Hi All,
device : Note 5 - N9208 stock ROM
I have problems with the WiFi, here is the condition:
1. WITH Simcard Inserted, most of time the WiFi cant be "Turned On". even it can be turned on, the device will be forced to Shutdown or Restart.
2. WITHOUT Simcard, Wifi working just fine. no problem with turning on and off.
action taken :;
1. hard reset - via setting --> Not working
2. Clear cache via boot-loader --> not working
3. Factory reset via boot-loader --> not working
do you have any idea how to fix it?
and another question, can it be fixed if I root the phone and install another ROM?

Hi. I have a problem with my Ace. I flashed an XWKTM firmware in Odin and I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. When I enable the Wi-Fi it does nothing and suddenly the "Scanning" text appears and dissapears like 5 times and when I try to connect to my network, it says "Disconnected". I tried to wipe data, cache I flashed it again. I tried the *#*#526#*#* method and it said Driver load successful and still didn't work. How can I fix it?
There's some screens : http://imgur.com/a/vbl70

Hello today i managed to turn off the MLT in the hidden menu. It is true its free ups some ram and makes phone more responsive but the problem is afterwards problems occured.
1 disabled = wifi wont come on
2 disabled + factory reset = reboot on game and wi fi went off again
Never tried before using MLT option if it was any different now on every reboot WI-FI won't come on its just says 'turning on Wi-FI' and it doesn't work until i factory reset. It works 1 time after factory reset and when i do reboot its gone again. Any suggestions ?

Any of you have experiance with that MLT thingy ? and would you share how to manage a stable working 4.1.2 stock rom without MLT being on ?

Remove the MLT.apk & MLT.odex.If it doesn't work, try to flash another kernel.
Greetings XDA community, recently I've been facing a problem regarding my wifi which is stuck on "turning on" hence, it cannot be turned on from the toggle and the settings. This problem first appeared while I was in a custom rom. So I decided to revert back to stock firmware which temporarily solved the problem. After a while, the problem returned and doing some factory resets and clearing of cache didn't help. Other troubleshooting steps I've done so far :
a) Toggle airplane mode
b) Delete a wifi config file(I can't remember the name) using root explorer.
c) Turn on mobile data tethering
d) Flash a different Kernel
e) Downgrade from Nougat to MM
f) Reset network settings
g) Reboot/Poweroff for 5 minutes
Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, how were you able to get the wifi to work? Thanks in advance.

Go back to your stock rom and root it. Then get a root file explorer and go into System then into etc and copy the "Wi-Fi" folder and place it somewhere safe. Then go back to whatever rom your on now and put that Wi-Fi folder in the same spot. Delete the folder before you place the one from stock and give it 0755 permissions. Reboot and you're good.
Hello guys. First, im sorry if i missed something.
My Galaxy A6+ (A605G/DS) wont show option to unlock OEM in developer options even after 200 hours ++
Any ide why this is happen?
- I never restarted the device and the device was always connected to the internet
- Both samsung and google account always logged in
- Security patch level 1 November 2018
- Android 8.0.0
Any help would be greatly apreciated
Try to factory reset the device. Then follow this step :
1. Never turn your phone off by yourself (Tap power off in power menu. If you out of battery power, don't worry. It will still unlocked in 7 days)
2. Never restart your phone by yourself (Updates or random system reboot are ok)
3. Never go to airplane mode or turn your mobile data off.
4. Don't turn USB Debug on.
5. Never eject your SIM Card.
With all of those step, I manage to unlock my Galaxy A6

I honestly feel like I did at least one of these and my phone still gave the unlock option. I also haven't taken the July 2018 update... My phone still asks me everyday ? I have an A605G/DS that I bought from Amazon.
Thanks for the reply. I will try it soon.
Try removing the SIM card if you have one in your device then restart. That worked for me.
my friends, i have a Samsung Galaxy A6 (A600GN) Android 8 and I have unlocked the bootloader, but RMM State is Prenormal. I already have this phone 3 weeks ago.
What is the problem here?
