I have recently purchased the ZUK Z1 and am already tired of the endless bugs that keep showing up from time to time. My device is running on the COS 12.1 and I was wondering if there are alternate ROMs that the members of this forum can recommend.
Please suggest me a ROM that I can use on my Z1 instead of the inbuilt COS

Try the NucleRom it's awesome with minor bugs, and the developer is active so you have support and updates.

That depends on your requirements, not on what others prefer. Such as many features, slim and streamline, don't mind the occasional glitch for the latest mods, you don't mind if it is not the latest for stability, etc.
My daily ROM is Carbon ROM, it's so smooth with build 18. Best RAM management, balanced between customization and performance and completely stable :good:
But if you don't want so much customizations then CM is there for you.
And if you want to customize every bit of your ROM with some very unique features, Dirty Unicorn is best option.
I've used Dirty Unicorn for 6 weeks and it works great. Paranoid, Carbon and others works very fine too. I'm trying AOSB now and it seems to be good too.
Just a question of personal taste to make your choice.

I searched all of the development threads but could not find a CM12 based rom that is stable as well as is updated by the dev. If anyone could help me inselecting the best one. Also every one writes bugs as - bugs present in CM12. This doesnt make it clear as i saw 2 to 3 threads for CM12 alone which had a bit different bugs. Please help me out in finding a nice CM12 based rom.
Bittis opticancro is the best cm12 now. Am using it for few days now. Flash stuxnet kernel. Good battery life

I have had my z3 compact for quite a long time, and i am starting to get tired of the stock sony firmware. I have been looking at the forums for a while now, to figure out which custom firmware i want to run. The thing is i want a firmware that is either as close to stock as possible, AOSP or a CM 12.1 rom.
I Just can't seem to figure out which bugs are present i which builds, and i'm having a hard time finding a bug tracker that's usable for me.
Do any of you guys know of a rom with a minimum of bugs that can be used as a daily driver?
i'm really bored and i want to try a custom rom on my c6903 but i really don't know witch one is stable and battery friendly. Any sugestions? I want a 5.1.1 , was thinking about CM 12.1 but i saw in the main post that it has some bugs and in fxp thread users said that there is some camera problem.
I was also thinking about it days ago. What is the most installed custom rom by the people of the community?
I will not ask what is the best one, because each one has its particularity, but it would be good if someone could indicate some roms, especially now that we know the Z1 will not get more official updates.
havent noticed any camera problem on cm12.1 roms but a big problem some users had including me was some screen problems..(screen's sensitivity is higher than usual and makes some problems) ... it has great multitasking experience.. good battery life .. lower sound output than official builds on default . I tested many ones and my choice is resurrection rom .its better than others... but i switched to official 5.1.1 pre-rooted with some customization ,became a beast... but i prefer the resurrection but i had screen problem ...

Guys, I would like to extend my Xperia V for another 2 years perhaps, please mention best and stable build for daily use, since there are many builds out there and I am confused. Please note that I am not a techie and I don't want to install upcoming builds either. I just wanted to bring my device from old android (jelly bean) which is not supported to latest android(at least lollipop) so that I can install latest apps.
Note: Also please mention if there are any issues in your recommended build compared to stock android version for reference. Thank you.
