Hey dude, I would like to know how can you change icon pack on the stock Launcher. Sadly I don't have an answer to your question.

Go to the market and give Go Launcher Ex a try. Best Launcher out there IMO and it is free.
Folders in App drawer, on home screens and in quick launch area as well.
Claude H.
Have you found any other launchers that can do this except go launcher ex? To bad you cant hide the drawer when using it on tablets.
Try SSLauncher, folders were just added, they're called parcels.

I have the latest XXLRT installed.
Along the bottom, on the far right (the 5th icon), is an Apps icon.
I can change the first four icons but not this one.
How can I change the Apps icon for something else?

If you want to customize your app icons. You can download the launcher like Nova, Apex and icon packages. I can't post the links here but you can search. There are tons of threads regardless of this. Cheer

You can't change the icon, and even if you were rooted it would be very difficult. The status bar requires root to do anything with it.
Is it possible? I really like the stock Messaging app, but for ease of Emoji etc, I like to use Go SMS. Unfortunately it comes with a hideous stock icon, and trying to change it while keeping it in the dock is proving to be quite difficult.
Any ideas without running a third party launcher? I'm trying to keep the phone as light as possible.

Surprised this hasn't been answered yet. Anyway, it's fairly simple. You can only change your docked apps when you have the app drawer open. Simply open the app drawer first, then move the current app in the dock and drop it into the drawer. You can then move any other app from the drawer into its place. Hope that helps.

Sorry, but this doesn't really help me as I can't change the icon for Go SMS when it is in the dock. Using an icon switching app seems to only let me create a Go SMS shortcut with stock Messaging icon on a homescreen, not in the dock or app drawer, which is what I need

Unfortunately you can't adjust transparency unless you're using the TW launcher. Even if you do adjust it in TW, it doesn't stick when you switch to another launcher like nova.

The widget does work on my S5 running Solo launcher. Not transparent, but it does work. On mine I have to re-size it, not sure why. Gonna try the default launcher to see if I can get transparency.
Edit: Tried the default TW launcher and the widget was indeed transparent.
It's a shame that only works on the one launcher.
