How long does it take you to charge your tablet with stock charger?
Let's say from 0-100?
What I do I charge it right before I sleep and take it out in the morning around 730am.

Very long time ! I don't remember how much it took to charge but it was too much .
You have to change cable of charger only !
Sent from my SM-T815 using Tapatalk
Yeah I changed my cable a few days ago.
I noticed when I plugged my phone in my laptop the charging is in doing on and off.
I'm using cyanogenmod with battery icon as circle and number in the center. The percentage and charging icon is alternating very fast which indicate I believe is charging on and off.

Quick question: If I leave my phone charging all night, when it gets to 100%, will it keep charging and make my phone explode?
And if it doesn't and somehow just stops receiving a charge once it's full, will any electricity be used?
I charged whole night and its safe and good.may depend on voltage. Wait for some better answer and check it.

When your phone gets full charged, device have cut off system, n will stop charging.
It won't explode.

LoL if it were only that simple... Anyways I left mine on the charger for almost a full day without use and no harm has come to it. Still has the same battery life as before.

You should have no problem with overcharging. I think the Note manages the charging at 100% by using the battery for a time and then charging again for a while. I often have the Note in my card dock for extended trips where it sits fully charged. My battery usage is still the same so there seems to be no problems.

I'd agree with this statement. To illustrate this, you can use an App to track the mV value of the battery rise and fall whilst still on the charger at 100%.

how long you have left it on the charger?
just connect a charger to a phone, and leave it for a while, it will wake up...
I charge it overnight, no use, its weird, maybe I'll send to service center.

Does the note 2 have the same size of battery? If yes you could try that only if it's the same
Not same, tomorrow I'll try buy a new battery first if its ok if still not then to service center

One such incident was reported elsewhere in the forum. The phone won't wake up or recovery mode. But the phone was able to go into download mode. So the guy flashed gb rom thru pc Odin.

I bought a desktop charger and charge the battery first, its all ok now, seems my note have problem if battery completely depleted so cant charge with the phone directly, now I can charge the phone directly as long as battery is at least 1% .

To charge normally (fast), turn off phone, plug charger, wait for a minute (till the charging animation goes off and phone is off again) and turn on phone. Now it will charge fast. This is the standard procedure for all CM10 ROMs. If you dont follow this, charging will be slow.
Fast response and simple answer! Thnx man!

Even a simple reboot with the charger plugged in does the trick.

Use a charge cable to charge your phone. This cable must not connected to pins 2 and 3 at the usb part, i.e. this cable can't be used as a usb cable but just for charging.
Or you can find another charger to try.
I monitored the procedure and find that charging currency changed from 0.33A to 0.48A. So charging interval shortened from 5h to 3.5h.
I plugged in my phone for 20 seconds and I went to check for email notifications and to my amazement it's fully charged.
This is now another possibility in battery issues. I know I'm using a faulty device (that's why I ordered a RMA) but this is kinda odd so I thought I'd share it with you guys.
Let's hope this instant charge sticks lol. I went from 7% to 100% in 20 seconds.

AW: Instant Battery Charge Glitch
Had that also one or two times. If you leave it plugged in it goes back to the correct percentage after some minutes.
Likewise a minor software glitch that will get fixed soon, nothing to worry.

Good for example you need to go somewhere and you forget to charge it. Just plug it in for 20 sec and bam it's fully charged and problem solved.

AW: Instant Battery Charge Glitch
This happens when you plug in the phone and the wall charger has no voltage, e.g. because you use a switch that is off. If you switch it on, the glitch occurs and the phone is instantly charged. Of course that's not really the case, though. Rebooting solves this most of the time.

The Galaxy Nexus had none of these issues. I just hope that Google fixes this soon.

this is a non-issue as it is charging fine when left. no disadvantages except when you really believe it is fully charged in a second.

Nope. It doesn't let me continue to charge until I restart the phone (for me at least).
My phone did this last night. I noticed it right away, so I just unplugged the cable and plugged it back in and bam it went back to charging its merry little heart out

I am also experiencing this issue with a Nexus 4 (few weeks old) running Andriod 4.2.2.
Anyone know if this issue is fixed in upcoming release?
Just happened on my Nexus with Nokia 1.2mAh charger and latest CM10.1 nightly, reboot solved it though

I think this is correct. I've had this happen 3 times in 6 months and it's only happened when I plug the phone into the charger right after plugging the charger into the wall.
I've since tried to leave the charger plugged in about 10-20 seconds before attaching the phone and it hasn't happened since (~3 months)

i hope someday "20sec charging" will be a feature for every smartphone
Happened to me one night but when i unplugged my phone in the morning, it went down to 40% :/ so evidently it didnt continue charging after glitching. Battery usage pane confirmed this.

I usually charge my phone during nights.. Sometimes on the morning my battery is down to 80%, it stopped charging at 100% and I assume didn't charge any longer and the phone was draining the battery, has anyone else the same problem?

For me 80% only in standby is too much. I always get Fully charged when I charge it at night.

I don't have the iriginal charger, so I use a 1amper charger I used on my Sensation. The charger of the One seems to be the same, so why does my phone charge so slow? For the first time today I played a game and the battery discharges while the charger us plugged in. Maybe the input is limited, cause the phone knows it's not the original charger? Please help
