Alpine Unknow sim error

Every time i try to insert my pin, and press the enter, i comes with the Unknow sim error, anybody that might know why that happens?

I've tried everything to Unlock my phone

I've tried the unlock listed in the forum, but I can't get it to tell me my unlock password. Can anybody help me? And if needed, my IMEI # is **Mod Edit - Deleted for security reasons**

Using the apple standard line. "there's a app for that" check on market. Sgs unlocker or something like that

Yes I did download it, but it says "Sorry no codes found File not found: Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S?"
I don't understand why it can't find the unlock codes. Do you have any other ideas?

I have had exactly the same problem with my phone. However, I did install Froyo over Kies yesterday before I tried the unlock.

I had my troubles unlocking it for the 1st time. This is what I did:
1. Make sure USB debugging is enabled (Settings->Applications->Development->USB Debugging)
2. Download Generate Unlock Windows.zip (dont download anything else)
3. Extract the file onto PC
4. hook up the galaxy to your PC
5. Run the unlock code generator (if that doesnt work, unmount the SD card then try again)
6. Once you have your unlock code, put in your SIM and punch in that code.

[Q] SIM network unlock PIN on i8190

I switch to unother SIM card and i get "SIM network unlock PIN".
I search the forums and i read:

I'm rooted with Busybox and in EFS folder I don't have "nv_data.bin"
should I try on stock :
make sure no sim card inside the phone yet, if there is, just take it out

Main Menu > [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3]Perso SHA256 OFF > (after choosing this option, wait about 30 seconds, then go back one step by pressing the Menu button then select Back, now you are in [6] Network Lock then choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ ..... wait for a minute then reboot your phone...
there won't be any confirmation just reboot your phone, put your sim back in, wait for about 10-30 seconds for your phone to pick up the network and kabaaam it is unlocked, the timing is important btw

unfortunately doesn;t work for me. Says NOT ACTIVE... and phone is still sim locked. Any workaround for this?

Dial *#197328640#, it will take you to the service menu
Choose UMTS, or, if UMTS is missing, choose [1]Debug Screen directly
Choose [8] Phone Control
Choose [6] Network Lock
You will see "Not Active", you need to press the Settings/Options soft button (button on the left), and you will get a list of options
From the list choose the third [3] line, and enter the following text: SHA256 OFF
After 10-20 seconds you will see a returned value, I had 6
I saw most people stopped at step 5 above, before getting this far because they haven't pressed the left Options button to enable them to enter SHA256 OFF command.
Unfortunately, I couldn't figure where to enter the NW lock NV Data INITIALLIZ text... but maybe someone else can now pick it from here.

and then:
I typed the "NW Local NV Data INITIALIZE" exactly the way I typed your "SHA256 OFF". After that, I waited a minute and rebooted phone.
So once again: do the SHA256 OFF and then instead of SHA256 OFF, type "NW Local NV Data INITIALIZE", wait a minute and reboot.

hey guys please tell me how to fix IMEI permanently, and my signal reception is very poor , is anyone facing this problem?:crying:

i have the same problem when i try to put imei code through chamelophone in android nougat roms
no signals are showing and also no imei code :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Requirements:
- MobileUncle Tool apk.
- Your IMEI number(you can find it below the battery)
How to:-
1.Run MobileUncle Tool
2.Enter Enginering Mode
3.Choose Enginering Mode (MTK)
4.Choose Tab Connectivity
5.Choose CDS Information
6.Choose Radio Information
7.Choose Phone 1,
Write on the row:
AT + EGMR = 1.7, "IMEI_1 NUMBER"
- Press SEND AT COMMAND
NOTE : double inverted quotes are part of the code.and there should be a space between AT and +.
8. For Phone 2,
write:
AT + EGMR = 1.10, "IMEI_2 NUMBER"
Press SEND AT COMMAND
9. Restart Phone
Dial *#06# and check your IMEI.

[GUIDE]Fix IMEI, No SIM Card Inserted.

I recently found a way to fix missing imei, sim card related issues.
My problem was the dual sim. I'd insert a sim in sim 1 and sim 2, sim 2 would have no service.

I will not be held sh!t if your device gets bricked.​STEPS​Put your phone in diag mode. Turn on usb debugging in developer options in custom roms, power off the phone, press and hold vol up and plug in your usb cable.
MIUI ROM users, dial *#*#717717#*#* or*#*#13491#*#*. if they don't work then search online
Open QFIL, make sure build type on META BUILD. Plug in your phone while in diag mode and click select port, it will show up.
Click tools and click QCN backup and restore.
Click on browse, find the file wherever you saved it, click on Restore QCN and let itflash.
Reboot device and everything will be fixed.
