Hi I'm having issues with my LG Tone Wireless Bluetooth Headset after upgrading to Marshmallow. The track skip button and play button doesn't work anymore. The headset still connects to my phone and the volume controls works but all of the other functions doesn't work. Has anyone else ran into this issued after upgrading to Marshmallow and know anyway for me to fix it?
Oh the pain of being an early adopter

I just got a pair of Jabra BT8010 for my Tilt and was looking forward to enjoying them but they won't play music for me. The Jabra BT8010 has a regular BT headset that works like any other BT set but it also has a cable you can attach and make it into a stereo headset with another ear bud. You press a mode button to turn on the stereo/music function.
However, the music function of the headset is on and I can control the media player but either the sound plays for about 10 seconds and goes out or no sound comes through the headset at all. Jabra & ATT were no help. HTC claimed that phone doesn't work with this BT set because the device must have a dedicated BT music headset. That sounded shady to me so I decided to check several forums and noticed some people use the same model. I've contacted these people but no reply yet. Anyone have advice on what to do for a fix?
I had the same problem at first. Using the menu on the headset itself, I was able to reset it to the factory settings, repair it with my phone, and it worked just fine after that.
Hope that helps you out.
Got a set of Motorola's S9 BT headphones for Xmas. It paired up just fine with with my Titan (P4000). Music playback works great, and the phone responds to the controls on the headset (volume up/down, play/pause, etc.) While stereo playback is great, it doesn't seem to operate at all on a call. It rings when a call comes in, and when I press to answer, all I get is a slight crackle of static with no inbound/outbound audio. The call seems to stay connected, but I'm unsure if there's something wrong with the BT on my phone or if it's a defective headset, since I don't own another BT headset to test it out with.
Are there any known Bluetooth issues with Telus' P4000 with their Windows 6.1 update? Or did I get a bum headset, and should I exchange it?
Thanks in advance!
Hi all
As the title suggests, I bought a new bluetooth headset (Chatterbox XBi2 for my motorcycle) and I'm trying real hard to get it working before a trip on friday, but so far, no luck.
I can stream music to it from my diamond, and I've gotten it to launch voice command, by replacing redial.exe (which is what my button launches) with voicecommand.exe renamed.
With some messing around (set this device as wireless stereo/handsfree), I get about 80% of the functionality working --
the button launches voice command, I hear the prompt in my headset, but the mic that gets turned on to hear my response is on the *phone* not the headset.
Phone calls once connected work properly through the headset.
Can anyone help??
thanks
Cory
Anyone have any ideas?
Hi,
I just upgraded to dell stock 2.2 from O2 2.1 and I am not able to use the button provided on the wired headset to answer calls or to end calls. the button press activates music player.... is anyone else facing the same issue?
I did not find a OS level setting via the interface wherein i can specify the key press action.
thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I faced an even stranger issue, I was able to listen to music and answer the call at the same time. I was using Winamp and the playback did not stop so I was hearing the song as well the caller. (I believe this was on 1.4.5)
I upgraded to the Moto-X for the touchless controls as I commute to work and back on my motorbike and I was really unsatisfied with alternatives floating around to simulate touchless control.
Now when I am in my car and using my bluetooth headset the voice control works just fine, I can navigate, call and send quick messages no problem
But on my bike I use a Viper RSv-131 helmet which has bluetooth built in and I listen to local radio or music whilst I'm riding but my Moto-X does not respond when I cay Ok Google now or when I press the button on my helmet either I can answer incoming calls fine but thats it.
Does anyone else use a Moto-X on a motorcycle/motorbike or even a regular bicycle with bluetooth and do you have similar problems?
Have you tried Google>Settings>Voice>Bluetooth headset

Thanks Etcetra, I have bluetooth headset option turned on and it works using my BT headset in the car.
My gut reaction is my car headset is a regular over the ear BT headset but my helmet is like BT stereo headphones with a microphone and so I think it's a different kind of BT but I'm not an expert.
Any advice would be welcome
Check to see which profiles are connected on each device by going into Bluetooth settings and tapping the little settings icon next to the connection.
My helmet comes up as BLINK II and is ticked for phone and media audio

That's unfortunate as it suggests an incompatibility issue between the two. It should certainly work using the phone profile.
Check with the helmet maker... maybe they have a firmware update available.
Turned off media audio and just tried phone audio but still the same: (
