Hi a friend of mine gave me his htc hd7 phone (tmob) because he changed to att. The thing is he said he lost the usb cable and only has a wall charger to charge his phone.
so now i have to buy a usb cable online but I'm not sure which to buy. There are a few I've seen on amazon but are not oem. Hopefully I dont have to spend any more than $15 max... Can anyone post links to where I can buy a a oem cable or at least a stable usb cable for my hd7?
Thanks a lot

Any Micro-USB to USB cable will do mate. I wouldn't pay more than a couple of $$/££
You can get one from the Dollar Store

I notice that the USB cable for the Spice-Mi410/Ideos X6 is not the regular mini-USB connector. I am thinking of getting a replacement data cable (to keep in my office in case I need to charge the phone). Where can I find one or what are the replacement options I have?
Thanks...
Are you sure its not generic, because I thought all android phones have same usb socket. I remember using a LG cable sometime in the past.......
Ahh its generic i always use my brother's samsung cable, they are all alike afaik.

hi
it is very much available at any local mobile shop i got one for use at office
@whyzee, @nayneshdev: I tried with a samsung Galaxy cable and I couldn't fit it in. I haven't tried with other brands (Android phones). I will do that.
@haree: Will check the local mobile shops. I usually asked them for a cable giving my model name (which they didn't recognize ).

it's not miniUSB, it's microUSB, same as new gen Blackberry phone and almost all android phone. I have 2 android phone and 1 blackberry that using same usb cable to charging or connecting to pc
PS: don't be confused with micro-HDMI type-D port that close to microUSB port in our device XD

are you sure your usb socket of your phone is not faulty? make sure your clear that up too because triumph phones have had this problem....
Any MicroUSB cable is compatible with this Phone, I'm using Nokia N8's Data Cable because mine I forgot at my Bro's house (1000Kms Away) so can't go again only for the cable and as this is already working so I didn't tell him to send through Post (Courier)

The data cable that came with the box works, I think there is no problem with the USB socket. I will try the microUSB cable as suggested by ardX

yes it is not mini-USB but a micro usb. I think mini USB is mainly used in portable hard drives.

hey all
i have a problem with my usb port
alot of time its no charging too and the cable look too loose in the usb port
first i thought its my cable so i ordered different cables to test it out ( 3* all quick charge cables )
all cables are charging min 500 max 860 mah
with that conclusion i think my usb port is broke so i ordered a new usb port
questions is do you really need a heatgun to change the connector ?
sorry for my broken english

depend on usb port
but i suggest heatgun is better
cause broken stip leads to change motherboard
Easiest fix is a Qi charger.

Hello,
Check this video, might help you:
I would take the motherboard and bring it to an electronic shop and get it replaced by a professional... :good:
Good luck...
Thanks all
I looked the video and I know I can't do it :--)
Too afraid to burn the other things on motherboard
I will ask some shops if they can do it
Thanks again

Hello,
A professional can of course... :good:
Come back once it is done... If you only bring him the mother board, make a picture of the job done once you get it back... Thanks...
Cheers...

Hey, I need some help getting a new USB type C cable for my Realme X2 Pro. The one I have now got destroyed by my rat...My question is this - is the included original cable a 5A one? If so, can I buy any 5A cable and get the full SuperVOOC charging or does it have to be an original cable? I tried searching for the original cable on Aliexpress but to no avail.
Thanks!

I bought one from that seller and it was a bad cable. Doesn't charge above 2A.

Yes you need a heavy gauge cable (check the AWG rating) to support the 5A safely like the original one. It might get too complicated so just get the original one to be safe.

Hi all..
Just wanted to check if I can Odin reset using USB-C to USB-C cable. Has anyone tried it? The cable is the official one that came with the charger.

I've been using Odin like this since last November with no issues. I'm using a Anker USB c to c I got off Amazon. I looked for 60W cables.
