Will lg bridge force update to mm if bricked on lp - T-Mobile LG G4

My LG g4 was bricked 3 months ago not sure if it was on lollipop at the time but LG bridges kept relaying device up to date . Now i hear MM is out haven't tried in few months maybe 3.
Will LG bridge FORCE MM update and overwrite bricked phone if its there ?
Because I had no luck with LG up tool.
I got device model unknown for a week straight because i was on a Rom when I bricked it.

Omg.. man you have no idea how much I argued this 3 months ago go back
Look into thr threads... LG UP Does Nothing for mine and others situation .
The problem with lg up is it was designed to only fix a brick if you was on stock firmware when the brick happened. I was on a custom rom this results in LG up Device unknown there's no fix at all. This is why I asked since i waited 3 months for the situation to simmer down maybe a developer of the tool re-made it as a fixed version.

What ROM are you currently on? I think it's the 10C or 10E rom. Not a 20A rom
Are you sure its GB? How you checked it?
Just checked the LG server, only new rom addes is the v10e, that the new Vodafone branded rom....
Ok, maybe I am wrong and it is just v10E, but my service center representative told me its GB upgrade when I called him to confirm. Just waiting for the download to finish, once my phone gets upgraded, I will update you guys.
I hope what the service center represntative told me is correct.....
Confirm asap if 10e is GB or not

That was a school example of sarcasm
if it's V10e, and it probably is (they launched V10e a week ago; if they'd planned to launch GB after a week, they wouldn't wasted time on V10e), you will be dissapointed, because it doesn't fix the BSOD.
Still nothing for me yet - I am in the UK on an unbranded stock, but rooted 2x
Its only 10E Vodafone 2.2.2
The message I got from LG facebook Hongkong is gingerbread will be available about Oct

KDZ Flash Issue

I don't care that I'm posting this in the wrong thread. I need help and have been ignored for 2 days.
I tried flashing a KDZ the other night to get to GB, the phone took the Firmware and went to a P920, it didn't however go to GB. So I followed the steps and tried getting far with it.
So I'm stuck here, I've got firmware installed I THINK! With a P920 and no service and won't even read my SIM card.
H E L P! PLEASE. If I can't find someone to help fix, I'm going to be going to Taiwan with no phone, yet the less my wife and mother are going to kill me.
I don't know if the KDZ is on the phone and don't know how to tell.
Sent from my LG-P920 using XDA App
Sounds like you flash the wrong kdz file. Go find the right file and flash it

Please answer the following.
Does the phone turn on?
Does the phone boot to the homescreen?
Are you on a GB baseband?
Do you have CWM installed?
Once you have answered the following, I can continue.

Make sure your tab is stock 3.0.1 and wait patiently.

Just wondering if anyone has had any success in unbricking their tab yet. I was reading through old forum posts and there was a thread where fricorico had flashed a transformer rom and couldn't load fastboot or download mode. He said that he managed to get his tab into apx mode and could then eventually get the tab back up and running.
I can't post a link because I'm on the xda app but our forum isn't too big to find it and try. Also, not sure what or how to get into apx mode though so this post may be literally useless to most people. But maybe someone knowledgeable will remember something as a result.

LG G Flex 4.4

So rumor has it right now that theres an update coming out for the G Flex next month in April that is supposed to include 4.4 and also knock code. Do you guys think that this is an update everyone should do? Or is it going to make it even harder for people trying to unlock the bootloader if we update?

I'm pretty sure the current root method won't work once the Flex is updated to KitKat. I know with the G2 a developer was able to make a stock KitKat Rom with Root quickly. Not sure the Flex will be so lucky since the Flex seems more locked down then the G2. I was a flash whore but I'm cool with stock for now.

Sprint is usually quick with updates so hopefully they push it out real soon
Gonna be awhile I'd imagine for US due to most of the carriers taking their good Ole time pushing them through. Just bought mine today and has 4.2.2, lol! I had 4.3 on my note 2. I wish I had a time machine like that, haha!

Just got a reply from LG that there will come official info for the EU/nordic model within a few weeks
For those of us that are rooted how will we get the ota update? Will it come to use and we can just do the update and still keep the root or do we have to unroot in order to update?

since each carrier has their own "version" that they push, it could be alot sooner or alot later, depending on your carrier..

I know this thread is a little old, but i had the same problem after rooting my T-Mobile Flex. I'm telling you, the guide to restore stock firmware DOES 100% work. The problem is that it's not clear on what state your phone must be in. I had to manually enter Download Mode in order to get the thing working. I have been reading that some people were able to fully restore their phone by using the LG Suite program, which can be found on LG's official support page. Make sure your computer actually "registers" your phone being connected to it by installing the appropriate drivers.
