Hi. All I see is 6.0 tweak to get the gyroscope going, but no luck with 5.0.1, and I wonder why. Can you please help me?
I unlocked the Bootloader, I pasted the gyroscope file to permisions folder and all of that, bu gyro i not working
How do I enable it and why is this possible only for 6.0?

I always assumed that if I don't have automatic update, I cant update it. But now I see there is a file 1.5 GB large to download, and I can update it localy - hopefully. I'll try

I hope thats true because when system by itself doesan's dinf updates, that usually means your region or country didnt get oficiall update yet
I have a problem tho-- I downloaded the 1.3 GB file and exctracter 2-5 gB .APP filte to dload folder on root of my internal storage, but when I press local update, it doesant recognise it

6.0 Battery Consumption and camera is very bad. I hate battery. In 5.0.1 non protected apps closed and didn't open again and again. But in 6.0 non protected apps run again and again
theres a word or pdf file in that 1.3 GB file. open it and check that your current version is supported for this update

Can someone pls extract the boot.img or make a twrp backup of it from the B138Sp01?
When i extract it from the Update.app its to small and i cant unpack these boot.imgs.

Maybe use Update Extractor. I wonder what do you need these files?
Italy, easy installation, coming from B135 Israel, retains data, smart cover setting, yes, glove mode, no.
Gimme 2 days, will test. Good so far.

All good now have extracted one works :good:
Very swishy, no problems, smooth, nice - but so was B135Israel
Very calm though, no stuttering.

You should be able to. I've been going between B133, B135 and this one without even losing data, so yeah, it should be alright.

Better B135 israelian or B138 italian?
IMHO the italian one is smoother
I've gone back to B135Israel.
Both this and B138Italy are better than anything else I've tried.
There is some heating with B138Italy which i don't experience with B135Israel.
Also it seem like a slight change in battery - not specific but lasting just under the full days use I was getting out of B135 Israel.
So, back I go!

Guys, i've tried this transition pack for rollback to 609...but my update crash at 19%....i've also tried to do a factory reset before install it , but it fails. Any ideas??

i have downloaded a lots of version. everyone failed.
down to 800 was no problem. downladed 609, full rom. but i cant find it on dload folder. any suggestions? it should be update.app right? not .zip. or does it matter?
EDIT: got it now. i had to extract the files. the update.app is inside the zip. size is 1.99gb

Yep, put the update.app (609) in dload folder of your sd card. Then u can able to do a local update.
i've rolled back to 609 right now, and it works for me.

Download b609,extract update.app from zip.Create folder "dload" on sd card,copy update.app in dload folder,shutdown phone and make force update(pres vol+vol- and power button same time).

listen, i'm not saying that is the solution for this problem but, i've solved it deleting the others update (couse in my sdcard there were previously updates, that i didnt delete) in my sd card, and for me worked well. So as i said you before:
-delete the others update from the sdcard ( update.zip, update.app).
-in extremis.............do a factory reset.
I just updated LG Bridge trying to do a backup so I can try and root from the one click method. After LG Bridge updated I decided to check for an update and sure as **** there was one. I'm running it now. It is 1.66GB.
Are you noticing any improvements to touch response, performance, temperature, etc?

So far I can't make it all the way through the update process. I'm not sure if it is because of my attempts to root my device with the one click method and now stock recovery isn't on the phone?
UPDATE: Seems as though my drivers got messed up when my computer updated the LG Bridge app. Phone seems to be updating now.
UPDATE: Still just 5.1. Too soon to tell what has been improved upon.

my phone doesn't see the update just yet. of course I'm always at the end of the line when it comes to batch updates.

You will most definitely have problems if you try to OTA update while having twrp. You'll have to re-root and re-flash twrp assuming the methods available now are still successful. Once someone packages it into a flashable zip you can keep twrp and root after flashing

Just tried it and I'm able to get 8 unplugged if I'm not moving fingers, was only able to get 6 before the update. Seriously tho I can notice the difference in responsiveness and overall use of the phone. Much snappier - this is what I was expecting when I first got the phone.

B133-that's single SIM, isnt it?
Do you want it to be that way or do you want double sim?
Anyways, i guess b171 (or single sim counterpart for b170) must be directly accesible from your version.. Then from there, you can directly go to b551 (marshmallow)..
