Does your browser has "data saver" option like chrome has?
If yes, do you have enable it?
Try disable this option from Settings in browser's menu and try connect again.
Turn off Data Saver option and you will see.
P.s: Sorry for my bad english.

you mean USB debug?
I have the 2 others checked in the dev menu. just the USB debug is greyed out.
Well to run that app you need to check that box that allows you to install apps that are not from the market

it still functions, nice trick samsung. make it look disabled.
I just held my finger there for a minute or so and it toggled on.
must be new security, lets just make them think we disabled it.
so, I am ready to play with other roms, err, how do I backup my factory rom?

or do we need to go into maint/factory service mode?
and if so, what is that process?

Do we need these apk on custom rom?

Do we need these 2 apks on custom rom?

It is safe to delete the apk you stated, syncmldm, snyncmlds, wssyncmlnps. After you delete these, the Software Update data will not be generated after reboot. Battery life will be better. I suggest you backup the apk first or just freeze it just in case you need it next time.

Rom software update. But I highly recommend you to stay with xda roms because they will give you more battery life, performance and so on. Try this link if there are still some stock apps which you want to uninstall. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...1gdDJRekl4QmkyNmIzUmRvX2h3UDVkQXc&output=html

It is always running in background and have a Download Service as shown in attachment. After killing it manually, it begins running again automatically.

its coz u always reactivate it without knowing.u can slaughter it but it doesnt make sense to stab it at da back while it doing its works perfectly
u can use titanium to uninstall or freeze system app if rooted, but i prefer u read first all information upon each app given
n use at ur own risk!
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
if I were you i wouldn't remove the app which runs the process.. it's a system process, droid knows when to run it or when not
try deleting the media memory (german: medienspeicher), this helps when there are media apps, that drain your battery
Look at sdcard0/DCIM/.thumbnails , i think that in it folder is huge .thumbdata[various numbers] named file present.

Titanium menu/batch action/freeze/deselect all/select only MotorolaOTA/Run
Ota is temporarily removed from system but you could derfrost any time. Also free some memory. (about 4 MB)

Facebook Xperia on Android 5.0

hey guys, one of the most apps i like when having z2 is Xperia facebook, but when we update our phone to 5.0.2, Sony deletes this app, sad news for many people including me, because this app helps us post images with high res on FAcebook.
So i wonder whether i can back up Xperia facebook app in 4.4.2 or 4..4.4 then restore in 5.0.2 ?
Very happy if some one port it into 5.0, or give me apk of app, or give me the best resulation for this problem
Thank you :laugh::laugh:
The app is installed but cant share cause its not showing up in the share menu
