Hey, I got my Xiaomi Mi5 a little over a week ago and recently noticed that a few times a friend has sent an SMS and I have not received it. Unfortunately I am unable to replicate the problem.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and managed to fix it?
I am currently on MIUI version 7.2.4.0.0 (MAACNDB) <-- Installed by vendor but I'm not sure if that could be causing the problem. I have not switched yet as it would ruin any chance at returning the phone.
I have made a switch back to the default SMS app (I was using Google Messenger) but am not sure if this has fixed the problem yet.
Any help regarding the issue or speculation if this is a hardware or software problem would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi, I am having the same issue.
Did you find a solution?

Hey guys, I'm having a SMS timestamp issue since rooting and installing SenseUI rom and CM rom.
Note, this did -not- happen on the stock n1 rom. I'm currently in China using China Mobile so I haven't been able to test this back in the states (TMobile) yet.
Basically, when I send a message to anyone (android, iphones, etc), their received timestamp of my message is 7-8 minutes in the past. Obviously this is quite the annoyance for threaded messages on smartphones. I can replicate this by sms'ing my own phone and the timestamp of the received message is 8 minutes before I sent it.
I've tried everything I can think of. I've even nandroid restored my original backup and the issue is still happening. I've turned on/off the "get time from network" settings, updated radio and redowngraded, tried 3-4 different roms, but nothing is working.
Anyone seen this before or have any ideas? Frustrating the hell out of me!
anyone have any ideas?
Hi.
I'm experiencing a problem on my Samsung Galaxy S with official Froyo (through Kies).
My friends are telling me that I'm resending messages. That happens when I turn on the Galaxy; it usually resends the last 2/3 messages that I sent before I turned off the phone (even when the message delivery is successful).
Is someone experiencing something like this? Does anyone knows how to fix it?
Thank you very much for your help.

Could be a network problem. I have seen a few networks which resend messages. Are you being charged for all of them or just one?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Thank you for your reply.
Fortunately SMSs are free on my plan, so I can't be sure if I'd be charged. This never happened before when I had my old N70, so I'm assuming it's not a network problem. Since I bought the phone recently I really think it is upgrade-related, because no one ever told be of resent messages when I had Eclair.
I can't be sure, though. I thought someone would be having this issue as well.

Hi, I got the same issues and tried yesterday a dozen things to get it work but I achieved nothing.
I also found this thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/help/pushbullet-mightytext-issues-honor-8-t3473695
Seems to be a known error on Huawei/ Honor devices, unfortunately.
I'm not sure but I guess it worked before I updated to the Nougat/ Emui 5 beta.
Hope a following update will solve this problem. We'll see
Hi everyone,
Note 9 exynos user here. I've came up to the problem where I can't find emergency alarms/amber alarms settings in my phone. Have looked in the messages app settings, but they are not there. Also checked all the possible settings in phone, but I can't seem to find them... So I guess they are not written in my phone. Has anybody faced this kind of problem? How do you solved it? Does phone need reflashing another version or what?
I've flashed Project Elixir yesterday and during the Google Acc setup , I've encounter a bug not really sure if it is I can't receive google verificiation codes and I though it was a ROM problem so I decided to switch to Depfest both running on android 12L and it also occurs. Well it's not really a problem tho there's some workaround but I wonder if anyone also encounter this problem?, and what are the fix?
