[Q] How to enable Google Play to show all apps and games regardless of unsupported de

Hi all I wanted to know how do I enable google play to display all apps and games? It works while I change the build.prop to that of HTC Desire HD all games like Asphalt 7 etc shows up but when phone restarts it gets stuck on boot because I've changed the build.prop, I'Ve also tried to replace the vending.apk in system / app with a modded play store but the ultimate games and apps don't show up. Is there any other way which I could go about to fully unlock the play store?
Thanks in advance.
Yours Superviked
Did you try this on stiock rom, cause modding the build.prop on stock rom is not advised which results in no boot.
You should use modded sharp rom which already has desire hd footprint.

Yes Sir, I'm aware that on stock rom it doesn't work and I've tried this on ice cold sandwich 8.4, FR's MIUI still no luck
actually you can spoof your device with any device on stock roms also ..... or i should say "device can be spoofed on ANY rom" ......
the only thing is you have to change all "ro.product.*=---" on both build.prop and cda.prop .....
i have tried it on Stock Sharp (android 2.3.5), Stock Spice (android 2.3.3) and even on Stock Apanda (android 2.3.7) .....

A silly question

Hia,
I had used many custom stock roms and found a strange similarity that when I lock/unlock my device it done like a t.v. I just hate that effect. I found so many times in settings but can't find anything to change it. Can any one know about it to change that effect???
I want a fade effect on it.

There's no way you got that effect on a stock ROM. If you're running Gingerbread, there's an option to disable that effect. It's called CRT animation. The option should be located in CM display settings. In older Android versions, there is no way to disable it.

The Rom you are using is based on FroyoBread which is a Froyo Rom with back ports from Gingerbread. The CRT animation was introduced with Gingerbread. Unfortunately, the dev didn't make an option to disable that animation.

actually froyobread had that anim AFAIK (saw it in floyo v0.30 which is also based on FroyoBread) but i might be wrong. in any case, you're better off using a gingerbread rom. but if i remember correctly there was no option to disable it until gingerbread (and again i might be wrong).
Yeah, the animation was back ported from Gingerbread to FroyoBread.

disable it in settings/cyanogen mod and disable screen off/on effect

How to copy that and where to paste??

[Q] How to fix lag?? :/

Hy....I have a samsung galaxy s with android 2.3.6 (JW5-newest value pack) aaaand its so laggy...for example: the touchwiz 4 lagging or broken, phone restarting...etc. How to can i fix this laggs???
Sorry For my Bad English!!
What helped me a lot was changing to a custom ROM, which is tweaked etc. If you are rooted then search for tweaks (and the app seeder) here in the forums (or just Google search it). If aren't rooted and don't want to, then just try to keep your phone clean — means that u should uninstall every unused app and use cleaners like clean master (its in the play store).
Hope I could help

Apps reloading!

Hy everyone! I am very satisfied with my phone but I have one small problem.. When I download a new app the phone, or I am in the process of installing, the phone get very laggy for a couple of seconds and the apps on my home screen reload. They disappear and reappear in a second or two. Why is that happening? Also when I go into apps or widgets it gets a bit laggish when scrolling around.. Is that normaln for a stock ROM? I`m on stock JB,rooted.. And I did a factory reset after update to JB and manually installed all the apps..

Rolling back is not an option.. Do you have a ROM or kernel to recommend?
It's normal; the homescreen is just refreshing so it displays the shortcut for the app. (it auto-places one on install)
And about the lag, download "Advanced Task Killer" and kill the apps/processes, or use the stock one. ("Task Manager")

The task manager won't get you anywhere. Android handles processes not like crappy windows and the task manager thing is unnecessary as hell. Search for it.
For the rom/ kernel thing try it out yourself . There are many good and stable ROMs on here.

Custom ROM no root but deep sleep fix

Hi, does anyone know of a ROM that allows you to implement the deep sleep fix but also isn't rooted? I'm on Dr Ketan ROM (which is fantastic by the way) but temp unroot still does allow me to use FOXTEL GO app.
