Hi!
Since last 2 weeks I'm suddenly experiencing weird problem without making any changes in the phone.
The problem:
When enabling wifi it freezes in wifi settings page (whole Settings app is freezing and needs restart). Not displaying list, just "enabling wifi..." message and app freezes in that moment. Waiting very long dosen't help. Phone is draining battery incredibly fast in that condition.
1. Switching Wifi On/Off - works.
2. when starting the phone - sometimes wifi starts and works,
3. when loosing wifi signal of connected network (going from place to place) - always wifi freezes and stopps to work.
I've done factory reset, cache format, I'm using CM 10.2-201312221-NIGHTLY now and before I've used stable cm-10.1.3. No difference. Is there a way I can solve or debug the issue?
Thank you very much for help!
This problem started last week.
It started when I noticed that my Nexus 6 cannot connect to my car's bluetooth. At first I thought it was the car since the bluetooth icon on my phone is on.
Then I realized that it was my phone, After a restart, it would connect again.
Now most of the time it won't connect automatically, I have to try to toggle the bluetooth on the phone on and off to try to connect. But when I try to toggle it on and off, it would be very slow to toggle or even won't toggle at all.
So now I'm noticing that after the phone is idle/sleep, the bluetooth won't connect. And when I try to turn it off, sometimes it won't turn off. Sometimes it says it's off from the setting but the bluetooth icon is still on top. Sometimes after it's off, it won't turn back on for a couple of minutes. So it would take more than 5 minutes after turning it on.
It was working perfectly before, it's just started last Sunday.
Any help would be helpful . Thanks

I have the exact same issue. I have a Nexus 6 (Verizon) and a 2011 Ford Sync. No problem at all before the recent update.

Same exact issue as above. My Nexus 6 will not auto connect via bluetooth to my Pioneer 8500BHS unless I reset the phone. It was working fine until last week. When this is happening I can turn bluetooth off, but then it will not come back on unless I reset.

My phone has exactly the same issue

+1 Same here....
Approximately it started in this month.... every 1-2 days my bluetooth is stopping to work. And the only way to restore it - reboot!
Well, can't speak for everyone, but a simple cache clear with twrp fixed my bluetooth issues

I had the same problem since the latest Android update. I cleared the cache and data in the Bluetooth Share app in: Settings/Apps/All/Bluetooth Share
After a restart, no more bluetooth connection problems.
Yes, clearing cache seems to be working...
Thanks
Wiping cache and dalvik fixes most anything that is not an actual code bug. Should be first step in any attempt to troubleshoot.

Hahaa. Anytime your device changes on it's own something is locked in logic. Same as on PC need to at least reboot. Clearing your dalvik/art/cache unlocks whatever is hung up as it has to reload from scratch.

Clearing the cache worked for me as well. Thanks.
Turbo automatically changes from Priority mode to All when fully charged?
I seem to be having an issue with my phone automatically changing from the Priority mode to the All mode for notifications. This happens every morning (presumably after the phone has finished charging completely) and is REALLY annoying. I always change it to Priority mode indefinitely when I realize that it has switched, but doing this every day has been a pain, especially since I don't want my phone to go off at work. I've tried wiping the system cache, but that hasn't helped.
Has anyone had this issue? If so, is there any way to fix it without doing a factory reset?

Take a look at the configuration on Interruptions and on the Moto app; after Lollipop update, these two are not getting along really good and they produce some weird behaviour.
Hi community!
I've recently gotten my 2nd refurbished HTC One M7..
Here's a list of problems I am having using it:
-Power button is broken, so infra-red isn't working and I can barely turn the phone off/on with that button
-There is a custom rom installed, called soul rom/kernel, which is poorly translated and I can't find any English stuff about it only a Chinese site which I can't understand.. This soulrom causes the battery to last way shorter than the last one did, and it also causes the phone to overheat, a lot. Even though I put the soulrom -> kernel Thermal settings on Extra cool..
-The rear-camera is broken, not focussing, blurry and making a buzzing noise
-Phone calls don't work, only work with earphones. I can't hear the person who calls and they can't hear me..
-Since today, the Wi-Fi isn't working, so I can only use mobile network data which costs me quite some money..
The Wifi problem is this: Wi-Fi says it is turning on, but I can't stop it from turning on, and it is stuck on turning on, it won't turn on or off at all, I have tried airplane mode, rebooting, safe mode rebooting, hot reboot, rebooting from bootloader, rebooting from recovery, quite about everything..
I have searched quite a few forums and threads.. The power button issue is hardware-related so there is no fix for that probably..
The rom is fine but that might be the problem for phone call and/or wifi issue.. Might be..
Could use any help!
Thanks, Patrick.
On my phone the wifi toggles off and on repeatedly.
It toggles on for one second then off for one second then the cycle repeats.
The only way to make it stop is to activate airplane mode.
If I turn airplane mode off (to talk, text, etc.) the cycle continues.
I therefore cannot use internet unless I am using LTE and I get very rapid battery drain.
Any proposed solution to said problem?
do you have the latest version of marshmallow installed?

I have not received an OS update since September.
This is a very bizarre issue.
The wifi just perpetually toggles off and on without explanation.

Were you able to fix the problem? I would backup your contacts, pictures and anything else you might keep exclusively on your phone or do not want to lose and then go into recovery mode. Perform wipe cache partition (this is your system cache or /cache). If this does not fix the problem after reboot, go back into recovery mode and perform a wipe data/factory reset. Again, backup everything beforehand as this will format your /data, /cache and /sbfs partitions so everything will be cleared. After reboot, it will behave as if it was just turned on for the first time. Your system version/build will be the same as your last update in September.
Here are some videos if you have never used recovery mode before.
