I am trying to automate the network mode toggling to save battery but not able to achieve the same. Currently I am Resurrection Remix - M v5.7.1 with Xposed v86. I have tried using Tasker and Intelli3G previously I was able to achieve the same in Lollipop but facing issues on Marshmallow.

Hi there, I'm trying to disable the notification but the Elixir 2 Method doesn't work, and Xposed doesn't work also.

Am also looking for a way to disable this very annoying notification, no luck with methods that worked on my z1c
edit: @vibecatalin came across this that works on 4.4.4 :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-module-xposed-dtn-disabler-t2404404
Might also work on lollipop, please confirm...
I can't install Xposed on Locked Bootloader on 5.0.2 because custom recovery doesn't work :|
Hi,
I am trying to set up a complete 'de-Googled' Moto G (2014) and am having problems with the final 'registration' phase of the Signal set up. The phone is rooted and running the latest Cyanogen Mod (Marshmallow) for the Moto G. After providing my phone number and pressing 'register' Signal does nothing. Before installing XPosed framework and modules Signal would ask for Google Play Services. This indicates that something's working but not quite all the way.
The XPosed Framework (86) and the XPosed installer (3.1.1) are active. The modules 'FakeGapps' (1.1) and 'This App Will Run Without Google Play Services' (1.0) are both installed and activated.
Any ideas would be most welcome!
Nothing here sounds like a root or Xposed problem at all. The problem seems to be from the lack of real Gapps. Can you try putting back real Gapps and seeing if that makes it work?

SIngal uses Play Services to work so use either Silence or Conversations apps (available on F-Droid). microG Gms Core might help too.
Not related to Xposed.
Dear folks, lost 3hours of my life now seraching for solution...
Flashed Magisk 17.1 on Android 6.0.1, S905D chip, then tried almost any MAGISK MANAGER VERSION. All of them do not even start, they close immediately.
One version worked with disabled wifi: Magisk Manager v.5.4.0 Then masked one app succesfully against root detection!
But crashes when turning on wifi...no matter, app is hidden. Alright, then tried version after version, because 5.4 does not have CANARY channel.
Any version crashes, even with wifi disabled! Now I even cannot install any VERSION at all!!!!
Now installed 5.4 again, no problem...weired...even wifi enabled now no problem?!?!
I am going crazy!
Atlast I got a way to turn on wifi calling on Moto E4 plus. I tried it on nicklaus, it also works on owens.
So to do it you need magisk root(>19v).
After magisk installation is done, go to this link and download the latest voenabler module:
https://github.com/edgd1er/voenabler/releases
This is a magisk module for enabling volte and vowifi created by edgd1er(thanks to him for creating this module).
So after downloading it, put it into your phone and open Magisk manager app and go to modules section->click +(add)->go to the directory where you saved voenabler module and select it and magisk will install it.
Then do a reboot
Now if you go to settings->more->you will see wifi calling. Toggle it on and select wifi preferred. And thats it...now wifi calling is on.
If you're facing stability issues (like no incoming calls on wifi calling), then you may have to change your stock kernel and install a custom kernel.
This technique works on all roms(stock, custom).
It worked perfectly for me. So feel free to ask any questions, if you stuck in any step.

Hi @SreyasXd, I have the exact same phone. I tried to install the Wifi Calling from the play store. The app It lets me enable that feature, but it doesn't stick. This is my main phone and I use it frequently, I can't risk stability issues with it. How has it been working for you since? Thank you.

It works well, there would be no stability issues whatsoever if you do the process right. Just follow this
as it is and get your phone rooted with magisk, then download and add the module provided above. You will have wifi calling working.
Important: Your carrier must support wifi calling
I switched from MIUI 12.0.4 to Pixel Experience (28 Dec 2020 build) running on Android 11. The hotspot worked fine initially. Then I installed Magisk, Viper and AML (audio modification library). Now whenever I turn hotspot on, it turns off and it's written "error" on the hotspot screen. I tried uninstalling, restarting, factory reset and changing timeout, but nothing worked. Hiding Magisk didn't seem to work either. Changing the hotspot names and settings didn't help either. Tethering seems to work fine. Please help.
Edit: So, after much investigation I found that Viper4Android is the culprit. Whenever I install it, hotspot doesn't work. Is there a way to fix this?
Hotspot and Wifi doesnt work if you flash V4A. You need to flash a custom kernel. All custom kernels support V4A. But I cant recommend one as I am using stock. You need to check with others about custom kernels.
