What is that?

Best P7 user:
A software update is available for your P7, from version to version B839 B830. This software update has not been officially released.
To ensure the quality of the software we want to collect as much practical experience.
We propose this software available as an Over The Air (OTA) update to a limited group of users.
Because you've previously User Field Tests conducted on the P7, we are very interested in your feedback degree.
This allows us to make adjustments for improved performance and ease of use.
Watch out. This update only works if you have now installed on your B830 P7. Do you then you can not install this update B839 another version.
In case of any problems is a Rollback software available that allows you to return to a stable version.
The Field User Test period lasts up to one week
Issues that are fixed with this software:
· Problems playing videos in Youtube
· No sound notifications or no sound when playing videos.
· Chrome browser or facebook crashes
· Problems with the navigation
· Problems with the camera
· Problems with the alarm clock app
It is recommended to perform the update using a WiFi connection.
Watch out! Wanneerje perform the update with a mobile data connection or a roaming network, this may incur additional data charges may apply.
This software update will not affect your personal data on your phone. These are not erased.

[ Enable Multi Window with a zip in P8 Lite]

Hi!
I create this zip to enable Multi Window option in P8 Lite.
This zip is already set to hw/eu but can be set to other provider.
Code:
Dial this code *#*#2846579#*#*
Go to Network Information Query -> Vendor Country Info
Now open the zip, cust folder and rename [ hw ] to vendor name,
open it and rename [ eu ] to country name like it is in phone screen
then copy the zip to sd card.
Use TWRP to flash it!
To Start to use just open a app then press with out release the square key.
Done!

You need to delete the 2 files only.

I only changed the names of the folders, the hw was the same, but the second one passed from eu to la, I saved and then after I made the change I moved the zip to my SD, flashed from TWRP, but when I boot my phone I'm still without multi window working, I'm trying to figure out why, do you think that it has to do with the version of my phone?, I mean I have an ALE-23 (the latin american version of the P8 lite),
Info about my SO:

Open a app like Google Chrome then press the square in down bar and don't release it, it will pop up the multi Windows funtion

Flash with TWRP And CallRecorder runs on P9.

installed on mate 9, however on bluetooth does not record remote end. button in interface does record into recorder app.

I have another apk successfully installed on my p9 plus and working fine. It is originally for mate 9. I downloaded it from another XDA thread.
But I have a general question for non Chinese devices with root and hwcallrecorder installed by user like in our case:
Is it working exactly like it should be regarding integration with EMUI 5.0 and voice recorder?
I mean do devices with Chinese ROMs show any notifications in the status bar or notification enter while recording or after recording that will take you directly to voice recorder when you touch it?
This was the case with call recorder on EMUI 4.0. Anyone with knowledge or Chinese ROM and can test it then give a feedback would be much appreciated.

Force 4g option without root emui 9 only

How to add 4G LTE Only option on Huawei phone without root
On your Android phone, open*Play Store*app.
Tap on the search box and type*Settings Database Editorand tap*Search.
Tap*Install*button to install the app on your phone.
Once the*installation is done, tap on the app to open it.
Once the app is opened, you’ll see three options per following:
System
Secure
Global
Tap on*System.
Scroll down until you find*hw_networkmode_preference. To the right, you will see something like this —*“9,6,2,1”. Tap on this line.
Need to delete all 9,6,2,1.Only put 11 in that value. Then restart and u good to go

On my P10 I have this 4G Only Tile built-in. Sad that Mate 10 is missing this feature.

Edit this prop or use MTTOOL to do so.

I just upgrade my firmware to android 9 on huawei nova 3i, i follow the suggestion it really work .

Can confirm that this actually works on P20 Lite with EMUI 9.1

any downside to this? If it just added option to GUI I would be happy, but with removing a lot of numbers and replace it with 11, I'm a bit sceptical

Each number is a mode.
Since 9.0 on most builds: mode 11 (lte/4g only) is forced hidden even is selected.
Switching to blank or -1 value, will make systemUI show you all modes available for your device:
Which is great but could be a downside.

there is no "hw_networkmode_preference" value in my emui 9.0.0.187 and add it manualy is not working.

currently using m20x, android 10, however msia (my current telco) doesnt support the LTE+ , its good to know all this knowledge, i can play around the band and c 1 day if i can pick up 4g+

Studiomaster DigiLive 16 – APK-V1.6.3 ..buth i didn't notice there are analog gain controls here (!!) ..and in software have an chenged window:
after that go to bootloader mode and make factory reset and reinstall original (mq16update.zip - APK V. 1.5.4B) and ..not hapened APK version ,logos, and names of mixing console has been changed, bath input controlls no(!!)
Dont possibile to change analog input levels, miexer dont have signal from analog inputs. Digital in/outputs and analog outputs working fine.
Can someone help me? TY and BR!

Also if you don't solve, you need to provide factory reset of android and reinstall entire package mq16update. I don't know how you could do this because if I remember correctly, home access is inhibited and the Android submenu cannot be accessed normally.

what version of firmware you have? I can send you 1.5.4B application. Also I search entire image (also dumped with ADB) for 1.6.1 version

Does anyone have the password for the DEV MODE. After a factory reset, the mixer toggle the DEV MODE to off.
