If so just interested in some pics of it or just some review, there doesn't seem to be much online about them.

Just got my case today from ballistic and it is great very heavy duty and lucky for me kid proof. Threw my phone down the basement steps and not a single scratch. I'll post pics and etc later on if possible.

looks like a nice case but seems too bulky. i like slim and sleek
I also use the Ballistic case, I love it!
My job is kinda rough on my phone so I needed something tough.
I could understand why someone might want something a little slicker, but if your likely going to bash around your phone unintentionally, I'd recommend this case highly! I like the bulky military look however and it makes the phone comfortable to hold.

Would you please post some pictures with your phone? Eventually while holding it in your hand? I want to make an impression of how it "feels". Thanks.
Never mind ... I've created my own pictures :

Apart from shipping, is there any way to get these at Best Buy, Target etc?
I absolutely love my ballistic case and I actually tested it by throwing my phone about 20ft across a parking lot and absolutely zero issues. Very rugged case that will protect your phone from just about anything
Its the best $25 I have spent lol have dropped phone can't tell u how many times and nothing it adds a lil bulk (nothin crazy) to the phone but the protection is well worth it

I have the case. I love how sturdy and solid it makes the phone feel. The bulkiness doesn't bother me. It's good a good grip and it feels nicer holding the phone with the case on it.
The only thing I don't like is that... since the edges sit up higher than the level of the screen (which is for protection, I know) it is kind of like a lint trap... I'm constantly blowing lint and crap off of my screen.
This Ballistic case fit also i9023 model?
Fits the phone and it's rock solid yet I don't think it looks that cool live since it's huge and those bumpers are lol. After mounting, the phone looks like a measurement instrument.
The rubber layer on the lower part of the phone is too close to the back and home buttons since you'll get an oval shape with the case on and the touching of those buttons aren't that comfy anymore.
Pro: -fits perfect (buttons, curves, no movement)
- high quality materials (similar to otterbox rubber/plastic if not same)
- makes the phone quite shock resistant, unless it falls on the screen
Con: - price
- it's huge
- the bumpers could be smaller
- there's no cover for the ports (ex.: otterbox commuter)
If somebody wants to use it for scratch protection i think the cheapest case will do. But if you do sports and/or work in above average conditions, then it's a good accessory.
Nice!!, but shouldn't that case come with pants with XXXL pockets?

Haha, seriously no joke!
I'd like to add only one 'con' for this case after using it for many months now.
The rubber corners seem to be fluff magnets when I put it in my pocket, can be quite annoying if you like a squeaky clean phone.
Saying that, because of this I have noticed that the case is EXCELLENT at not letting dust/crap touch the phone under the cover, very well sealed. Also, it's motivated me to keep my pockets fluff free, which is good!
I currently have the Case-Mate tough and don't think it could handle to much. I o ly want to spend around 25, and I can still return my case mate to amazon. Any sughestions would be great.

How tough? I feel like my otterbox commuter could handle a drop from ear height, but from what I hear, UAG is a better way to go.

I have never cared for otterbox, but I was thinking about the UAG just wanted more input. Doesn't need to be super tough just handle a fall if needed.

People say the UAG has almost the protection of a defender with the size of a commuter. I have no doubt that it could withstand a ear height drop. It's $20 on amazon.

Otteebox. Is the way to go. Have dropped my phone plenty of times. Glad I have this case way stronger than UAG. Uag does look nicer but I prefer having my phone WEELLLLL protected im sure u do to. Don't just wanr a case because it looks good. Want a case that will protect your phone from a fall.

I have both the commuter and defender cases from Otterbox. Both offer solid protection the defender I like more because of the built in screen protector. Keep in mind that the UAG cases don't offer port covers for the headphone jack and USB port which was a selling point for myself. Another key selling point was the customer service. Can't say anything though about UAG because I haven't bought their case nor dealt with their customer service. When I contacted Otterbox about an issue regarding the commuter cases they sent me a free warranty replacement as well as the defender case free of charge.

