Out if no where my 4 month old s6 won't charge not even to 1% One night pluged it in and woke up on 3% then went dead .
ive tried 10 chargers cords and wall pieces . What's strange is is this a bug or software related .I've nevr had the phone around water .
The bizarre thing is it will turn on it will stay on for hours in twrp recovery with the charger plugged in If i remove charger it dies in twrp but once I boot to the O.S powers off in 5 seconds regardless of charging or not .
I really can't relate it to a O.S issue charge port or battery issue or a bug .
If it wasn't taking a charge or seeing charge it wouldn't even stay powered in TWRP MODE . If I plug it in off I see a lighting bolt for 2 seconds then goes black never accumulates any charge%
If it was the running off charge power only and not battery it should still stay on after boot When booter into the O.S
So why does it stay on when plugged into twrp only

Hi !
So my nexus 7 is not charging anymore... 3 days ago I took it outside ( it was -20°C in Montreal) and tried to use it but it did not start ( I think the battery went off because of the cold).
When I went back home I plugged it to the AC charger but nothing happened. I checked on several forums ans finally succeeded in booting the tablet. But the as soon as the tablet is on, it displays the message that the tablet is shutting down. I can see that the battery is empty and it is like the tablet is not plugged to the charger(the icon displays a red exclamation point instead of the charging indicator)
When the tablet is off and I plugged it to the charger it displays the charging icon for a 10 seconds and then it disappears. During those few seconds I can launch the boot loader. I tryed to shut it down, de plug and re plug the charger. The charging icon appears and then disappears again after a few...
Any advice on this one ? I don't think the tablet is totally dead but I don't find the way to make it charge again.
Thanks a lot,
Guillaume

Does the charger get warm at all when you plug it in? Not that that's necessary but curious. Try charging on a different charger. Perhaps a local BB or similar would let you try plugging in in lieu of buying one. But trying a different charger/cord would be my first step.
Usually it's heat and not cold that devices hate.
HTH
Have you plugged it into a computer and left it that way for a few hours?
Did you tried pressing Power button for 30 seconds ?? It worked for some people, I was not even able to turn on my nexus 7 when its reached to my hands, i was so unlucky, today i given it to Asus service centre as its has international warranty, i lives in india & bought from US, they working on it,hoping for best.
You might have to take the back off and check the battery connector, some people have had them come loose.

These things are freezer tested and they work. Worst comes to absolute worst complete battery replacement is not that difficult if you are out of warranty. I remember reading that in the disassembly notes.

I put my phone on charge and after a while it started showing as phone is being charged and being disconnected from charge continously. I switched the phone off to charge the battery which is now fully charged.
Now problem is phone wont restart....it just a grey battery logo and then a green battery logo with 6 dots underneart, vibrates and restarts....and the cycle continues. It would boot into recovery but wont let the phone start.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks
Sorry close the threat please.....got it sorted.
The charging cable was wet when I plugged it now. I have tried drying the phone with a hair dryer and now it's working fine.
Good. But can u change to [Sloved]?

Can someone help me pls? I have a problem with my GT-N700, 2 days ago it started make some problems. It was like i was plug in and out the usb cable continously. This morning it freeze and after is remove the battery and press the power button, phone got stucked in a screent with a battery(like the screen you see when wou boot the phone with charger pluged) and it show a battery with a yellot triangle (with "no charger cable connected" sign within). what should I do? I mentioned i run 2.3.6 and the phone was bought from France. Thank you!
Battery
Remove battery and then reinsert after 5 mins, then connect charger and charge it for 4-5 hours, then power on.
Remove battery and clean the charger port if it gets lint in it it can allow mositer to cause problems other then that could be bad charge port to

hey Guys wasnt using my X2 yesterday night i am tried to charge phone it showed green led for few minutes and the started charging when it reached 2% of charging i am tried to turn on the phone didnt turned on it swithced off now today i am tried to charge it again if i connect charger it does show green led brighter for few minutes and then led light being dimmer after 1 or 2 minutes phone doesnt charge what could be the issue battery is dead or charger problem? i am confused alot please help me
Make sure you're using the factory charger and test it against another device to ensure it can charge something. I've ran into this with my Nexus 7 after a complete battery drain and charging it from a computer for 15 minutes and then turning it on seems to work. Even the Nexus support pages recommend this. Give those things a try. Make sure everything is fully plugged in too.
I am using factory charger and tried with 10 different chargers just green led shows up for exactly 60 SEC's and being dim and led turns off the phone doesn't charged even connected to PC even I tried charging powerbank still no luck

Plug it in and leave it plugged in overnight. Be patient.
No use brother

There was a thing with BlackBerry playbooks doing this, the solution was 'stack charging'. Plug it in, wait for the green light to dim then switch the power off and then back on again. Repeat several times and then leave it to charge normally (but dont try to boot it) for a few hours
Tried all the possible ways I think battery is dead
