Hi, does anyone know of a ROM that allows you to implement the deep sleep fix but also isn't rooted? I'm on Dr Ketan ROM (which is fantastic by the way) but temp unroot still does allow me to use FOXTEL GO app.

Hi I can't search specific forums on this app so excuse Me if this has been answered already.
Had anyone got sky go working on their Xperia t? They have a root check and doesn't let you view anything until root is removed. They also have a firmware signature check so you have to be on stock Rom.
I used supersu to fully un root like a dumbass and it still didn't work. Now super user won't install properly.
I'm on doom kernel with curiosity rom

You wont be able to use sky go with an unlocked bootloader because you are always rooted with that kernel, even if you uninstall supersu.
Flash the root package I have installed to get your supersu back.
RootPackage-gregbradley.zip - 1.75 MB
Ugh that is head wrecking.
Is there any script to spoof locked boot loader? Thanks Greg.

you can relock the bootloader. There is an ftf in the dev section, just search for it.
But then you will have to have a stock kernel.
Nah I'd feel like they won then and I'm waiting for JB Rom with decent battery life. I tried to remove the read phone state permission and it wouldn't start.
Edit: it blacklists and allows kernels by using the information like one would see in "about phone" right? Or does it go deeper?

I've never had any hiccups rooting any galaxy always choosing chainfire method .
Just picked up s6 and updated to 5.1.1
As I'm looking around posts it's not telling me a lot about root options without any issues ..I see more about issues on 5.1.1 camera issues etc...after root and having to flash boot.bin ?
What is the current safest method to root the 5.1.1 update ,Is it still using chainfire 5.0.2 root
Last thing I want is problems .
A link and quick rundown would be awesome
Like i mentioned I've never felt the need ever to ask about rooting any galaxy s4 S5 etc.... except this time seems necessary

I am having the same issue as OP. I don't know how he feels about it, but I don't care about KNOX! Help! Pingpong seemed the safest alternative after multiple attempts using ODIN always resulting in soft brick. Pinpong apparently isn't updated for the S6 even though I got the link in the T-mobile thread for the S6

If you do care about KNOX:
Look up "engineer boatloader" on the forums. I have never used this method before, so beware. Fingerprint scanner might not work!

I thought that method only gives you a temp root as it causes issues with calling and/or wifi, so you use it just to unlock then revert back to gain functionality?

The first method jeffrelyn_ posted is what you need if you don't care about Knox. Issues with calling were only when the method was first created, but has been patched for a while now so no issues, and it is a permanent root
The engineering bootloader is the only method that has a problem because the fingerprint reader does not function

The whole process looks like a sh!t show. Which is why I'm just gonna stick with stock.

Alright, if you don't care about KNOX:
Get the correct version of TWRP for your device. Flash using ODIN. Might as well flash the latest bootloader and modem if you haven't done so already (flash entire firmware package if you can't find the modem/bootloader only).
Now, grab the latest Unikernel from the Unified Development forum. Flash using ODIN/TWRP, your choice (pick the right one!).
Download SuperSU from the Play Store. ??? Profit!

I already have the correct version of TWRP for my phone but I don't know how to go about flashing it with ODIN. I'm kind of new to Samsung and ODIN and I am kind of ignorant to this whole process, but I want to learn!!
So I just flash TWRP directly?
Sent from my SM-G920T using XDA Free mobile app
I mean flash it to the phone using ODIN directly as I do not have root yet. Which I thought would make TWRP useless

not exactly the solution
enable floating dock
try an app called simple control from play store
it needs root to enable softkeys(navabar).
or else use some apps from playstore like simple control

Why not use a stock solution instead? just activate that floating button. its there on stock b360, b515 is available too.

You can't you must root
Without root you can use floating dock.otherwise you have to be rootef
Hello guy.
I wanna know How to disable root temporality for access some Apps like pokemon and Android play using a custom kernel with root inside it.

I already discovered the solution. Just flash supersu 2,78 SR1 then suhide 0.52.... Add the UID app program to blacklist and you are ready to go...
