Hello guys! My Galaxy has turned off itself while charging. I've tried to turn on, it starts and freeze with SAMSUNG logo. I removed the battery, then I tried to turn on the phone again, in different ways, charging, recovery, bootloader, with no results... Samsung logo no longer appears. I checked the battery in another device that worked. May be the main board broken?

Hi, I have Samsung Galaxy s GT-I9000 for a while now on a Slim 3.1.0 official rom. I turned my phone off so I could charge it, but when connected to charger it would not charge, so I tried to charge it throu usb on my PC, but nothing happened. Then tried to turn it on to see if maybe it charged a bit, but the phone just enters boot loop ( galaxy screen and semaphore kernel screen ) and if it is connected to charger it just ads battery screen to loop. I can't find similiar problem on forum, so any help will be appreciated, thanks!
Hi guys,
I need some help here. I recently bought galaxy mini, and yesterday, it just won't start, or let's say, won't even charge. I wasn't playing with custom roms etc.
I put it on charge, and it just shows battery with grey circle, and it turns off in less than 5 seconds. It can go to download mode, but again, it turns itself off. Have no idea what do to, to fix it.
AW: [Q] Phone turns itself off, can't boot
Maybe battery problem?
Hi,
Have been using my S3 Mini fine for a couple of months now, running Maclaw's CM 11.0 mod. However, about 30 minutes ago the device freezed and rebooted, and now I'm stuck in the infamous boot loop. I'm seeing the "Samsung Galaxy S III Mini GT-I8190" screen, which is shown for between 30 seconds and a minute, and then the device automatically reboots.
I know how to boot to recovery mode and download mode, but the problem is that my phone doesn't want to ... I cannot turn off the device: if I remove the battery and put it back in after a couple of minutes, it automatically boots. I have tried all sorts of timings and pressing the recovery/download mode buttons before/during/after putting the battery, it just gets stuck at the boot screen :/
Any ideas how I can recover from this? Force the phone to power off completely, or enter recovery/download mode from the boot screen?
Thanks!
Update: it gets better/worse: when the battery runs out, the damn thing finally turns itself off. When it's shut down, I can boot it to download mode, recovery mode is not working. Ofcourse, I cannot stay for longer than about a minute in download mode, since the battery is empty ...
Plugging the device in to charge it: starts charging a bit, then automatically boots and gets stuck in the boot loop again ...
Update2: what the f ... Completely frustrated, I just unplugged the phone, upon which it restarted ... and loaded my OS. And then shut down again ofcourse, because of empty battery. I'm completely frustrated AND baffled right now
Hi,
so I charged my Note (running some cm10 stable release) over night, using my ipad charger (5.2V, 2.4A) as I sometimes do, and the next morning the phone was stuck at the unlock pattern screen but didn't react to any inputs.
After rebooting the initial n7000 screen and the CM loading animation appeared. The phone never booted, though and reverted back to the n7000 screen and stuck there. Tried to reinsert the battery (also tried with a different one) but the phone only got to the n7000 screen the first 2 times and got stuck there. Now the phone doesn't even do that. Just black screen and no sign of life. Tried removing the SD and also getting into recovery and download mode to no luck.
Any ideas what else I could try?
Thanks!
