Hi. I have a problem with my Ace. I flashed an XWKTM firmware in Odin and I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. When I enable the Wi-Fi it does nothing and suddenly the "Scanning" text appears and dissapears like 5 times and when I try to connect to my network, it says "Disconnected". I tried to wipe data, cache I flashed it again. I tried the *#*#526#*#* method and it said Driver load successful and still didn't work. How can I fix it?
There's some screens : http://imgur.com/a/vbl70
/EDIT - I plugged another router in and Wi-Fi works now. I thought that my Ace broke. You can delete this thread.

I have searched for the past thirty minutes and have not found a solution so i decided to post in the place where every person seems to know the answer to every question. Anyways, my tp succesfully got set up in ICS and WIFI turned on at first for me to do my original setup, but after rebooting to flash the charger fix and new kernel, my wifi will not connect. I tried a fresh install to make sure the kernel was not the issue, to no avail. When i try and slide the wifi on/off switch to on it just slides back and clicking on the button does nothing. I also tried to add the power widget to the main screen and hit the Wifi button from there, but that was also borked. Any help would be appreciated.
Try setting your router to a specific channel I put mine on 9 and it works now. I was having wifi issues after reboot but after setting the Chanel on my router they went away
If I forget my network, then reboot, then reconnect it seems to work fine. I tried a few other "fixes" I have read about and nothing else seems to work for me at this point...
The problem is not my network, its the fact that i cannot hit the "on" button for wifi

The OP did make the problem clear!
Looks like a reinstall may be needed.
try fixing permissions from CWM.
If that doesn't work, I suggest to have a look at the logcat entries while trying to switch on and off the Wifi, you may see the reason for the error there.
What version of CM9 is intalled? did you install any special kernel? What channel is your wifi on? (I changed mine from 11 to 1 and it's stayed connected for days now!)
Try a full cache and dalvik cache wipe in ClockworkMod. If that fails, then do a full wipe, re-install and try again from scratch.
This happened to me when I updated to Alpha 0.5. I had to go back and reflash the bricked kernel which i previously installed. I think he made a change to the wifi settings and if I remember correctly he told you how to go back to stock cm9 if you wanted to. But if you installed bricked before that's your problem, reflash it in CWM
bricked kernel uses a different WIFI module, so you need to have both in sync (kernel and driver).
If it worked on first boot, I presume he didn't change the kernel, so something else must be causing his WIFI to fail (fail to start, not fail to connect)
As we mention before, I will go for permissions, cache and get a logcat for the error
Permissions did not work so I wiped and started fresh for the third time....well I guess third time is a charm because I am posting from the TP right now thanks guys.
i m using darky 3.3 final on my note. oday suddenly wifi connectin is lost. when i try connection note is scanning wifi network finding my wifi. i m writing pass and it write disconnect. i wiped chace, dalvik and factory reset but it is same. i tried to connect wifi 2 different ıcs rom but ot connet again.

Hi everyone,
I have a really weird problem.
yesterday I came home and my phone didn't connect to my home wifi.
so i tried turning the wifi off and on again but it didnt work..
other things I tried were wiping cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, I even restored a backup from a different rom but the problem wouldn't dissapear.
I was on cyanogenmod 10.1 PRO in the beginning. the backup I restored was PAC-Rom from nims11.
My computer had some problems too and it said DNS server not responding(or something like that) but it works again.
So is is something with my phone or is there something wrong with my router?
forgot to say: I also tried reinstalling wifi drivers on my ace with *#*#526#*#* but when I type the code it simply dissapears.
Thanks in advance!

First off, I have a AT&T Galaxy Note 3..
Ok so Xposed is telling me I have two updates available, I try to update them and i get that error on the bottom of the screen.. So thinking it may just be a glitch with the new downloads I tried to download GB as well, and it said same error..
I rebooted in Safestrap Recovery and cleared caches, and than rebooted phone, went into Xposed and Installed/Updated framework and rebooted again.. Tried to download again, same error =/
Any hints?
Looks like a problem with your connection, can you possibly try another?
I had the same error. The issue was that I was connected to my works wi-fi which was blocking the download. I turned off wi-fi and it downloaded successfully over 3G/4G.
I Installed android 4.4.4 jpsullins version on my 32gb hp touchpad and the wifi will not turn on. It is stuck with the message "turning on wifi" in wifi settings but will not turn on (the wifi switch won't toggle so I can't turn it off either). Also in the advanced settings no mac address or ip address is displayed. I have tried turning on and off airplane mode. Rebooting in to webos and back (wifi works in webos mode). I had cyanagen mod 10 previously installed and it was doing the same thing there so I tried wiping and reinstalling but no luck.
Any ideas?

I am having the same issue as well. I have tried everything i can think. any help would be appreciated, thanks
I am assuming from the first post that TP toolbox was not used to do the install. From what was written, it seems that wifi is not connecting in Android.
In my experience, there has not been a problem with the jcsullins rom and wifi but again, I used TP toolbox and did a complete wipe and erased webos.
Can you explain more about the process that was used in installing the rom on your TP?
same problem
Hello-
I have had the same problem on my TP 32GB for a couple of years. WiFi worked initially, and the after playing with it for a while it stopped working. WiFi just won't turn on, and won't find any networks, etc. In fact it has been sitting in a box and I just got it out today. I still have the same problem, and it sounds like the same type of problem as the posters above.
Today I used the most recent version of TP Toolbox (v42) to do a complete wipe, erased Web OS, and installed the most version of CM11 (cm-11-20150113-SNAPSHOT-jcsullins-tenderloin). It seems to run well, except no WiFi!
If I look at netcfg, there is just no wlan0, but there is: lo,dummy0,rmnet0,rmnet1,...,rmnet7,sit0,ip6tnl0
And looking at dmesg | grep ath6kl I get:
ath6kl: Unable to enable sdio func: -62)
ath6kl: Failed to init ath6kl core
ath6kl_sdio: probe of mmc1:0001:1 failed with error -62
Any ideas?

I know it's a few years later, but did anyone ever find a solution to this? I'm having the exact same issue across builds (from Jcsullins 4.4 all the way to DU 8.0)
