hello everyone... I have a weird question...
as you know (if you're using p8 lite) when the phone is compeletely turned off, and you plug in the charger, there is an animation showing that the phone is charging.
since it's an animation, it is a file (.gif, avm e.t.c), it must be stored somewhere...
so, it is somehow possible to delete the that file?
or for example the booloader... when you're entering the fastboot mode, you see a white screen, with the writing (phone unlocked (yes I've unlocked my bootloader))
how can you delete the bootloader?
is it even possible?
(no I don't want to do that, I'm just curious)
Try it and let us know

Hello.
I`m new to this development world, so i`ll try to describe what i did(P7-L10, EMUI 3.0):
1. I rooted the phonewith RootGenius, RootChecker confirmed.
2. I tried to unlock the bootloader with "EZ UNLOCkER", the status remained unknown, but it said(in the middle of the screen, small note) that the "device is now unloced" or something like that.
3. Then I tried to enter recovery mode (switched the device off, then pushed volume up, volume down and power button together, but it didn`t even show the Huawei logo or vibrate, the only thing it did: it blinked its led: red, green, green, red, green, green etc.)
What have I done and how can i get it back working?
Best wishes,
Uku.
Well, didn't you bother that EZ unlock is for Galaxy S3 phone???
You have bricked your device. Bring it to service. I presume, they will offer replace of system board, I hope warranty is not over yet? Otherwise the repair price will be comparable to device cost.
oh well, thank you. Took it to warranty and told them i have no idea what happened (update failed ors.) They accepted it even though there was crack on the back side. Lets see
Its not briked..
Try to put it via USB cable on a PC. Then wait......after 15min disconnect it. Then try to bring it up into fastboot mode and flash bootloader.img via fastboot.

It won't help.
It would...i had the same after an failed flash.
In case of boot image, yes it would, but not in case of other. But I doubt very much that EZ lock touches boot.
He can try it... Better than a new phone. I dont know what EZ does in detail. But if he can put the phone on, he can reflash it and all will be good. If not and the phone still not show anything - bye bye p7.
Hello folks,
so a friend of mine is a complete noob and have this problem with his p9 plus.
The phone keeps rebooting itself in an endless loop, i can't access recovery and only when plugged in to the PC i can access fast-boot.
Phone is locked, FRP Lock.
With getvar command i managed to get this info:
rescue_phoneinfo: VIE-L09C113B170
seems that there is no full zip of this rom anywhere just partial ota (found those with firmware finder) but even with that when i try to flash recovery i get command not allowed.
On the fastboot screen of the phone i have this reboot reason AP_S_PANIC
anyone knows a how to get the phone out of this? (i was thinking that maybe unlocking the bootloader could be of any use, but in the request page it's needed the Product_ID and i don't have it. (can't *#*#1357946#*#*)
I don't know if it does work in a locked bootloader.
I have my P9+ for a week and maybe if you download a firmware compatible with your version and try to 'hard' update the phone, using a SD card with a update file on a dload folder and restarting the phone pressing VolUp + VolDown +Pwr, you can restore your friend's phone.
I'm sorry if I didn't help, I am myself stucked trying to rollback my version to MM and have the NFC and the Bluetooth working again...
myself also got this problem..please anyone..
Hi guys. I'm having a really strange status of bricking with my P9 lite (VNS-L23). Bootloader locked.
I was trying to reflash the nougat firmware of my phone (downloaded in the Huawei official web) through dload mode because it was locked due to Google Account.
Everything went correctly. When the dload mode's installation reached 100% of the upgrade, then the screen of my phone turned down and nothing else happened. I left it up to 1 hour, thinking it was finishing updating. No Huawei logo, anything.
Since then, my phone does not do anything, neither when i plug it to my wall charger.
Thanking god, my pc recognises it when I connect my mobile (although the screen continuous turned off).
So then I unpackaged the update.app with Huawei Update Extractor and tried to flash every image i got then, but it says me (remote: command not allowed).
The only two "codes" that works are fastboot devices (recognized correctly) and fastboot oem get-bootinfo (then says the that is locked, obviously).
So I do not know what to do
I've just tried <fastboot reboot> but also the command is not allowed.
(I hope my English was understanding at least)

Hi , in this case for revive the phone you need to unlock your bootloader device . How you can do? Use the tool called "Dc Unlocker " it's a paid service i warn you. With this tool you will able to read the bootloader code of the device. So after you have a bootloader code you need to unlock the bootloader through "ADB" , after do this , flash an recovery modded , like Twrp . After do this , wipe all device data and flash a new custom rom , i advise you to flash the Elite Rom 7.7 by HassanMirza , is the best.
Two things are visible from display:
1. I can switch to fastboot mode when I press the volume down button. As you can see here.
2. I can see mobile charging with a charging rectangle logo on the screen. If its charged, then I see this.
Other details:
1. The phone is newly bought from Amazon from India. And got it in Nepal. So it's hard to return to customer care.
2. According to the phone owner (my friend), the OS "he thinks" was Android Pie.
3. The phone was working fine until then it was like in this condition. Nothing was done.
That's all I know.
Let me know if u need more info. Like terminal output, screenshot, pics, etc anything that can help to figure out what happened.
Note:
1. As mentioned in the title, yes, Fastboot command is responding. But not any ADB command response.
2. I am using Ubuntu 19.10 to do everything. But unfortunately Mi Unlock Tool is not available for Linux distros.
3. The only way to shut down this phone is to wait for its battery to reach 0% unless u know fastboot command to shut down the phone.
4. Mi Unlock tool is the only way to unlock the bootloader. I think.
Thanks in advance.
Hm, I guess you cannot boot twrp?
Probably the bootloader is locked, usb debugging and oem unlocking never turned on, right?
(If so) Sounds like the only way could be edl (Option 2):
https://www.google.de/amp/s/www.magnetforensics.com/blog/qualcomm-phone-edl-mode/amp/
P.S.:
The Mi tool is not the only way to unlock the bootloader, but if you would need the settings I named above to be on. I did it with fastboot commands on Linux as well, but as you can't access system, and you can't turn them on, this won't work in your case
Hi
I installed twrp on my honor play COR-l29 with the locked bootloader. I wanted to find the old recovery so I flash an image that I found on the internet, but I had to flash it in the wrong place. Now my phone doesn't want to start even in FRP mode. So I connect my phone to my computer by disconnecting the battery and it did not have a screen ignition, while it should turn on.
i need help please it's very urgent i need it for school.
Is it possible to apply the video method on my honor play. And have the appropriate files.
