cm13 stuck in bootlogo - Xiaomi Mi 5 Questions & Answers

I flashed cm-13.0-20160521-UNOFFICIAL-gemini.zip to my mi5. I flashed with twrp recovery.
System previously installed was miui7, global stable.
The phone is not bricked, i have access to twrp recovery & fastboot. But i cant get Cyanogenmod to run.
Any ideas?

Try this new release https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=66164 works for me, the last one is best

Thank you! Didnt find those files by googling. Where can i find the official page that supports that build? Found some bugs id like to report like audio on headphones not working etc... any idea?

hmm jack audio is works for me :/ maybe try report bugs here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5/how-to/wip-cm13-07-06-2016-build-t3394247

Thnx. Well I posted it. Doesn't seem to be the official cm ROM page as the link to the file is way outdated. But we'll see.
If you find a official page with the updated link I'd be interested

New (Unofficial) adreno drivers for android 7.1

Qualcomm has just released a developer preview of their proprietary adreno drivers for nexus devices (https://developer.qualcomm.com/download/adrenosdk/user-mode-driver-binaries-adreno.zip), unfortunately no changelog has been posted and n4 is not oficially supported.
You must flash the n7 version of these to work, but in case you don't want to register to download or etc. etc. i'll post the flashable zip here (i just renamed it to prevent confusion)
As the qcom site says: This release is intended only for developers, and does not meet our customer release quality. So use at your own risk.
Android lollipop is dead and latest preview is for Marsmallow only!!!

Well, unfortunately nexus 7 support also is ended. Here is an zip package for android N with libraries pulled from msm8974 devices (provided by CyanogenMod). Use at your own risk.

New drivers will be good for CyanogenMod 12.1 ?
I don't know if anyone has been trying these drivers, but it appears that Google Maps will crash when using it. I did pull a logcat, if anyone needs it.
Links updated to a september driver release
Links updated to a october preview for Marshmallow. Lollipop is not supported anymore. OpenGL version bumped to v136.0.

Flashed on top of Frank and all is butter.
Im using it with Cataclysm (Oct 17 2015) and Hellscore kernel b84-M. I wiped Cache and Dalvik Cache after install and then rebooted. Is all good, thanks
Everything is working well with Frank build 10-19/Taurus kernel. No problems at all. Thanks!
I'm noob on this matter. So, some questions:
- What benefits I would have flashing it?
- Can I install without any "wipe"?
- Just need to have a 6.0 ROM or also need a Custom Kernel?
Thanks!

-Benefits would be optimizations. I don't know what exactly but maybe someone else could shed some light on it.
-I just flashed it in twrp no wipe needed.
-Any marshmallow kernel is fine as far as I know.
Before and after antutu
Can anybody post before and after antutu?

came across a link to cm13 for kltespr on Google.

Its unofficial,
If you want the link DM me.
Edit: Here is the link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347849450
If anyone wants me to take it down lmk. This is not my build, it was uploaded and most likely compiled by "DeVortex"
You also may want to check out this app:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/3qp5q9/custom_quick_settings_app_allowing_for_broadcast/
It allows you to edit the quick settings tiles to anything you like. I tested it with this build of cm13 and it works great.

Yeah I did regular wipe and tried the advanced wipe with system, data, cache and dalvik. Makes me sad I can't seem to get this awesome rom to work.
Don't feel sad its buggy AF its unusable
Their really should make a thread for this I tried this on my unlock Sprint s5 and its not as buggy as people say Im using build 10302015 klte version and it pretty smooth now on tap doesn't work but everything else so far does. For those having trouble installing or it getting stuck booting just power off reboot recovery and factory reset again and it should work

flashable on previous twrp? doesn't it?
While you're at it, could you also include f2fs support? The official TWRP for Z2 Siruis somehow excluded it, even if the device works just fine with it.
3.0.0?
@championswimmer any plans for updating twrp?
Or better yet, what arguments did you use when compiling twrp to use the new recovery partition. I've only found instructions for use with the fotakernel. My googlefu is failing.

[LineageOS 14.1] Problem with the headphones sound

Hi guys, good evening
Recently (4 days ago), I've flashed LineageOS 14.1 on my Xiaomi MI5. I've used the Global MIUI 8 for 4 months but I wanted to use Custom ROMs. I was in love with the LineageOS, everything was perfect, until I plugged my headphones (which worked on MIUI). The music was playing but no sound was coming through the headphones. The most awkward thing is that the headphones works when I'm calling someone. When I go to youtube via browser and play a video, the sound comes in. The problem is occurring with Spotify (the music plays without headphones, but when I plug in, no sound).
I tried flashing the RRemix 5.8.3 and the same problem occurred. I made a clean install (wiped everything via TWRP), installed the Micro GApps (tried with the Full GApps) but the problem still persists. The bluetooth works fine too.
hello! this is a firmware problem. flash 7.4.14, wipe cache&dalvik and you should be fine
beware: from next week on, the minimum firmware required to lineageos will be 7.7.6
it is buggy (no headphone sound) on last build though

Oh, thank you very much. So, I have to flash the 7.7.6 or the 7.4.14? Will it restore the headphone sound?
7.4.14, yes it will
no problem
it worked, thank you very much
If somebody looking for the solution for headphone bug with Lineage (and some minor bugs), this solution worked for me:
- Download latest MIUI version from Xiaomi. I prefer beta versions.
- On TWRP wipe dalvik and cache, DONT WIPE DATA!
- Install latest MIUI and wipe dalvik and cache after install! DONT WIPE DATA! Don't reboot.
- Come back to main screen of TWRP and install your Lineage again. Wipe dalvik and cache after install. DONT WIPE DATA again!
- Reboot and everything is fine!
Advantage: Your Lineage with all your configurations, apps and data still there, but fixed the headphone problem.

Thank you mlire!
I've flashed the firmware 7.4.14 and it worked fine-
but i'm struggling to make work sometimes I need to plug the headphone many times for sound come out.
do you know if is there another fimware compatible with the latest LineageOS?
Thank you....
This worked for me like a charm only that I am on One Plus 5-- followed exact same steps but using OOS and then flashed Lineage 15.1 over it.
Thank you.
