Anyone else having a problem where a previously working pokemon go+ or go-tcha now fails to connect? I've tried hard reset, unpairing and repairing, closing the app, reinstalling, nothing works. Running g935f on android 7.0
Got them 3 months ago worked amazing, some updates later it really was hard to connect but still worked and now NOTHING. works with my gf's phone however...
Hi there, did you manage to find a workaround yet?
Fixed!
Application manager - > show system (from options) - > Bluetooth - > storage - > clear storage. You'll need to turn your Bluetooth radio back on or do a device reset, but it worked for me!
It's an app related issue. Both iOS and android users have been having close to if not the exact same problem.

Hey everyone,
I'm having some issues with any ROM using android 2.3.4 or 2.3.5
so far I've tested it with CyanogenMod7 and MIUI 1.8.18 & 1.8.19
The issue is that, regardless of my settings, my phone is being a stubborn ***** and decides to kill my wifi-connection whenever I lock my screen. I don't get any notifications for email or whatsapp whatsoever until I wake my phone. Getting called and textmessages do still function normally.
(If it is of any help, the radio version I use is in my signature.)
Wifi sleeping policy is set to never,
Regulatory domain (wtf is that?) set to 13 channels. (Default.)
Backround sync & Auto sync are turned on.

I have fixed the problem with my wifi dying when my screen locks,
I have tested this by playing songs over the network with my phone sleeping (Didn't use to work, now it does.)
However, I have encountered a new issue. My WhatsApp Messenger doesn't seem to connect at all!
Won't send any messages, won't update groups etc.
I have tried re-installing it several times.
Any ideas?
did you try full wipe, or connect to other wifi access point?
I'm trying a full wipe and reflash now, thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to another wifi access point so I can't try that.

Done reflashing after a full wipe -- It seems to have fixed my problem!
Thanks for the help.

New issue, I'll explain in top post.
I am seeing the following issue:
I have a Droid 4, patched to run in GSM networks, flashed with CM 10.2.1. In this configuration, bluetooth used to work on this phone at least one month ago (because that's when my wifes new phone was bought and there my phone is listed as a paired device). Some time during the last month, I wiped my phone and reflashed the same CM 10.2.1 onto it (quite a lot of cruft had accumulated and I was having battery issues and was just too lazy to track down the specific culprits).
And now, when I try to turn on bluetooth in the settings menu, the button moves to the "on" position but stays grey and nothing happens. When I close settings and reopen it, the button is in the "off" position again.
Also, when looking in "about phone" -> "status" -> "bluetooth address", the entry text says "unavailable".
Any ideas as to
* how to further debug this?
* how to get bluetooth working again?
resolved ..
Hello everyone.
To report back, the reason it wasn't working is that I was an idiot.
Notably, when scrolling through the list of installed apps yesterday (looking for something utterly unrelated) I noticed an app called "Disable Service". Hmmm, I thought to myself, I vaguely remember using this a few months ago when trying to tweak battery lifetime. So I opened it and found out that I had deactivated, among other things, all Bluetooth related background services, thinking "I never need Bluetooth anyway", probably.
So yeah. Reactivating them led to, surprisingly enough, Bluetooth working again.
Sorry for the noise.
Good afternoon.
I have a att galaxy s6 edge G925a. And I flashed it to the extreme syndicate custom rom using flashfire. Everything seemed to work fine until I started the bluetooth.
It allowed me to pair with one device, and right after that , the message of " settings have stopped" appears. And it won't allow me to scan for more devices or open the bluetooth settings.
I can turn on and off the bluetooth icon. But i cannot acces the scan screen
I have tried to clear the cache of settings and bluetooth apps, I reflashed by the same method.
Any help or suggestions?
Thank you
I have the same problem.
Do you fixed the problem?
I did a clean install of pure nexus 7.0, after wiping. Everything works fine except for the phone app. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and it comes up but when I hit activate it just comes up and split second later stops. Maybe the wipe didn't work well since I still have all my settings intact from PN6 to PN7.0? I can receive calls fine and can use the messenger app to make calls so the phone works. It just seems to be the app. I installed another phone app and it works fine so maybe I'll just get over it =/.
using another phone app and it's actually better than the stock app. Much more user friendly. But now I'm noticing wifi is really slow to connect. I noticed it at work and now at home. It seems to scan a while to find all networks then when I pick mine it doesn't react. Later I went back to my phone and noticed it finally connected. Maybe there is some radio issue?
used this instruction from another person having an issue. It worked woo hoo. Hopefully this can help someone on this forum too
It's unfortunate that you are experiencing connectivity issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your Nexus 6P running Android Nougat. In addition to what you have tried to troubleshoot the issue, I'd suggest you try resetting the network settings and see if that helps. To do so: Open Settings > Backup & reset > Touch Network settings reset > Tap Reset Settings. (Please note that this will reset Wi-Fi, Cellular data and Bluetooth settings which means you will have to input your Wi-Fi credentials again.)
Hello All,
I am a 'Non Developer' user and its my first post on forum, so please pardon my ignorance whatsoever.
I am using an ROG P3 Tencent edition (I003DD) running Android 10 Build QKQ1.200419.002.WW_Phone-17.0823.2008.78. Over last few weeks, I am facing several issues which I will try to explain below.
1. Bluetooth: When connecting a bluetooth headset, the device connects successfully, but gets no sound. Disconnecting and reconnecting, even removing and re-adding the device doesn't help. Strangely, on connecting a device, there is a few seconds lag/ freeze before I can play a video on youtube, no sound still. Restarting the device solves the issue for the moment, but the issue remains when I reconnect after a few hours.
2. Settings keeps stopping: I am using Whatsapp Twin Apps. When trying to link a Whatsapp web device on my secondary whatsapp App, I am unable to go past 'Link a device' icon and after a few taps, get 'Settings keeps stopping' error.
I haven't faced this exact error on other apps, but have had few other apps crashing too recently in a random fashion.
3. Fingerprint: It takes several attempts to unlock the screen using fingerprint. That's despite using clean fingers screen.
I have already tried resetting/ wipe the device through Settings but that didn't fix the problem. There are no Updates available in System Update.
Questions:
1. Has anyone else faced similar issues ? If so, were you able to fix it?
2. WIll retting the phone through Bios make any difference than resetting through setting (which I already did).
3. Since the phone is originally a Chinese version and it came pre-installed with Global OS, will Bios reset put it back into Chinese?
4. Should I update to 17.0823.2102.143 manually?
