Good afternoon.
I have a att galaxy s6 edge G925a. And I flashed it to the extreme syndicate custom rom using flashfire. Everything seemed to work fine until I started the bluetooth.
It allowed me to pair with one device, and right after that , the message of " settings have stopped" appears. And it won't allow me to scan for more devices or open the bluetooth settings.
I can turn on and off the bluetooth icon. But i cannot acces the scan screen
I have tried to clear the cache of settings and bluetooth apps, I reflashed by the same method.
Any help or suggestions?
Thank you
I have the same problem.
Do you fixed the problem?

Hi all,
Essentially, my AT&T Galaxy S5 (running 4.4.2 rooted+custom rom) is having trouble with GPS. It works like it should, but the device always chooses high accuracy mode, instead of regular GPS mode.
This all started when I accidentally miss-clicked and pressed "never ask again". Now I can't reset that warning, nor can I find where to undo it.
Any ideas? I'm not looking to reflash the ROM and what not. It's just a hassle to turn on gps, then go to settings -> location -> choose gps only every time I need to use maps or something.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks!
Recently on CM12.1 quite frequently my pebble will vibrate because it lost connection. I look at my phone, a VZW Note 2, and Bluetooth has been turned off. I open up the Pebble app and I get a toast pop up saying that an app wants to turn on bluetooth. I agree and it would turn back on and connect.
Even more recently, it would do this but, when I agree to the toast message Bluetooth doesn't turn on. Fails to turn on through settings as well and I have to restart to get it to connect.
Any suggestions?
Currently on the 5/10 build.
I'm on a HTC One M8 and have had this same issue ever since I changed to CM12.1 late April. I'm currently on 5/30 and everything was fine all weekend after I updated to this build. Today now that I have linked to my car stereo for the first time on this build it began the losing connection again.
I'm on CM12.1 since it came out and never had any issues.
I guess your problems are driver/kernel related.

Well, CM 12.1 bluetooth issue is an established one. I'm on CM based 'Blisspop' ROM with a custom kernel (LG Optimus G Pro e980). At first, I was just rebooting in recovery & clearing cache. Its time consuming & really annoying. I was looking for a fix, nothing found in xda. Then, I found out, it can be stopping 'Bluetooth Share' in Settings->Apps->All, & then turning on bluetooth works. And it stay on little longer than 'after reboot' fix.
BlueTooth NOT connecting
I flash every other day (sometimes Clean, sometimes Dirty), and I flashed yesterdays CM-12.1-20150926-spyder-NIGHTLY, and I did see that if I connect to Bluetooth, it works fine until I leave the range and turn off my Bluetooth. When I return to my Bluetooth device (in my car), my RAZR will not reconnect to Bluetooth, I tried going into Settings and then Bluetooth and turn on the Bluetooth, but it will not stay on. I try this numerous times to no avail. I have to reboot my phone and then I can connect to Bluetooth again, until I leave the range and Bluetooth turns off again, then I have to reboot again.
I'm getting tied of rebooting my phone every-time I want to use Bluetooth. Can someone PLEASE look into fixing this issue..
I did a clean install of pure nexus 7.0, after wiping. Everything works fine except for the phone app. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and it comes up but when I hit activate it just comes up and split second later stops. Maybe the wipe didn't work well since I still have all my settings intact from PN6 to PN7.0? I can receive calls fine and can use the messenger app to make calls so the phone works. It just seems to be the app. I installed another phone app and it works fine so maybe I'll just get over it =/.
using another phone app and it's actually better than the stock app. Much more user friendly. But now I'm noticing wifi is really slow to connect. I noticed it at work and now at home. It seems to scan a while to find all networks then when I pick mine it doesn't react. Later I went back to my phone and noticed it finally connected. Maybe there is some radio issue?
used this instruction from another person having an issue. It worked woo hoo. Hopefully this can help someone on this forum too
It's unfortunate that you are experiencing connectivity issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your Nexus 6P running Android Nougat. In addition to what you have tried to troubleshoot the issue, I'd suggest you try resetting the network settings and see if that helps. To do so: Open Settings > Backup & reset > Touch Network settings reset > Tap Reset Settings. (Please note that this will reset Wi-Fi, Cellular data and Bluetooth settings which means you will have to input your Wi-Fi credentials again.)
If I try to enable bluetooth or Wifi it refuses to switch on
it just tries for a few seconds before giving up
Edit:

I ended up sending in my device to Hauwei to get repaired, since the device was less then 3 months old they ended up replacing the whole phone with a new one
This may be a dumb question but have you tried restarting / turning the phone on and off yet?
Also sometimes installing a System Update via OTA can fix this problem. (You can redownload the current system software version that is on your phone and just update it on top of the existing system software without losing data).

I have exactly the same problem - "If I try to enable bluetooth or Wifi it refuses to switch on ". Only wifi and bluetooth. Any ideas what should help?
What fw version do you have this effect?
I am on B378 which I got OTA.
When I go to settings, bluetooth and i disable bluetooth there, the switch turns gray and I cannot enable it anymore. luckyly, enabeling BT still works when I do it from the drop down menu.
I have a worse bug with settings, more, mobile network
it worked after the update, but after sometimes enable/disable data roaming, the screen closed by itself and now it is not possible to enter this submenu anymore. when i tap on "mobile network" it briefly shows "no service" in the top left corner but the menu does not open. if I tap mobile network again, the whole settings menu will close.
any idea?
Yes, also B378 and OTA.
And in "About phone" > "Status" > "Bluetooth address" is Unavailable.

I tried installing cm13, after even that failed to fix the problem, I noticed that the mac address I got when using cm13 was the one you normally get before wifi is initialized (I believe it's 00.20.00.00.00 or something)
From my experience from reading the posts on the cm13 port for my old htc one mini 2, these told me that the operating system wasn't seeing the wifi hardware in the phone...
So after relocking the bootloader and flashing the stock rom (still didn't fix anything) it seems that it may be a hardware failure...

Anyone else having a problem where a previously working pokemon go+ or go-tcha now fails to connect? I've tried hard reset, unpairing and repairing, closing the app, reinstalling, nothing works. Running g935f on android 7.0
Got them 3 months ago worked amazing, some updates later it really was hard to connect but still worked and now NOTHING. works with my gf's phone however...
Hi there, did you manage to find a workaround yet?
Fixed!
Application manager - > show system (from options) - > Bluetooth - > storage - > clear storage. You'll need to turn your Bluetooth radio back on or do a device reset, but it worked for me!
It's an app related issue. Both iOS and android users have been having close to if not the exact same problem.
