at the moment. Do you know how to perform this on the P7310? Or an easier way to meet the objectives above?
Thanks again

I assume you're on a stock firmware. If I were you, I'd flash this specific version which is already rooted and has busybox as you can read in the OP. Also, flash the v2d version of the motley kernel and go here for the USB charging script and instructions on enabling. I know that last link is for the 10.1, but it is the one motley linked to in the v2b version changelog in his kernel thread.
After my soft brick yesterday, I used Odin to "install" the version you attached in your General Guide post P310XARKJ5_P7310UEKJ5_HOME.tar.md5). That's the one, right?
Anyway, the good news is, I decided to install BusyBox without doing the Nand Unlock (maybe it was already done?), and it worked! The wifiadhocenabler app works now and I have a connection to my wm phone! Yay! Before trying the app (for the sake of onlookers) I tried the other method with the wpa_supplicant, such as the one here: http://androidtablethacks.com/android-tablet-hacks/how-to-enable-adhoc-wifi-on-android-tablets/ and it did not work for me. The app did!
So now, I'll try the kernel you posted above and then the USB charging.
I'm going to look over your general guide to see if I can figure out how to flash. I'm guessing it's the same or similar to when I recovered my tab in Odin...?

If you mean flashing a CWM package as the motley kernel, a file goes in the SDcard, you access the CWM Recovery and flash. That's a generic way BUT depending on what you will flash you may have to wipe. That's why I avoided altogether putting generic instructions regarding CWM packages in my guide (instructions may vary between ROM and kernels). Read your flashable package's thread carefully.
kind of like rooting? Yes, do I have to wipe to flash the motley kernel? I'm not seeing the flashable packages thread, can you point me to it?

No, lol. If you want to flash the motley kernel just follow that thread's instructions. I gave you the motley kernel thread link in a previous post. For kernels, no wipe is necessary, for ROMs, yes.

You're welcome. Some people have the tendency NOT to wipe while flashing ROMs...yet complain later on the road. Always wipe when it comes to ROMs if you want to avoid issues. The only bugs you will experience are the ones that come with the ROM already. Better safe than sorry.
Ah, that leads me to wonder...When my tab was soft bricked and I used Odin3 and inserted the KJ5 file into the PDA section, and so on (I think that was flashing), was I supposed to do a wipe before I did that? If so, would it be better if I started from scratch again? ...hoping not, but better now than latter I'm thinking.

No. ODIN clears everything (including kernels, ROMs and CWM Recoveries). Everything back to stock. I was just referring to flashing other custom ROMs (non-ODIN, i.e. CWM flashable) procedures. Stick to the thread instructions in your chosen ROM and you'll be fine. It's just that some don't follow instructions and due to that, they may experience weird bugs.
That's good news, and strange, because after I used Oden3 (in the way I previously described), all my apps and files were still in tact. Does it just affect the system and not the file memory?
P.S. Hey! I'm no longer a noob! lol I just noticed I am now a "Junior Member".
P.S.S. I'm now running my tablet off my wm hotspot while charging it on my pc! woohoo

That is because you didn't check F.Reset Time on the left side of ODIN before flashing. It is advisable to make sure it is checked. Thanks, I'm gonna put that little but important detail in my guide (dunno how I missed that one ). I advise using Titanium Backup (for apps backup) and then ODIN. You might be fine as you are, but if you ever experience something weird then you know.

My tablet is definitely a little laggy now, but that could be the 3.2 HC. Since I did not check that off, does it mean that it did not install on a clean wipe? I'm wondering if I should just do it while I remember the path to how I got where I'm at now. I doubt I'll remember everything down the road.
I have been making nandroid backups as well as titanium app backups.

nirogu325,
I'm back to do my clean wipe. I performed the wipe/data reset in nandroid and now it's saying there is an update from KJ5 to LA3. Do you still think the custom kj5 is better than the stock LA3? I'm wondering if I should just install the update, root, install the motley kernel and go from there...?
Hope you're well! I still think you should add a donate link...you don't have to be a developer, your assistance/guidance is equally helpful to the community.
While I'm waiting, I flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1375112 and then I noticed I have the old CMR so I downloaded your updated package: GTab89Files and I cannot paste a single file from that folder onto my tab. I can paste files from other folders, but this one I copy and when I go to paste the paste option is not enabled; if I drag I get a little red circle with a line through it. Any ideas as to why it's rejecting?

