Since xposed is not available for any of the "N" realeases yet I'm not sure how to get an exchange bypass. I do not like the "alternative" apps that are out there as none of them have proven as reliable as gmail and prebuiltexchange.apk with the xposed mod.
Has anyone found a working exchange bypass for Androind N...? if so where?
Not available on Android N yet....
There is an xposed mod that so far has worked since Lollipop, maybe earlier. It has been flawless for a couple years.
Exchange Bypass for Lollipop.
Found this.....
Found this...
Seems to work just fine so far. Had to uninstall gmail but the Email.apk works the same.

Hi everyone.
I'm really confused now, because several apps like pocket auctions and barcode scanner and a few more seems to be in a "cannot find it" mode, because after my factory reset on my hero, when I search the marlket it doesn't show up.
And yes, I've tried several approaches but still...nothing.
After several hours online searching, all I found was an old, buggy version of the app for ebay, wich didn't work properly, the barcode scanner seems to have vanished into thin air.
Does anyone know/experience the same?
Any solutions?
Can someone maybe post the apk file for the newest apk file?
Please reply to this, thank you.
Btw. I'm running the modaco 3.0 rom.
I too am using MCR 3.0 and I'm experiencing the same problem: can't see all apps, for example barcode scanner...
Does anyone have any suggestion?
Now I've tried downgrading my phone to MCR 2.8 without any changes to the market problem.
I installed the rooted version of the latest official htc hero software, and guess what...no luck.
I've even changed the recovery image from cyanogens 1.4 + jf to the RA-hero-v1.5.2, then installed the different roms after wiping every time.
I'm starting to think the apps has been removed from market, but since I find them on the android market website (from my puter without the download opportunity) I'm just confused.
hm no idea sorry, but you could try market enabler, which changes the country the market thinks your in! maybe they stopped showing those apps to your country or something idk but id try it! (need root which im assuming you have)
Hmmm....
I think it's the numbnuts at google that's the problem.
I have two gmail adresses, when I use nr 1 everything works fine, but with the other one the market problem really annoys me.
And even better, the second mail adress is the one I'm using on both phones and EEE puter.
The first mail adress where market shows everything, was not intended for my phones.
Yesyes, sounds like a stupid problem, but still, open source is open source, and if google somewhat had blocked my "phone's email adress" then they should call it partially random open source!
DAMMIT this pisses me off, I've used two whole days reading online to fix this.
I hope that it is another problem and not the email adress that's somewhat blocked partially from the market app.
Does anyone know if the barcode scanner and pkt auctions ebay are protected apps ?
EDIT 1:
Now I've tried using my HTC Touch Pro running the Android port lying around in here and another place
On that phone, using both my email adresses works, wich even the one that doesn't work on my hero works on the android port on the touch pro.
This is just something that frustrates me more and more, and I'm getting more and more confused now, this is REALLY weird.
Another thing is, I cannot find Market Enabler anywhere unless I wipe the phone and use another gmail adress.
I'm starting to suspect some kind of conspiracy here now !
So far I've created myself a new gmail for phone use, that is... for my android
Does any1 know if the G. guys register the mail adress in a database of some kind together with the uniqe android ID from the phone ?
I'm just trying to think outside the box here.
Since the problem with android market solves when I reset the google.apps in the settings->applications menu I guess there is some apple-like non-open source similar going on here, much like apple store and so on.
If this is not the case, please enlighten me.
And more important, please help us all with a solution to the problem.
For now whenever I want to look at apps, I have to change the gmail adress, reboot the phone and then search.
I can change the adress without booting the phone, find the "missing" apps in market but NOT install them.
Has anyone been unable to use their Citrix application since GB? It was working perfectly fine before I manually updated to Gingerbread.
Now I am getting a SSL error when I try to log into an application?
Anyone have any advice?
No advice that is helpful... but I know that Citrix on Android uses java's certificate store, and it is missing some root certificates typically found in other stores, which can cause SSL errors...
Just a Monday bump for this to see if anyone else is having this problem.
It seems to be working while on the company wifi. I guess the certificate is verified when on the secure wireless. When I'm on my own mobile data, I get no verification.
Same problem here. Been told you need to manually install the certificate on your phone. I will be trying this soon and let you know how it goes.
Edit: I think google actually reverted their certificate store in 2.3.3 to what was in 2.1. Most references to this issue indicate a server config change (cross-root) is required. Not sure if adding a cert on the phone will help, but I am still working through it.
Citrix released an update that addresses this. I updated and it works fine now for me.
Which update (for which Citrix product) was this problem fixed in?
Thanks!
I'm using Citrix Receiver v2.0.1063 and everything works fine, no problems at all.

Hello,
since 4.3/4.4 and the new hangouts, it is not possible to use the old google talk on newer android versions. Some ppl tried it here. It seems the only way is using an old play service, which can have other problems.
With hangouts the jabber support has been removed. So I can't use my icq/jabber bridge anymore. Using an alternative jabber client is an option, but there is no one with message sync between all clients (gmail interface, pc client, and android client). Gtalk is very simple but functional. Thats the last reason why I'm still on 4.1.2.
Here is my question: is it possible to implement an mod with the help of xposed to use the old talk on newer android versions without using an old google service? If it is.. is there someone who would develop this mod?
Thank you!

I tried and failed to pay with my rooted phone recently.
When I put my phone on the NFC pad, Android Pay popped up and told me that I can't pay with it because my phone it rooted.
Actually, I prefer Google Wallet over Android Pay, but it seems Android Pay just disables Google Wallet. Is there a way to disable Android Pay?
I deleted "Android Pay" app before. I checked that it is not in my all app list. Somehow it can still pop up.
Not sure if you noticed, but Google made the decision recently to separate Google Wallet into two separate apps. Wallet is now used only to send money to people, and Android Pay is required now to do NFC payments. As far as I know, there is no fix currently for rooted devices to use it as I have the problem as well. It's a shame too because I used NFC payments all the time before they changed the app.
Please though, if someone knows of a workaround to get Android Pay working I'd love you forever. I tried some of the suggestions in other threads saying to hide your root access and such, but none of it has worked so far.

Neither do they worked for me. I tried temporarily turning off root, RootBlock and No Device Check
My job allows accessing our Outlook and Skype accounts on our phones, but the apps won't complete setup with rooted phones. I have the last Pure Nexus 7.1 on my Nexus 6, with the latest Magisk running and I believe Hide is in affect. But I can't get the apps to finish setup before getting the error. Any thoughts on how to hide root from Outlook and Skype?
In on mobile so search is hard but search for intune in these forums. There is a module that will help with Outlook/Microsoft intune detecting root

For me it didn't worked but for some it does seem to work.
Oh thank you! This seems to be working for me.
