Rooting you won't lose any data. To unroot you always can flash your firmware again using odin. :good:

No you don't if you don't do a factory reset, but to root you just need to flash a .zip using recovery, it's easy.
I rooted my s advance, unrooted and all ok.Thank you very much.

Ok I am not an expert but first thing is if u are flashing a custom kernel then your bootloader must be unlocked.Since you have a locked bootloader so u have to flash recovery for locked bootloaders only else ur phone will not boot. Also being on a locked bootloader, u cannot flash roms like aosp(cm,aokp, pac etc.) U can only flash stock based roms which don't require u to flash custom kernels.

Why you wanna downgrade?
Anyway, before any downgrade process, be sure to wipe all data.
If you don't wipe data you will have problems with nfc firmware causing in a bootloop
Sent from my Xperia Z using XDA Premium 4 mobile app.

Hi Techno,
How exactly did you do it? it's been so long since i used to play with rooting phones. and i found one phone that made me wanna root. Moto E4 plus. after all the steps, now am stucked to TWRP. i tried to flash magisk but still goes back to twrp.
TWRP: twrp-3.2.3-0-nicklaus
instead of: twrp-3.2.3-1-nicklaus, issue file too large
i'm not trying to revert back to original, im still pushing to root the phone. but, im stucked.
what could i possibly have done wrong?
Thanks in advance!