[ODIN][N8013] Prerooted UEALH2 Firmware Package

This post contains a complete firmware update package for N8013 UEALH2. It is based off the Kies images dumped by http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1847706
It was rooted and the system image rebuilt using the guide at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1081239 - FYI partition size for N8013 is 1400M
The package is at http://d-h.st/8v0
This will give you a complete restore to stock UEALH2 plus root, without triggering the flash counter.
By complete, I mean EVERYTHING: Kernel, recovery, system, hidden/preload, cache will be returned to the same configuration as if you flashed UEALH2 via KIES - the only difference is root.
Use Odin to flash it.
Entropy will this my issues? Can you go take a look at my help thread and general and look at my picture of my download mode saying custom?
Sent from a Baked Black Jelly Belly
Entropy, will this work on my note even though i'm already running UEALH2? Got my update OTA last night before I had a chance to root it.
Also, if I'm able to use this and I root my device should I be wary about OTA in the future causing device malfunctions? In other words, what kind of update path should I follow in the future?
Sorry for the newb question. New to Samsung. Used to rooting and flashing and updating my old droid 2 global. Never did anything with my prime before I exchanged it for this and haven't done anything with my RAZR yet. I've kind of been flash cracker dormant for a while.

Probably, however to reset DL mode to not be custom you'll need my TriangleAway support kernel (for now - Chainfire is going to integrate support into his app by including a compatible kernel for temp-flashing to reset). Flash it, run TA, then flash this and you should be on bone-stock except root.
BTW, this is a COMPLETE package including stock kernel and recovery. Once Mobile Odin supports this device (I gave Chainfire the info he needs to support N80xx) you can flash CWM and any kernel you want from rooted stock like this.
As to OTAs - In the past, many OTAs could be deployed safely to rooted devices as long as you weren't using CWM. However, Samsung seems to have switched to special incremental OTAs that patch the current binaries, so if even one of them is modified in any way, the update will fail. Happened to a lot of users with the last OTA.
Eventually you'll probably see custom firmwares that are deodexed and have the update-related APKs removed so you won't get OTAs.
OK so flash the kernel via Odin ? I am on the old injected rooted tar will it be ok?

Hmm, if this fixes the S Pen on my tablet I'll be pleasantly surprised. If it's based on the image from jaaka, and ODINing that didn't fix the S Pen for me, would this be any different? I have the same issue as David, tried to root after taking the OTA and after installing CWM and rooting the S Pen stopped working. I've flashed the root injected stock image from zedo multiple times to no avail, and also the UEALH2 one from jaaka, as well as trying to update via Kies after installing the root injected stock image. Formatted data/cache and system too once, although flashing in ODIN should overwrite system completely, right?
Also, can we flash this in Heimdall? Or would you recommend against that?

Formatted data/cache and system too once, although flashing in ODIN should overwrite system completely, right?
Also, can we flash this in Heimdall? Or would you recommend against that?

I had weird issues when flashing with heimdall.
Try flashing this, wiping with STOCK recovery, and don't **** around with CWM until you're sure it's working.
Warning: I believe stock recovery is a full 100% wipe, including /sdcard (which is actually /data/media) - CWM takes measure to protect /data/media that might result in unclean wipes sometimes. This is why pershoot would always tell people to wipe in stock recovery if they had problems for example.

