[Q] Standy Problem Please Help Me

Hi everyone.
I got a little perculiar problem right here, my cellphone is a Sony Xperia SP and i'm using this custom room [ROM][SP][JB][LB,UB] eXistenZ Ultra 1.3.7 | OTA | Honami Camera & more | 22/11/13.
Everything is working just fine exept for one thing, when my phone is in standby he reboots, i don't know what i got do to resolve this problem.
Please someone help me, 'cause i've lost my warranty during the unlock bootloader process and i don't want to send to sony, it would take a long time for them restall the firmware and i don't want a stock room neither.
Tanks a lot folks.
Avoid any stock based! Why waste your time on any stock ROM? If you already unlocked the bootloader try CyanogenMod (CM10.2). Better camera, RAM management and all the goodies from Android 4.3

Maclaws CM 11 possible bug?

Hi there guys,
Just want to know if someone else experienced this,
While powering off or rebooting the system the kit kat 4.2.x just takes forever on the loading screen and the only way to fix it is to remove the battery.
Thoughts?

Which build do you have installed? This bug has been resolved already. I would suggest to install the latest update from maclaw.pl
Kitkat is not 4.2.x but 4.4.x

Pardon,
I meant to say 4.4.x, which is the one I installed. Got it from Maclaw's page.
This night I had an unpleasant surprise as it shut down in the middle of the night, even connected to the plug. I ended up showing late for work haha
Nevertheless I installed the latest pac man rom and I believe I will stick to it.
Thanks for the attention.
Did you try clean install? I have never had that issue.

[Q] Stable Kitkat vs Unstable Lollipop

Hello there,
I recently moved to cyanogenmod 11 on my xperia ZR, and found it extremely good and stable.
Although we still dont have a stable CM12 for ZR, but ported ones are available, and giving in for the love for lollipop, i did try them too, but there are quite a few bugs.
So, Just wanted to ask, what everyone of you prefers,
A stable CM11 or a buggy but newer CM12.

the latest CM12 build of xenius9 seems stable for me. I prefer CM12. Little bugs don't bother me. The sheer smoothness and fresh-look of the whole user interface make me use CM12.:good:

I am too using that build, and i second ur opinion, CM12 does give a fresh look to the device.
stable cm12 will come soon
I bought this ZR a year or so ago and the phone has been on non-stock ROM's ever since day 1 inc a unlocked boot-loader since the same time. I've tried every ROM posted in the ZR section from the Xperienz onwards inc the CM11..
The CM11 nightlies were also "unstable" depending on the nightly chosen and I often had to flash back to a stable CM11 because of bugs in that particular CM11 nightly.
All the CM builds are constantly evolving and it's kind of the charm about flashing a new CM11 or 12 because we never quite know what we're going to get.
I used to be involved in the Nokia scene, modding etc, for the last few years and i like messing around, trying new things on the phone and im currently on the CM12 02-02-2015 Validus port (have been since it was ported by uncomment because it is stable with good features) and there are some amazing work being done by xenius9, Deadroza, uncomment and others giving us ZR users a choice..
The nice thing about CM12 is the interface but the development within CM12 is awesome and I for one would take a dirty, "unstable" CM12 anytime over a stable anything, inc stock ROM..
Hi
I have the same feeling about new LP ROMs...
We have only some ported LP ROMs with bugs. And the KK ROM are all discontinued.
I tried a LP ROM (don't remember which one) and finally I'm back to KK. The design of LP is very refreshing and it's a great sensation when your ZR seems to have reborn.
There is some problems that bother me like :
- The notification LED don't works in silent mode. On Z, the LED still work when we disable the vibrator.
- The data switch is crappy. We have to press a least 3 times to activate or desactivate the data instead of just 1 time on quick settings of KK. It's the same problem for localisation switch. On KK we can choose the localisation mode quickly by pressing the same button again.
- The bluetooth audio. It works great but after some connections the sound is not play in the peripheral. We have to restart the phone to have a fonctional bluetooth back.
Due to this little but boring things I'm on a MokeeKK ROM since the begin of febuary...
Do you know if some of this things are solved? I don't have the courage to try a LP ROM just to find out if there is some evolutions. And if there is some evolutions, which ROM did you advise me? CM12, CM12.1, Resurrection Remix?
Thanks in advance

Hummm
If I ask people about this things it's because it's easy for LP users to check it and tell me if there is an evolution since january LP builds.
It's easy to check the problem of LED and tell me if there is and evolution concerning the switches of data and localisation.
I know that I can make a full backup of my KK ROM but I'm busy.
If somebody can help me, it will be nice.

I'm on the latest Resurrection port by uncomment (5.4.0) and i can confirm the led works in silent mode and the switches are all working.. as for bluetooth, no comment as i don't use it but the build/port is smooth and accurate with good settings additions and very few bugs... In fact i personally have found none..

CM13 on ZUK Z1

Hi,
My device is currently running 12.1 Cyanogen OS which is stock that came out of the box.
The issues I am facing with the device is :
1. When the call ends the device hang & doesn't work until I force restart the same, happens once a day or twice.
2. The SOT (Screen on Time) I receive is around 5.30-6 hours max when the device battery is under 15%, saw many reviewers stating that they get 7-8 hours of SOT on normal to moderate usage so my device SOT is too less i feel when i use it normally.
3. There is no support for Fingerprint to lock App's by default & also after installing several App's nothing can be found as it has been that the message on App's says that either the Fingerprint is missing or it has been blocked by the manufacturer.
So my question is will installing CM 13 based on Android 6.0.1 on Zuk Z1 improve battery life by some hours, will the restart issue fix & also as Android 6 has native Fingerprint support will the App let me lock App's ?
Is there any issues currently on CM 13 or I should go with a different ROM which is stable.
all good on CM 13. Go for it

Hi,
You think CM13 is better than other roms like nuclear or other?
CM13, nothing wrong for me, everything works perfectly. Try it by yourself
NucleaRom having good reviews as well, it's based on CM anyway but have some additional features and another kernel.