Do your homework before you buy. Customer support is important, and a big company like Otterbox has a great one based on the fact they are in every service provider store as well as every Best Buy. But the truth of the matter - they rushed with Note 2 design and FAILED to deliver with Defender. And because they are king-of-the-hill-Otterbox, they didn't even want to admit how poorly they executed design of that screen protector. Read hundreds of posts in XDA or AF, and read all Amazon review comments. EVERYBODY complains about screen protector not being flush with a Note 2 screen, thus being concaved up and leaving a gap in between making it feel like you are using $50 resistive touch screen device. Yes, I bought one from Verizon store, couldn't believe my eyes, called Otterbox and they pretended on the phone like have no idea what I'm talking about, sent me an email with case# to reply back with "pictures" so they can send me a replacement. I went back to Verizon store, and went through every Defender they had in stock - all the same problem with a screen protector. Turned on-line to read everybody having this problem and simply just popping out the plastic screen as soon as they buy it. Why would I want to buy $60 (MSRP price) case to destroy it in order to make it work for me? Furthermore, because of that concave up screen, it creates a suction effect through cutout holes in that screen protector, sucking in more dust that will require you taking case apart periodically to clean it up. Do you think those inner plastic case latches will last that long, with constant taking apart? Oh, and that plastic screen protector was awful with s-pen - leaving marks all over the place. And if you remove plastic screen protector - your inner plastic case fitting is not rigid anymore (read about people suggesting to put a tape inside). Port cover-plugs are great in dust environment, but when you are using your phone as GPS in the car and need it to be plugged in - it will become a huge nuisance, not to mention pressure that micro-usb port cover puts on the connector, in both Defender and Commuter. And with Commuter, I personally found back of the case to be slippery and no grip with a surface when you place it on the smooth table top.
If you read testimonials of people who own UAG and dropped their case numerous times, they walk away without a scratch. UAG design is rugged tough and you get a convenience of a molded single piece case where you don't have to take layers off to get to your battery. If you need a super-duper drop protection case, go with CONVERT which offer multiple layers of protection, all the port coverage INCLUDING camera, has a great kickstand, can be stripped down to SURFACE if you don't need all this extra rugged coverage, and has one of the BEST holsters with a locking spring-loaded latch. Just need to invest in a good regular screen protector, like iSmooth which I also highly recommend (3H hardness, easy install with no bubbles, perfect edge adhesion).
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking Otterbox down. Its a great company with a great reputation and TONS of sales. That's how they can afford to have such a great support staff and offer warranty replacement and freebies without breaking their bank. They obviously built their reputation of a quality product delivered for all these other phone models, and have a decent iPhone base support. BUT, with Note 2 they rushed to deliver it to the market, and totally ignored all the negative comments. And this is not just my humble opinion. It's everywhere you read about their Note 2 cases. I tried Commuter a couple of times in Sprint store, and walked away. Bought Defender from Verizon store, exchanged it, and then returned a few days later...
three excellent cases for the delightfully successful Galaxy S2 that will keep your precious safe and sound. Whichever you pick – the dual-layer Case-Mate Tough, the feature-filled Otterbox Commuter or the stylish SGP Ultra Capsule – you can be sure that your smartphone is secure.
Looking for a case that's:
1. Rugged (at least decent shock impact)
2. Somewhat slim
3. Not too pricey

And

Anyone know which case or of another have the best combination of shock impact without being too thick?
Thanks.

I have the case from the first link you posted. I've had no problems whatsoever thus far. The belt clip is really secure and the silicon not only covers the phone but it serves as a border around the screen so if you drop it the screen won't even touch the floor really. The case is decent too. Definitely worth $13.

It's not bulky. You can trust the reviews on amazon for the case. It's worth it especially for the price.
I have the otterbox defender series. Due to the design of the case, There's a bubble in the screen protector. I simply poped it out and replaced it with a zagg screen protector. Search ebay, I only spent $30. Still waterproof and my 3 kids literally throw my phone across the room and it's still in brand new condition

I almost went with the iBlason, but ended up going to Unicorn Beetle route. It's a nice case and I really like it. It's a tough TPU throughout with a polycarbonate slab on the back. Looks pretty nice and feels good in the hand--quality materials. The only thing is you have to shave the little inner button nubs off with a razor blade as the Amazon reviews mention.
Good luck deciding.

I own both, as well as just about every other case made for our phone...
I hate the i-Blason, and have since I took it out of the package. Nothing really wrong with it, just not my taste. Inner portion is too mushy, hard to slip it in and out of my pocket, and I don't think anyone would call it "thin".
For "thin and rugged" you are far better off with the SUPCASE. Also look at the TUDIA Ultra Slim Melody.

I have no G4 at the moment.. Just want to buy one. The availability of a waterproof case makes the difference. Lifeproof planned to build one for s6.. But right now g4 is my favorite buy.
I suppose at this point you need to look for a universal case such as this one http://www.amazon.com/JOTO-Universa...Motorola/dp/B00LBK7OSY/ref=zg_bs_9375358011_1
Up to 30 meters and fits phones up to 6 inch diagonal - if it fits the iPhone 6+, it'll fit the G4
There's tons of them on Amazon but that one looks like it's the bestseller with a very good rating.
I would like a lifeproof-like one

If you don't want to spend $100, Tanga sells universal velcro pouches. I capsized a canoe last weekend and it saved my phone. They are cheap but they work and for that price, you don't care if you lose them. At 2 for $9, you really can't go wrong.