Alright, will do that then. Still waiting for it to finish downloading, seems like dev-host is not that fast unfortunately (or maybe I'm just spoiled by university internet and 4G). I did wipe with stock recovery once during my couple hours of trying to fix my tablet and it didn't seem to help. I probably won't try flashing CWM or rooting again for a while until I can get confirmation from others that it doesn't break the S Pen again. The thing I wanted to try (Screencast) worked but was somewhat unimpressive in terms of quality so I don't need to show it to the person I wanted to show it to (plus without S Pen it's less useful for my specific use case).

I think I've tried 5 times and each one failed partway through. Do sites like goo.im not let you upload files that big?
What about the site that the other guy used, http://www.peejeshare.com/ ?
ya i tried a lot too,
I also have tried every method in getting the pen to work, and always either get no touch screen or no pen.
I have tried wiping, different orders, flashing clockwork and wiping all in there.
NADA no pen
Shoulda of just waited to root til this came out officially.
I might have to throw in the towel if this tar doesn't work and and send it back after clearing the binary count.
Unless someone has another idea?

[Q] Optimus 2x p990 won't install pa_p990-2.6-08-newbl-tonyp.zip

Hi all,
Im usually pretty good with roms but i now realize i also can get ICS on which has opend a whole new world for me and suddenly i find myself in the noob seat yet again..
Im trying to install the newst Paranoid Andriod which i assume is this one:
pa_p990-2.6-08-newbl-tonyp.zip
I have downloaded the zip file as i do with all the other roms i have tried. I boot my phone into recovery and brows the SD card where i choose to install the rom. The installation start and after som time it pops me back into the recovery menu and nothing has happend.
I have tried to delete everything
I have troed with Miui version 4.3.2.8 and opti-trust 1.3A and those did the same..
Im suspecting that i missing something more deep with in the os. Maybe a kernal update or something? Maybe i have to update my andriod to ICS but i can't find out how to do that..
After allot of tried i finally managed to screw up my phone and had to recover back to a cyanogen mod i had stored on the SD card.
currently my phone is running with
Andriod-version: 2.3.7
Base band version: 1035.21_20120521
Kernal system: 2.6.32.55-Cyanogenmod [email protected]) )
Mod version is Cyanogenmod-7.2.0-p990
Version number is GWK74 (don't know if you need that)
can anyone point me in the right direction??
Sincerely
Offerlam
To start with, if you're using CM7.2, then you're on the old bootloader.
If you try to install new bootloader roms, the best that will happen is that they will not work.
Check which bootloader a rom is for before installing
Edit: You may have messed up your partition layout by flashing new bl roms. If this is the case and you are having issues, you will have to use the AIO tool from the development section to fix it.

Thank you for your answer but i need it to be dumped down ALOT more... like i know the technical term for a bootloader but what constitute a bootload on andriod? is this a bootloader P990_Stock-ICS-v28g-v3.01-standard.zip? I guess that must be ice cream sandwish? if so i tried to install it from the recovery prompt on the phone but that didn't work... perhaps i do have that patition issue you mentioned?
You have to download the old bl version of PA for your case
1. If you are unable to install/use any ROM properly after trying pa_newbl, it means that partitions have got messed up, and you need to:
Download AIO toolkit, install nvflash drivers in that, put internal_sd_fix from AIO thread and ROM zip file in SD card, then select option 4, and follow the process. Select old/gingerbread bootloader when asked, and cwm version of your choice. Then put a ROM flash int-sd_fix and the ROM in recovery.
2. If your partitions are ok (you are able to use cm7.2 properly), just wipe and flash pa-oldbl version (download link in same thread).

Wouldn't there be other benefit by changing my bootloader to a newer one?

the recommended way is
wipe data
wipe cache
wipe dalvik
format system
flash ROM
flash Gapps (some prefer to reboot after this...I never do that)
flash the latest stable Kernel (usually Kowalski Kernel)
I am sure you can get past the start screen.....
Note: First time boot takes longer with this ROM....so stay normal
TRY to keep the battery more than 70%...so you can finish all this work without any power issue.
hope this helps my friend

HI..
How to i format the system? is there a option for that in the recovery console?
and thanks for your steps... they really clarified allot for me..
I havne't gotten a answer on the bootloader thing. I was suggestet to keep running with my old bootloader but wouldn't everything not work better if i ran with the newst bootloader or does that not matter?
Is bootloader = Andriod version? say Ice cream sandwish is a bootload? can you say that?

