hey guys,
my lumia 830 suddenly restarted by itself (I was not doing anything on the phone, it was Idle)
and it boots up to nokia logo and sometime the windosphone logo and restarts again.
it's like a never ending loop. just restarts over and over !
I unplugged the battery and replugged it. after pressing start button. the same thing.
it just keeps restarting for ever.
Hard reset didn't solve it.
Is this a software problem or a hardware one ?
P.S : I downloaded a firmware of lumia 830 (with a different product code to what is written on the phone's backcase)
and flashed with windows recovery tool and it didn't work. the same thing.
I flashed again with nokia care suit and the same thing !!
P.S 2: I did flash the correct firmware of my phone with windows recovery and with care suit an also in uefi mode.
nothing works.
If anybody has any ideas, please help me
It's like this :
The phone is off, I press the power button. It boots up and windows logo shows up.
after two seconds on windows logo the screen goes off and phone vibrates and nokia logo comes up.
and this process continue until the full discharge.
I don't think if there were any problem on flashing. I flashed using different softwares and it showed the installation page.
after full flashing screen got green and I rebooted phone via Thor2 and here it goes again on that loop.

Hi
I bought a Lumia second hand and it has the Demo ROM installed.
I've read the forums and found suggestions to try the NOkia recovery tool, which I did.
Downloaded the ROM, it went to install but stopped at 1% and error'd. clicked recover but it would not do anything. Sceen blank.
Phone will not not turn on. It vibrates when i plug into USB. tried Power and volume down, also nothing.
Downloaded the Care Suite, when i plug it in it says its in flash mode (I believe as cant see the whole field)
Can you advise on how I may be able to recover the phone?
many thanks
Rob
Hi,
You have tried this tutorial?
And what is your Hardware Product Code?
Hi
I have tried that method
I get as far as selecting recovery mode. Setting it to no connection. But it is unable to see the device to flash the firmware. It keeps prompting to do the power and volume down. When I do this nothing happens so it keeps prompting
Thanks!
I'm afraid your Lumia is effectively dead. Either change the motherboard, either make repair in specialized service.
Hi, I sorry to bother anyone, but I need help because my phone is not responding and I don't know what to do.
C6603, rooted, dual recovery installed, bootloader unlocked (I think)
So here's what happened. I very successfully installed the existenz ultimate rom on my phone. It was a wonderful rom and everything was going well. However, I accidentally dropped my phone and needed to send it for repair. Before sending it to the shop, I decided to do a factory reset using the option in recovery mode.
When I got the phone back from the repair shop, I wanted to install the same rom. What I did was download the rom installer and then install the zip file using the recovery mode. I went through the AROMA installer and everything, So I thought everything was going fine. When the phone rebooted, it showed the SONY logo, followed by a permanent black screen. The screen is on, it is just black.
I scoured the xda forums and I tried several things, to no avail:
I cannot enter recovery mode.
My PC cannot recognize my phone.
Flashtool cannot recognize the phone. My phone can't seem to enter flashmode, either.
I tried holding the power button and the vol. up button, and the phone does indeed restart (no vibrations), showing the SONY logo, and then I'm stuck with the black screen again.
I hope somebody can help me!
EDIT: I managed to somehow get flashmode working, so I think my phone is fine now! What a false alarm! In case this ever happens to anyone, what I did was to unplug the phone from any source of charging, then proceed to hold on the power button and vol. up button for REALLY long, I think almost 20 seconds. This managed to switch my phone off (it would keep restarting if I didn't hold in down long enough).
download stock firmware and open flashtool & ready to flash, dont connect until it say.connect your usb cable to ur phone, then reboot ur phone when display goes to black connect ur phone to pc whith pressing vol down ,then flash tool detect ur phone and it flash, sorry foe my bad english
Hi,
I tried to root my phone using TWRP, ADB & Fastboot but my phone is stuck in boot. It restarts as soon as the Acer logo is displayed. Then, I tried flashing the Stock ROM for my phone using SP-Flash-Tool-v5.1532.00. I tried selecting 'Download and System.img' in the tool but it showed an error "Please select a ROM first". I selected Recovery. Flashing showed error. Then I selected system.img and Boot. An error was displayed. Then again, I selected System.img,boot,recovery. Flashing was successful but my phone didn't boot.
Then, I tried Firmware upgrade option but an error was displayed by the tool. At last, I selected 'Download only' option with (lk, boot, recovery, logo, secro, system). Flashing showed download OK. I disconnected the USB. Tried switching on my phone. I pressed the power button. My phone vibrated but the screen is blank.
My phone now vibrates then pauses for 7sec then vibrates again. The screen is blank all the time. I tried removing the battery and power on with battery but still the phone vibrates, pauses for 7sec and vibrates again. No display.
I also charged the phone using the phone charger for 2 hours with a little break in between.
I also tried Formatting using Flash Tool < Format tab < Format flash except bootloader. The format was success and I flashed using the Original ROM files (lk, boot, recovery, logo, secro, system) again but still the phone doesn't boot. I also charged the phone. When charging, the phone vibrates, pauses and vibrates again without display.
Once I disconnect the charger, the screen is blank. When I power on, the phone vibrates, pauses and vibrates again without any display. Only blank screen.
Now I don't know what else I can do? If anyone knows how to proceed, please help me fix this.
My phone details are below :
Model Number: T04
Android version: 5.1
Kernel version: 3.10.65
Image version: Acer_AV0L0_T04_RV01RC07_IND_GEN1

Thanks.
Can anyone please help me?

Guys, HTC 626ph is restarting again again. Can not go to hard reset menu or fast boot mode it,when i press the a volume down and power button it appears and phone is restating. I tried by replacing battery , same thing happens again. Firmware can not be installed because it is not going to fast boot mode, it restarting and HTC logo appear and it restating. How should I solve this??
Same thing happened to me. I flashed it with sp flash tool, but now the screen just lights up and restarting. any ideas
Hi all,
I have a 5033D that I tried flashing with a GSI ROM (ver32 - AOSP 8.1) via Fastboot and it failed. I rebooted the device too quickly before realising there was a failure.
Now the phone is stuck in a boot loop. It will not go into Recovery or Fastboot.
When I press the power button (or any other combination) without USB connected it vibrates and stays blank.
When I plug it into USB and to a PC, it vibrates and shows the Logo, and goes into boot loop - vibrates, logo, vibrates, reboots (repetitively).
When I plug it into USB charger, it vibrates and shows the Logo, and goes into boot loop - vibrates, logo, vibrates, reboots (repetitively). It comes to a point where it shows that it is in Fastboot Mode, but when I plug it into a PC it gets rebooted out of Fastboot so I can't flash it or detect it in Fastboot.
Can I officially say this is bricked beyond rescue?
Thanks all!
Hello,
No. Try the Mobile Upgrade S Gotu2 5.4.8 tool to recover your phone. Remove the battery and ignore the instructions saying that you have to have your battery inserted.
You should be able to recover it.

Thanks! That worked.
I actually did try using the tool before, but it kept telling me that I already had a newer version of ROM installed and exited the program. But thanks to you I realised I was using version 5.3.5. The "newer version" error message makes sense now.
