you mean USB debug?
I have the 2 others checked in the dev menu. just the USB debug is greyed out.
Well to run that app you need to check that box that allows you to install apps that are not from the market

the settings are the same as my droid phone is set.
but I got it anyway, it seems, even thou the button is greyed out,
it still functions, nice trick samsung. make it look disabled.
I just held my finger there for a minute or so and it toggled on.
must be new security, lets just make them think we disabled it.
so, I am ready to play with other roms, err, how do I backup my factory rom?

also, you must be fairly good with the US tabbys? so, how do we do a network sim unlock without the phone/dialer software?
or do we need to go into maint/factory service mode?
and if so, what is that process?

You can install the market enabler app when your region doesn't get to see some of the market apps. You put in a code and your tab spoofs the market to allow you to download those apps.
Its not working....it shows error.....

Hi! You can do a google search for "google earth apk" and just choose the latest version.
Once you downloaded the apk file (earth.apk?) just transfer it to you tab (if you used a laptop for downloading), then locate it and click it to install.

To quote someone "houston, we have a problem".
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe market enabler requires a rooted device? If you aren't rooted this could be the reason for the "Houston we have a problem" error.
Or he could tell us the actual error.
This is the error I get if I don't allow su privilege.

Woot! that's too funny!
Ok, so root is needed. To give any more advice you need to let us know what your rom is (froyo or gingerbread - they gain root priviledges differently).
Sorry about my reply, I thought you were joking, I didn't know you were saying an actual error.
PM me and I will send you the app. Sorry!

I guess that's why my old code teacher was so hung up about convention all the time! If the ME dev had used a more conventional error code like "can't gain root access" we could have avoided this whole hilarious miscommunication. Lol. This thread had me in tears...

Thank you for that. It will be funny for me when I get the app to him and resolve this.
My phone is the SM-G900A and for some reason I have stopped receiving wireless data. (Yes I have mobile data on) I have tried toggling settings, have attempted a factory reset via system recovery, and attempted to re-install the base firmware from Odin. The factory reset and settings toggling does nothing to solve the problem and Odin is giving me an Authorization fail- http://i.imgur.com/T1gE9Rn.png / http://i.imgur.com/zn4S94a.png. Any help?
EDIT: Wifi works, calling and texting works, the only problem is I am unable to receive data from AT&T when not connected to wifi
My download mode looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/uQMAA7F.jpg
After Odin fails, it shows this: SW Rev Check Fail : [aboot] fused 2 > binary 1

Sometimes the simple things can solve it, try turning off the device and removing Sim card, and place it back in and reboot? Are you on stock rom?

Next time uncheck the bootloader or leave it blank, and Odin will work.

Your suggestion worked and Odin no longer gives an Auth error! Now let me see if it fixes...
EDIT: Well it ran but still failed, Thanks for the tip though http://i.imgur.com/zn4S94a.png

That's odd. Your phone was in download mode, correct?
Also, check your APN settings under Settings /More networks /Mobile networks /Acess Point Names

I have the same question as the OP. So I don't think that app provides that info any more. Is there any other method? I have tried some dialer codes(no success) and RTN-view from activities shortcut. I just get permission denied. EDIT: nevermind I found the refurbish check In the "phone INFO" app. Linked app in this thread is good. My bad.

Does your browser has "data saver" option like chrome has?
If yes, do you have enable it?
Try disable this option from Settings in browser's menu and try connect again.
Turn off Data Saver option and you will see.
P.s: Sorry for my bad english.
Hi all,
I recently bought Package Disabler LG by OEM developer on the Play Store. But, when I launch it and attempt to grant it Admin Privileges, it just keeps looping the same menu for Admin permissions Iver and over again. I think I have the right LG Service plugin installed. Can somebody help with this issue? Thanks.

Hmm. I get to that screen and I can press the Activate but it will keep looping me in the same menu. I'll try a few things.
EDIT: I cleared the app's data and cache then moved it to my Internal storage. It works now

oh... do people still install apps on external SD card when they have alot GB of internal storage?
If it not work, you can try guide in this link. It work for me
https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
Rather than bothering with paying for an app that doesn't always work properly or requires extra effort to get it working right just to end up causing more lag than it fixes in a lot of cases, just use ADB Shell command:
