Can someone please point me to a link or a post which has the updated/reliable information on "systemless root" for Sprint Note 5 (SM-N920P). I just want to root the device and not want to do any custom rom flashing. Also I want to be able to install sprint OTA's. Thanks for the help.

This thread (third post) explains how I'm running stock with systemless root. I haven't tried to take any OTA's yet.

Plenty of information if you look in the Sprint Note 5 forums rather than General.

Hi I just got a sprint galaxy tab and confused on what i should do next. Im confused on the correct way to root a sprint cdma tab and then what i should do next after i root it. can any one point me in the right direction and suggest what i should do with my tab to get the most out of it?
Thanks!!
You can use the superoneclick (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682) to get root on stock, or you can grab one of the rooted kernels. personally so far i've found rooted stock to be one of the best ways to use the tab until they release the official gingerbread update (at least I hope this is coming officially)

Like above, superoneclick is how you can root.
Depending on what you want out of your device will/should dictate your mods.. personally I love the Spacemoose1 Honeycomb Alpha 2.5 build on my device. If you're curious on how I went about that, click the link in my signature, or find my thread in this Q&A section, and read up :]
This thread will be a one stop thread for all the Roms, Kernels and Recoveries present for Galaxy S4 Active.

Samsung s4 root question
AT&T just replaced my S4 because of a constant reboot problem. The phone was rooted I used Wondershare to backup the bad phone. My question I have this new S$ and would like to have it rooted and also restore my app backup from Wondershare which is on my laptop. Is there anyone out there that can assist and certainly I will pay, just want someone reputable. Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated. Chuck
Hey, sorry, don't know how you can restore it! Although you might get a little more attention if you make a thread for this in the Q&A section. Hope that you get answers! Good luck with phone #2!

For some reason the second thread is missing, I cannot find it anywhere. If you're trying to root the i537, then use the first link. If you're trying to root the i9295 try using this method
I need help on how to install custom ROM on my at&t s4 active us edition, I have tried all other threads and forum but no help still. Can I just get the latest step to step installing guide. Please I'm tired of browsing over and over but no luck yet

Since you have the i537, you have a locked bootloader meaning you cannot install custom ROMs. You can use SafeStrap to kind of get around it, but there are several limitations. I suggest reading the SafeStrap thread in the Development section.
Hey guys. please help me. I bought a note 4 the normal one (SM-N910F) and have lollipop on it. I'd like to root it but I don't know if this is possible because it has lollipop. Can anyone give me some advice please. Or would you rather suggest me Rooting it or not since it's new.
If you root your device, you active the knox flag 0x1 and lost your warranty, but with root you can do all things like customize your device with a new rom and some mods, and the best option is delete all bloatware.
Root is admin permission.

I would always root the phone to get rid of bloatware and improve perfomance, get CPU control etc.
The best way for me to root it is the CWM or TWRP recovery method.
Follow this link to get full instructions with a video and all the needed files:

I haven't found any root and custom recovery for this version am I missing the thread? I have tried so please don't blast me. Also please link me a debloat ed stock rom please
Simple question
This is a very simple question, however, I have heard conflicting information. I have a TMO Note 4 that is rooted and I love to change roms constantly (going between AOSP and TW), but on occaision I go back to stock also. Now I have heard that the new 5.1.1. TMO stock version if loaded will lock your bootloader and you will loose root. I have also heard that you can restore your root, if previously rooted. Not sure what is correct and would hate to lose my root. Any answers?