I have the Joto pouch linked in this thread for my G4. The transparent window fits the G4 size perfectly. It is thick enough that you could put in a few credit cards and cash or key. Now the bad part is that the touch screen works well as long as the bag is dry. As soon as you go underwater or if the bag is really wet, the touch screen is mostly unresponsive. You might get lucky and get a few touches in but definitely no swiping action. I could use the camera by double tap the down volume button and take pics using the down volume button, but that's about it. If you are looking to check your email under water, forget about it. Oh and because you cannot tap to focus, the underwater pictures do not come out that great. Here is a pic of my pool vacuum in action.
This universal waterproof case http://www.witrigs.com/universal-waterproof-case-for-smart-phone-acid-blue is what i am using. And it's cheap now.

This case is NOT waterproof. I bought it from Amazon, which stated it was waterproof and I knew it wasn't to begin with because I had the same case for my LG G2. It is, however, one of the most durable cases I have ever owned.

Does the case can floating on the water?my girl friend buy a case for iphone 6 and her waterproof case cannot floating on the water...
Hard to find a waterproof case for G4,otterbox and arozell Tank could be a solution, yet from my experience both are not water-resistant instead waterproof, the difference is waterproof support diving into water and water resistance is for unexpected water such as rainwater and water splashing, so firstly you have to get to make it clear that what exactly your request.
Besides, lovemei powerful could be another solution for water-resistant,yet the love mei case would be a little bit akward with its triple protective design, some one may think there comes a bulky, yet its performance on protection is outstanding if you don't care the additional bulky as well as tiny mobile signal missing.
Arozell Tank: http://www.arozell.com/lg-g4-tank-armor/

Has anyone found something. I routinely check around each payday but after going through tons of "waterproof" cases which are actually "water resistant" and not waterproof... I'm not looking for a bag, but a case...
Hi guys and gals, it's been a while since I've done a case review and this time it's a case from French manufacturer Noreve, who are known for their hand made, premium and genuine leather cases.
This time around I decided to go for a pouch, as I wanted something different, and was also curious as to how it was going to be crafted, since these are all hand made. Why the pouch, you ask? Well I just think they look great. While not the most practical of cases maybe, as you have to take the device out each and every time you want to use it, and you can't use the always on display, I just think it looks elegant. Going out for the night? Throw this case on. I've found it to be great since you're not distracted when any notifications come in, and when you put it on a table, it just looks elegant like most other phone cases simply do not. I'm not a big fan of plastic cases because they make the device look cheap. Think about it, you buy a phone for nearly $800, then you put a $5 plastic case on it, which just looks terrible. In my opinion, it totally takes away from the phones metal and glass construction. Also with the S7 Edge, I love the way it feels in the hand naked, and with this case you always have that experience.
As always, this case from Noreve is also exceptionally well made. It took a few weeks for it to arrive, since they only start making them once you order one, and depending on the finish, it can take longer or shorter. But normally it's about two weeks, which is perfectly fine for a custom made, leather case.
Unboxing a Noreve case is always an event. It comes in a very handsome red box, which is sealed by plastic wrap. Inside the box, you'll find a protective red pouch for your case - this is a very nice touch, and I love that they do this, when they really don't have to. But the devil is in the details. Inside the pouch, you'll find your case - and the first thing that you'll probably notice is the brilliant smell of genuine leather. It just adds something to the overall experience that I enjoy.
The case is made exceptionally well. Noreve cases have always been constructed with very high attention to detail, but I believe it's even higher now as there are no flaws with the case whatsoever. Because this is a pouch style case, there are no cut outs for the camera, power or volume rocker buttons. None for the micro USB or headphone jack, either. The only cut outs are for the speakers on the bottom. I think this is perfectly fine, and whenever I wanted to charge the phone or plug in some headphones, I'd just reverse the phone and put it into the pouch in reverse. I found this to be a practical and easy solution.
In conclusion, I am pretty much blown away by this company yet again. Never received a bad case from them, they only seem to get better. Mine is in the Ambition (grained leather) finish, but Norever offer a whole bunch of different finishes which you can also then customize. Basically, the sky is the limit. These guys can do whatever you want. They're a bit on the pricey side (my case was $45.40 - free shipping with DHL) but as we all know, you get what you pay for. This is not one of those Chinese made, fake leather cases which will rip and tear after a few months. Hell, I'm still using the one I have for my Galaxy Nexus, which should say something.
Here are some pictures below of this beauty. Thank you all for reading, and here's a link to their product page.
Cheers.

The inner material is also leather, but more of a matte leather with the company logo branded into it. I'll try to get a picture up for you, but I haven't had any problems with it scratching the screen.

Honestly to me that looks like a recipe for disaster. If anything like a grain of sand gets in it, you are running the screen down the inside material and it could scratch it.
