I know it's possible to change the bootanimation, but changing it won't change the image shown when you turn on the tablet. Is it possible to change it? If so, how?
Yes it is possible.
By editing the bootloader, it's doable, but you have a very high risk of a hardbrick.

I need help I have a PIN set on my lock screen but recently there's a part of the screen that doesn't work so that said I cant input the PIN cause of this. I want to get by pass the lock screen without having to delete anything on my phone specially my photos. I have an Atrix HD [MB886]. It is rooted. I put custom ROM with kitkat. Really need help with this. How can I do this?

Have you tried wiping data? and photos are on your sd card/internal storage, which is not your system, data, or cache partitions.
or if ur phone is rooted then there are a lot of tutuorials to tell you how to bypass it

Aside from switching carriers, there is no way except rooting
I am aware that Soldier has found a way to change the warning screen, does anyone have information on how to make a custom warning screen?
Also has anyone managed to change their boot animations?
For anyone interested in changing the warning screen, soldier says you need to edit the UP_PARAM.bin.
