Hi. Guess I brick my S5 Mini G800F. I root it couple days ago and everything worked fine, but this morning the display was black and the keys light, so I put the battery out for a restart. But there was no restart, phone is completely dead. Couldn't even charge the battery inside of the device. It was out from it for hours, but when I put it fully charged back into the device nothing happend.
When I try to flash any firmware Odin just say "ID:0/0006 Added" but then it stuck during "SetupConnection". Anything else I could try to bring it back to life?
Nobody?
If device is completely dead, how do you get the blue icon in Odin showing that device is connected and ready to flash? Are you sure it's in download mode? If yes, try another Odin version, cable and computer.
But it looks like a hardware failure, you need to send it for repair, unfortunately.
I don't think it's in download mode, but when I connect the phone Odin only show "added" if I plug in the battery to the phone. If I take out the battery it show "removed". ID:COM field is blue when it show "added".
It's Odin 3.10, which version should I try?

Was just able to flash a new firmware. I pressed the right buttons and bringt it to download mode. Then Odin starts flashing. But the display and LED seams to be dead. I hear the boot sound and Odin say Pass, but display doesn't show anything.
Any chance to delete all private data from the device without display, which keys do I have to press for that?

The odin doesnt work for me
It goes really fast and my phone never restarts.
My phone just stays on the downloading screen.
Am i using the right odin if not can any tell me where it is?
i got mine from here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797282
You have to start up Odin then plug in your phone while powered off, then using the button combos, vol up and down and power buttons held down at the same time when the battery charging icon flashes off for the second time release only the power button, within a few seconds you should see the download screen and Odin should see your phone, then hit start. The process should take about ten minutes, from the time Odin starts, your phone reboots and scans media.
Sounds like you had your phone in download mode before starting Odin. That is the correct Odin, check to see if Odin sees your phone forst by starting Odin and then while the phone is powered on plug it in. If Odin dosen't recognize your phone, you need the correct drivers found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=731989.
Hi people,
I have just got a Galaxy Tab just for kicks. It's a P1000L brazilian one.
I want to unbrand it (it's Claro branded, the operator took out Gmail and Gtalk, also assigned search to Yahoo instead of Google), so I have talked to a friend which also has a Galaxy Tab, same model, but unbranded, all Google apps inside.
My FW is (or was ) P1000LVJJJ4, and his FW is P1000LVJJM9, so I went to this thread at TheGalaxyTabForum, downloaded the P1000LVJJM9 FW, PIT file and ODIN 1.3.
http://www.thegalaxytabforum.com/index.php?/topic/112-samsung-galaxy-tab-firmware-list/
I have read about the process and started doing it. Here's what happened.
I haven't checked the partition option, just put the PIT file and the FW file in the correct fields, put my Tab in download mode, clicked start... and after some time, almost at the end, ODIN failed. My Tab got stuck in download mode, yellow triangle. I got it disconnected from the USB cable, than put it again. Restarted the process, but ODIN got stuck in setup connection.
I took my Tab off the usb cable again, it was still stuck in download mode, yellow triangle. Pressed the power button for a while, it has turned off completely. Now it's bricked, maybe dead. No life signal, nothing happens when I press any button or button combination, nothing is shown when connected to the charger or USB, not recognized in KIES and ODIN, nothing at all.
Is there any hope for me? What can I do to solve this?
i have the same problem, did u get any solution???
Hmm, if nothing happens on screen at all either when you plug it in or hold the power button, that's very bad...
Otherwise, I think the most you can do is either let it charge for I think a few hours and then see what happens
volume down + power
Tab will not respond but plug it in the pc anyway, odin will normally recognize it even without the "android shoveling" screen.
flash stock GB
download all the needed files from this page.

Greets.....
While flashing back to stock using Odin, something happened after the install and my phone ended up rebooting, and I have not been able to turn it on since.
-When attempting to power on normally, phone shows white AT&T screen and hangs there
-When attaching USB, phone shows battery screen but battery is all grey and rotating progress icon is frozen. Does not appear to be charging.
-Computer does not recognize phone in any state. Latest USB drivers are installed and I have had no issues connecting via USB previously.
-Cannot get into download or recovery mode using any volume/power button combination or through adb. Also tried attaching USB with ODIN running while attempting button combinations, inserting/removing battery etc, still nothing.
- I have tried removing battery, plugging in usb, hold down up/down/power, plug battery in, let go of power, and it still goes into a stuck grey battery charging screen.
Has anyone else experienced this? Anything else I should try?
Usb jig to force download mode
This package after that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=995143
So all I need is a JIG to force download mode and flash ODIN until it works?
That's what I said
I mean I can try and come up with more complicated directions if you want a harder solution?

