[Q] Which RUU to use for HTC One Indian version?

Can anyone tell me what RUU can I flash onto my Indian version HTC One (M7/801e) with 1.29.707.4 (s-on) Is it possible to flash it with some older version and get to the latest version with OTA updates? Any help would be appreciated! :fingers-crossed:

If your CID is HTC__038 and your MID is PN0711000. You will need to change yourCID and MID so you can flash the 1.29.707.3 RUU. You need to be S-OFF.

Yes sad to say. Because your MID and CID is different so you can't just flash the 1.29.707.3 RUU.

I am in a similar situation. did you manage changing the CID and MID or found an alternative to doing this? Please help, my phones bricked

thanks but i have a simfree uk phone, and have only french Englang or Ireland...
I would like to install the french european Rom official...when doind this with the latest exe available it told me baseband problem...
Do you have a solution to have the like it would have been bought in France... ?

After using this assuming you are s-off and supercid, Change your cid to the cid of the French rom that you require then you will receive the appropriate ota updates.

Can someone please help?
I am after the RUU for my HTC one M7 version 1.29.841.18 to be able to restore it back to stock for the latest HTC update.
I purchased the phone through Telstra in Australia.

Im also looking for Telstra RUU.
I have looked everywhere, contacted telstra via crowd support emailed HTC and HTCdev it seems no one will release it.
If you do find it let me know!!

I have tried HTC with no luck. Although on the developers site they do have the source code available for this version. Does anyone know how, or if , you can create the RUU from this?

Haven't tested it yet but this page seems to have the original Telstra RUU files for the HTC One M7

Has anyone got a backup of their 4.2.2 Optus HTC One CID: OPTUS001 that they could upload somewhere please? I got my old 4.1.2 but unfortunately since I am s-on I can't install the old touch driver

I am currently having same issues, As I type this I have a stock Unbranded Installing hoping this will work untill someone uploads a backup

The last available version is 2.19.401.2 as per my nkowledge, I believe there is an OTA update after that.

This is the last available version for the UK O2.

Steps:
- Confirm that your device baseband number matches exactly as the radio number in this file.
- Download the ROM and rename to 0P8BIMG.zip
- Place downloaded file after renaming into root of SD card
- Reboot into bootloader
- Flashing will start automatically (ALL DATA WILL BE ERASED
- IF YOU HAVE AN OTA UPDATE, THIS WILL NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE S-On, ELSE YOU CAN FLASH ANY VERSION)

Hi, can you give me a link for the correct firmware...urn I don't mean firmware do I, you've given me that, and a faux locked no red text hboot please? I'm sorry for being a n00b, I just haven't done all of this for over a year and a half and have forgotten!

The link provided is the latest firmware for O2 available other than that I will need the baseband version of your device.
As for No Red Text HBoot, you can find it here for One Mini 2 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64981986&postcount=39

Your baseband relates to H3G, Vodafone France, Vodafone Germany and Vodafone UK, so which is it ?

Thanks, it was Vodafone UK, but I SIM unlocked it to accept O2 UK. Something tells me it's easier to do S-off and go super CID?

The way I read this is if I want to carry on using my O2 SIM card I have to S-off, Super CID and install the O2 UK firmware which includes the O2UK radio, Right. If I don't S-off I have to install this Vodafone firmware/radio then unlock the network again? Or now that the phone is unlocked will it always be network unlocked? Sorry for n00b questions.

While I am familiar with SuperCID allowing any fimrware to be installed regardless of carrier, it doesn't allow any HTC updates to be installed as to HTC you are carrying a region-less device, thus no HTC OTA will appear for your device.
I am not very familiar with changes to carrier firmware as where I have never used any device that is network locked, apologies.

Ok this is what I'm going o do, I will S-off, Super cid, install O2 firmware and that's it job done. If I'm only missing the one ota I read it only sorts out the stage fright hack which you can solve yourself by switching off mms retrieval. Am I right? I won't need any other radio as it is in the O2 package....... God it's easier when I've got a pc....Thanks for your time and expertise