[ROM] Blackhole G2 Custom ROM [VZW]

In order to flash this ROM please make sure you have the following:
Nerves of Steel
Root
TWRP 2.6.3.2
A Current Backup
A clear knowledge of how to go back to stock
Disclaimer: Though I have flashed this ROM on my own device with no issues, and it has been beta tested there is no guarantee that yours will behave the same way. It is possible to hard brick your phone while flashing custom ROMs, and I take no responsibility if this happens to you. Please be aware that this is the first public release of this ROM, and has only been tested on a handful of devices. Further, this a ROM made for the Verizon G2 variant, and flashing it on any other version could be disastrous. Proceed at your own risk.
Installation steps:
1. Boot the phone into the TWRP recovery using ADB.
2. Choose "Wipe", then use the slider to start a system restore. This will take 5-10 minutes. (This step should be optional, but I have not tested it without wiping /data, feel free to test, but expect problems and be pleasantly surprised if they don't occur.)
3. Back out to the main menu.
4. Choose "Install"
5. Select "Blackhole_G2_Stock_1.0.zip" from your internal memory.
6. Confirm by using the slider. This will take 5-15 minutes, possibly longer. Do not attempt to reboot your phone or cancel the flash in any way.
7. Choose "Reboot System"
Please E-mail me or post here with any feedback, suggestions, and especially problems you have with the Rom.
Features:
Built on Stock Rooted base by scrosler
Zipaligned
Odexed, since this phone is a pain to deodex and no one has done it yet...
Stripped of almost everything but the bare essentials. As a rule, anything you can get from the play store is gone. Most LG apps are gone. All Verizon apps except mobile hotspot are gone. See screenshot.
Includes the Mobile Hotspot with provisioning removed for free tethering (thanks to WACOMalt for posting)
This ROM is a Clean Rom that is just the first step toward the final goal of an Aroma based installer that will allow you to build your own ROM with whatever features and mods you want. Since no Clean ROM is available yet I thought I'd release just the base for the people who want something lightweight and stable to flash.
KNOW ISSUES:
- If you wipe data when you install (and I suggest you do) you will get an error when you click through the setup wizard, but just continue and you'll be able to complete it.
- In some cases it may ask you to install the Google Play Services, go ahead and do so.
- The Qvoice has been removed, but the shortcut when you drag up and to the left from home is still there for now. It simply does nothing.
- The Help app is included only to disable the annoying popups. All other features of the help app except the icon glossary will cause the app to crash.
Download:
Version 1.0
Missing app installers:
(Coming soon) Copy these to your internal memory and flash via TWRP to restore stock apps that have been removed. Please post if there's something you need back and can't wait for the final version to have it.
Quick Remote
Stock Email
Qvoice
(These will become links as I put the packages together and get them uploaded)
Thanks:
scrosler for the Stock Rooted ROM I used as the base
WACOMalt for posting the modified Mobile Hotspot
Matt (drkow19), heffzilla, triskropf97, and sgtmedeiros for beta testing
Blackhole Universal Installer
I put together a package that will let you easily create your own flashable packages for the Verizon LG G2. All you have to do is grab any apps you are missing and want to add back from the Stock Rooted ROM provided by scrosler. Open the .zip on your computer using 7zip or your archive manager of choice. Place all the .apk and .odex files you want to flash to your phone in the /system/app folder inside the zip file. you can rename this whatever you want. Anyone can feel free to use this to package any mods/apps/themes as well, just create the appropriate folders under the /system folder like /framework or /media.
Reserved for Changelog
AWESOME! Cant wait to try. When you say LG apps are removed, are you removing functionality like knock-on? Or just things like quick remote/Qslide?
Nice job. Good to see this. Will try later. Thanks.

