Bricked Note 5. HELP!! - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a bricked N9200. It would get stuck on Galaxy screen. I have twrp working. I tried restoring stock firmwares with ODIN(both LP and MM). But neither worked. I tried 3 custom ROMs and 2 kernels. None work. Please help. In odin, it says system.img and then FAIL!.:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Try download stock firmware again

I had bricked my Note5 as well a couple of months ago. I was installing Dr. Ketran ROM and something went wrong and my phone stuck at Samsung logo. What worked for me is; adb command. I was able to go to TWRP so I use the the TWRP sideload and the abd command to load ROM.
" adb sideload N920CGI_PD3_DrKetan_custom_ROM_M6_XDA.zip "

Why OEM lock device? This part is not needed until your sure stock ROM is working.

Try to oem unlock the device again then adb sideload stock files and oem relock once everything is working again. If the adb sideload still isn't working I believe you can unzip the stock images and fastboot flash then individually.

Exact same issue here, cannot get phone to work after trying to go back to stock.
Bootloader locked, and I have access to adb through stock recovery and fastboot. But when I try to adb sideload it stops about half way.
I tried the other link to unbrick but I can't seem to get my copy of windows to see "unknown device" is the device manager so I can't get past that stage.
If anyone else has found a way to get this working feel free to let me know :/

You have TWRP installed? Use Method 2 of the unbrick guide. Now you want to wipe every partition then adb push your rom (not sideload) and manually flash it. Make sure you are on the latest Bluspark twrp.

Why is it not working? Does it give an error or something?

Yes, it says flashing partition not allowed.
I suppose it is because usb debugging is off.

Nah, In windows, go to Device Manager. How does your device show up? It has to do with wrong drivers.

What is correctly? What does it say? You might want to try different ADB drivers. You should be able to always flash In fastboot..

Check again the bootloader to be unlocked. Use the tool for that, is it on OP3 forum, then retry to get a stock rom up before anything else (TWRP, custom rom, etc)

Mi 9 won't boot into Android

Alright lets start... I bought Mi 9 about 2 months. I just like to work with phones and mess up with Roms, recoverys, etc. I started it about 4-5 years ago with Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus. When i lost that phone i bought HTC M8 and also do the same (mess up with software). With Mi 9 i couldnt wait for Miui11 and tried to install it via Twrp. Unlocked bootloader installed Twrp via Fastboot, and every time when i restarted phone Miui stock recovery would overwrite Twrp. I searched everywhere and found some "solution". It was when you install Twrp via fastboot you need to write Fastboot boot Twrp.img, something like that im not really sure. Well that worked, kindof. Twrp would always appear but it cant boot into Android. And like always i tried to to solve it myself but i cant for two days of working without stopping i cant solve this. I tried to install different Rom (Miui 11 all versions) and it would install but wont boot. I tried Stock Miui Rom, i tried Factory img almost everything. Tried with adb, Miflash tool, All in one tool for Mi 9. I really love this phone i worked every day on summer for this phone. Thanks. If someone read this and want to help for more information just ask.

You need Miflash pro. Search for it. Sounds like you have some kind of recovery bootloop. If you can get your Mi9 to the fastboot (bootloader) screen then you can fix your cell an get it to boot . Trust me on this. I must of made flashing errors with my Mi9 maybe 20 times an got stuck in a fastboot loop.
Heres a link https://androidmtk.com/use-mi-flash-pro-download-xiaomi-firmware
Follow the guides an you should have a working Mi9 in under 20 minutes.
Sometimes there can be trouble getting the latest version of Miflash pro an it requires a bit of tinkering to flash with it.
Not sure that this would help but here is what I did to install Xiaomi.EU ROM in my Mi 9. I followed the guide from this forum here.
Prerequisite:
Download TWRP 3.3.1-42 for Cepheus from Mauronofrio here
Download Xiaomi.EU ROM here
Rename both files to twrp.img & rom.zip respectively (for easy typing later)
Steps:
Power off phone
Boot phone to fastboot - Vol Down + Power
type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" without the double quotes
Power off phone
Boot phone to recovery - Vol Up + Power
Type "adb push rom.zip /tmp/" without the double quotes
In TWRP, go to Wipe-Format Data-type yes in TWRP
Then perform a Factory Reset in TWRP
Then flash ROM located in tmp
And finally reboot to system
I hope this helps.

HELP NEEDED flashing my bootlooping Mi A2

my mi a2 started bootlooping after a certain update, but did not do anything about it because at second or third forced reboot it will boot normally, now it started acting up and it would not boot after several dozen reboots so i tried to flash the lastest stock rom, i unlocked the bootloader and started flashing but when the flashing reached vendor b phone rebooted by itself entering the bootloop, i tried this many times, same result flashing ended at vendor , after changing the partition to a it booted and tried a software update then again after download it entered bootlooping , so i tied again to flash several times with different stock roms, even tried miflash in edl mode, everything is the same, now i managed to boot again after the last flashing but if i restart it it for shure go into a bootloop again, i dont know what else to do, i dont know why, but pressing power and vol + does not take me into recovery, only vol- takes me to fastboot, also tried to boot into twrp via fastboot but it says ok the screen lits up and then again bootloop, please please anyone can offer some assistance ?? Thanks
try flash a custom rom, if flash is successful and phone boots, try to revert it to stock rom again via miflash and used version 11.0.14.

if i try "fastboot boot twrp.img" it says ok the screen goes dark and it reboots in bootloop
Maybe try extract a custom rom e.g.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-11-official-pixel-extended-rom-2021-1-10.4215727/ , convert dat.br to .img by googling and find useful tools and then fastboot flash the .img files?
