Did you use something like Wakelock Detector to try monitor if one single app would be the cause?

Found out what the issue is, looked at the battery physically and it has developed a little 1p sized bump, i can also see on the bamboo cover that it has kinda melted it. New battery on the way
Good to hear that

Yup, lets just hope it doesn't blow up until my new battery arrives.
Quick update. New battery came today after like AGES! works like new
:good:
Does changing a new battery will improved the life?
Do you know any battery with higher capacity that can fit the Mi note pro?

You can use a new battery with the same capacity and you'll have as new battery life.
You cannot use higher capacity battery.

Great app, great interface, but . . . after installing the app I used it to listen to a couple of tunes then exited the app. Since then I noticed my battery useage has gone crazy, in the space of a couple of hours my phone went from 79% to 42% and I never even used the phone during that time. My battery normally lasts between a day and a couple of days at a time between charges.
Thinking it may be something to do with the music junk app I went back to the market to see if anyone else having similar problem and got a page saying link invalid. Tried to find the publishers website and that seems to be gone as well ! Anyone else experienced high battery consumption with this app ?
Hmm..never had that here, but I've posted a link to my copy if you like to uninstall and re-install

I haven't gotten a chance to see how much of an affect this app has on battery life as I've just installed it, but I have noticed that it constantly runs on my phone. It starts on boot and will reopen itself if I kill the app with task killer even though I haven't even used the app. Anyone have any idea why this app needs to constantly run in the background?
Installed the app but it shows network error whenever I search or select a song from catalog.
Edit: it works now! I don't know what happened yesterday.
Thank you so much...

Hello,
I have recently bought galaxy note, which was already 1.5 year old.
I've heard that the users had to change the battery after 1 year of using.
So here's my problem.
The phone needs 2h to charge the battery from about 5% to 100% and I can use it only for 3h when the screen is on whole time.
Watching a movie uses about 35%.
My dad has note 2. He can use it whole day long and his batt isn't empty by the evening. Ok it has 3100mah instead of 2500, but the difference shouldn't be so big?
Here are some screenshots:

You think my battery is dead?
Are there some special behaviours that indicate the battery is old already?
Cause I remember there were some on my old X10.
Also could You post some of Your battery stats if possible?
You can look for background apps. But if the battery is old it will be like that.

I already did. When the screen and wifi are of the battery lasts good. But whenever some activity is there it goes down like hell.
So would You recommend replacing it?
Usually yes..

Nope, new battery hasn't improved the battery life
What battery did you buy and what rom/kernel are you on?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I was on cm10.2. The battery lasted 3h when screen was on.
I bought for 100% original battery and went back to ics. I also removed as many as possible autostart apps. Now the battery lasts about an hour longer.
Whenever I turn on the WiFi the battery drain increases rapidly.

Does anyone use the app autoguard? Its a dashcam app and I haven't been able to get it to run correctly on the Note 4. Tried kitkat and lollipop stock and the video mode looks like it has a filter over it. The picture isn't clear at all. I'm wondering if its a problem with my hardware, could someone test on their phone?
it works perfectly on my phone. i downloaded and ran it for 5 minutes on my note 3
i use it daily on my note 2 as a dedicated dashcam. love the app. has saved my job 2 times.

Have you used on your note four? On mine it looks like the lens is dirty, especially in low light. How many scene modes can you chose? I only see "Auto" and "HDR".

I wonder if my issue is hardware. I'm rooted on stock lollipop. Are you rooted or running a custom rom?
rooted. firekat. no issues using autoguard

BAD ASS NOTE 4
Strange, it was the first app installed after lollipop upgrade and a phone reset. Yet I still have this weird filter like effect over the video. It's mostly noticeable only indoors, but still....
What are the chances this is a hardware defect on my device? Tried numerous other camera apps but they all look normal.

hi,
i had something similar,
For me it was either Hi Locker lockscreen or/ Omni Swipe alternatively Locker Master apps..( same app developers) . If you select speed, it should clear Ram etc.
I switch option off in the app, but again top right corner 3 dot, i also had to switch it off, again. Every now and then it might appear.
(To me, it's a type of "spam" service)
Good luck

I'd rather keep the percentage and hide the battery icon.