All the LG features, gestures and functionality are left in. Knock-on, Quickwindow, Quickmemo, Qslide, Slide-aside, etc. all work as intended. The LG apps is the stuff like notebook, quick translate, quick remote, email, qvoice etc. Stuff you can get better versions of from the market, or that not everyone uses. In the final rom I'll have them all available to add back, but for now I tried to make it as clean as possible without affecting any of the extra features that LG provides. And if I've removed something that a majority of people want back it can always be added in the next version.
Thanks for this, I remember you from my Fascinate days!

It needed to be. OG droid ROMs used to be no more than 200MB, now were looking at 10 - 15 times that and it's just crazy. Who wants to download and copy a 2 gig file to their phone? But with Aroma that's what it will end up being. I'd so much rather use Rom Manager like on the fascinate, so you only download what you want, but then you're downloading over a gig straight to the phone. Oh well.

Not sure if you want requests or not, but do you plan on adding features like:
- Black/Transparent nav and status bar
- Removal of location icon
- Remove AM/PM - Do you know if this one is possible?
- AOSP status bar icons
I am on the other VZW rooted rom in the same section of XDA this rom is in with TWRP recovery. I am not on the latest TWRP recovery. After I get on the latest recovery, do I wipe factory reset, clear caches and flash like it was with the GNex? I just really do not want to have to worry about bootlooping and such. This looks like the rom I am looking for.....thanks, I appreciate any helpful responses..
That's a good question. It is the stock ROM essentially

yes, those features are intended to be an optional part of the final product. I just wanted to release something people could flash for an easy debloat now. Since this is a stock based rom built off the OTA, any mods that work with the OTA should work with this ROM, I just haven't tested them yet. I am not much of a modder, but I intend to add available mods to the Aroma installer for the final ROM, with permission of the creator of course.

Once you have flashed the latest version of TWRP, I do recommend wiping data and cache. This should notbe necessary, but I haven't done enough testing to say for sure. If you have opened and used apps on stock that have been removed in the ROM, it's difficult to say what dependencies they may have created. If you are concerned about getting a bootloop, then wipe. If you are prepared to restore to stock with the link in the OP, then go ahead and don't wipe and hope for the best. Again, it should work, but I haven't had anyone test it yet.
And ultimately, if you're on the latest version of TWRP, I believe they fixed the issues with booting into recovery with the hardware buttons, so if you do get caught in a bootloop you should be able to enter TWRP and restore a backup. Someone please correct me if I misunderstood this, "2.6.3.2 removes /misc from the recovery.fstab which prevents factory reset when you use the key combo to enter recovery."

Is the LG filesystem any different from the filesystem on the Gnex?
If not, Ive had great success using the Android Revolution SuperWipe script before flashing a ROM. I add it as the first zip in the queue on TWRP and it handles wiping all of the caches/data/system
If I know for sure it will work on the G2 Id be happy to provide a dropbox link.
Works great but it force closed on the initial install when i tried to do the email part and the stock email app is not there otherwise so far so good
Glad to see it posted! Still running great for me, thanks again!

CPL1 Firmware/ Rom Stock Plus

CPL1 Stock Plus Rom
I would just like to share an enhanced version of stock note 4 with the only "foreign" app being the grace InCallUI mainly because I have yet to locate a guide on how to make all the buttons layout correctly and there is also very minor cosmetic changes (removed words from lock screen and extended the drop-down panel to go all the way across the screen). All features and modifications were done by me using guides from @Kamy, @ikrom, @jovy23, @asc1977, @EMSpilot, @tdunham, @daxgirl, @tkari4, @Hani K., @Misterxtc and the InCallUI ported by @Albe95. Last but certainly not least, all this was made possible with @ASSAYYED's great rom kitchen and @Ticklefish's Tickle my Android.