I dont think you are supposed to use power button here. Try again with out it. If you are on Gingerbread, hold volume down and insert usb from the phone powered off, you'll get dl mode.
I made the JIG, got into download mode.
I followed the instructions using JF6 Odinv3 1.3.
Is there supposed to be a PIT file or only TAR? Because after flashing I still get stuck at the battery charging screen.

No pit file. Only tar, it goes into pda slot.
ok I got into download mode using the jig and I found out that I had to follow the instructions for models that are over 1010 and those instructions had a PIT and TAR file. Worked like a charm and I am just glad my phone has been saved. Thanks for the help!
I am having the same issue, regarding the battery screen and AT&T splash screen.
I'm having trouble getting my computer to recognize my phone after running it through Odin. Odin claimed to be successful in restoring the phone, but I'm not sure what to do to get the computer to recognize the phone.
Thoughts? I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell Inspiron duo-core desktop.
okay from what I can tell just make a jig. I am no engineer but the instructions online are really easy to follow. Just go to radioshack and buy the 100k ohms resistors 1/4 watt 5% resistance. Make the jig and follow the instructions on how to force your phone into download mode. Once you enter download mode, dont plug in the usb yet. Open Odin first, THEN plug in the usb. Have you also updated or installed your samsung usb drivers?
Has anyone tried to hard reset?

Problem
i have I9070 8GB.
i flash with odin and in the middle, odin get error and stop.
and the phone is freeze in download state with blue status bar on half.
so i remove the battery.
and when i insert the battery back, the phone have no response at all.
No power up.
No start up vibration.
No charging (either with computer or wall charger)
Not detect with pc.
Not detect with Odin.
No screen power up.
so, plz help me with this.
thanks
If you are unable to access recovery or download mode then you probably hard bricked it.
If you are able to access download mode, then flash stock jelly bean with odin for the time being. Before all this make sure you installed usb drivers and use a good quality usb cable. Anyway good luck.

Hi there, i want to ask some help to you. This is very sucks for me, when i need to communicate with my family and my friends, my phone was had a probelm. First probelm is my phone was bootloop, it was booted just until "Samsung Galaxy S III Mini" logo. Second probelm, after that bootloop, my phone was restarted and go back again to boot logo, and then restart again and go back again to boot logo, again and again continuosly until my battery was drain down. And the last probelm, after i found that probelm then i try to flash my phone to newest version firmware, when my phone enter to download mode and try to connected to my PC, it not recognized with my PC, indeed there's no notification that the device is not recognized (normally if you connect the device to PC and not recognized, will show notification "USB Not Recognized"). I try to connect again on Windows 7 (My PC was dual-booted Windows 10 and Windows 7), there's no changed, still not recognize and not showing notification. And then, an hour ago before i posted this post, i try to connect and flashing in my friends PC, but still not recognized. I think there's no probelm with my USB cable, when i use to charging, it still working.
And then i really really really need your solution, PLEASE help me, i dont have much money to repair my phone because i just have IDR 10000 (converted to USD is just $0,95) and my guarantee is expired. Soon i will face the National Exam and i dont want lost my focus to that. I hope i can get the best solution quickly. Thanks for your attention, sorry for my badly english. :crying::crying:

just a little side note....where did u get windows 10.......good luck with the phone
Hi whith model s3mimi you have i8190x or 8200? If 8190 do that:
1.Download drivers and Odin from novafusion.pl/downloads, there is section s3mini->extras and heres Drivers and Odin.
Download stock rom from sammobile or samsung-firmware for your specific model and location.
2.Install drivers, next unzip to any location Odin and downloaded rom, but in the same place both.
3.Take out battery and put in the phone, then push Vol- Home Power buttons until you see Download mode, then clik Vol+ to enter it.
4.Open Odin and select PDA and find unpacked stock rom then connect phone to usb. Make sure that ONLY Auto Reboot*and*F.Reset Time are selected.
Your pc find drivers and Odin show to you in first box in left corner info about port:comX, nevermind what number of Com but you must see info about Com port. Its important.
5.Pull button Start and wait few minutes. On finish your phone restart, you dont need to disconnect from pc. Now wait 5-8min, in this time you see only logo samsung and thats all. After logo you see configuration panel and voila.
If not see configuration screen after 8min, pull out batt, put in, go to recovery by Vol+ Home Power Buttons and clean cache, next do factory reset. Now might be work, but after restart you still wait max 8min until see configuration screen.