Yes, the firmware includes everything except recovery and aboot. Also a few things I forgot to mention, the switch to turn on volume up for flashlight is in the display settings and to set the apps for toolbox you just long press on the toolbox icon (when activated) and then drag it up to the edit section at the top of the screen. Sorry guys I'm terrible at writing the info and summary for these roms but hopefully I can get it figured out one day.

I understand. Please clarify for me...
I'm on pj2 unlocked/rooted. I want to stay unlocked/rooted. Do I flash the "partial".zip, or Odin the "full" ? :fingers-crossed:
When I read through hsbdr's post's, I must have 5 or six tabs open
I prefer instructions simple, and retail and Dev posts/instructions separate from each other. As well as return to "unrooted" or "keep root" posts. Many have accidentally locked their BL as a result. There is no reason to include a "return to stock-locked" link in with a custom rooted ROM post/links. Uhg
Thank you for keeping it simple for us, and all your work!

Yeah it does get a little confusing. That's the main reason I just posted my own link just to make sure I'm not linking to the wrong thing. Fun fact while testing all this out, I was able to flash pj2 roms while I was on the cpl1 firmware and everything worked. I just tested one rom but it seems like once you upgrade your firmware you may not have to downgrade again if you want to go back to another rom.

The first couple times I tested a firmware that I made, I was terrified of locking my bl. I flashed the one I posted and then tested for downgrade and all is good, but it doesn't seem to be necessary to downgrade again. As far as differences between them the only thing I noticed was more security stuff and some different bloatware.
Forgive me...
So the "full firmware link" (download file name: "cpl1_tar_32bit_ext4") doesn't include the recovery and aboot files(?)

That's correct. If you flash it and let it boot you'll have your custom recovery, unlocked bootloader, no root, no busybox, cpl1 modem/kernel, and odexed system. That way if someone wants pure stock they can just flash the supersu file and your set.
She's running great for me! I installed xposed and oscar kernel and it's stable as a rock! Any chance of the additional grace apps - email, contacts, etc? Great work man!

I just tried the email zip at this post and it worked. When I get off work I'll test those others. They all should work but if you don't want to be the guinnie pig I can do it.
So oscar works? I thought it might need an update but that's good to know.
Yes, Oscar 13 works great. I'll give the grace apps a try - thanks again!

For some reason after flashing grace email, I see high battery usage for email 19-30%. Tried clearing data but still see the drain. Am I missing something?

Honestly, I only use that app when testing it and I haven't noticed any battery drain, but I can't say I've ever checked either. I wonder if it just needs to settle in. Maybe someone that uses it more can chime in to see if it's an issue for everyone. If you want to, see if after a while it goes back to normal range and if it doesn't try to get a log and we can see what we can come up with.
Hello @kevintm78. Need a little help. I just odin'd the full firmware and now my phone won't boot. I get unfortunately System UI has stopped. I was on CPJ1 before I did this. Should I just try to restore a backup? Thanks

If Odin completed it should have at least updated your firmware. If that's the case you could just go ahead and flash the rom. All the files from the full firmware get overwritten anyway. Just make sure you do a complete wipe (everything but your sd/Ext sd) and you should be good to go.

Thank you. Yes I just restored a backup just fine and it's also showing my baseband is now CPL1. Now I'm going to flash your rom so I can have stock whenever I want it. Thank you for your time and help. And for the upgrade.
@kevintm78...thank you for this. I had lost 4g somewhere in all my flashing. I tried reflashing partial firmware and even restoring backups wouldnt give me 4g again.I was getting ready to go through the entire lock, unlock, root process again when I found this thread. I downloaded the full firmware in the op, flashed with flashfire, rebooted into recovery, wiped dalvik, data, cache, and rebooted system. I now have 4g back. I made a nandroid of stock, and then clean flashed LOS and still have 4g. So thankful to you!!

Yeah man, I'm a bit of a flashaholic too and was having the same issues a while back when experimenting with data fixes and thought that I fried my sim card. Like you I tried the partial first but the only thing that got my 4g back was flashing a full stock firmware. :good:
